Why other states can't adopt the same formula as Gujarat of single window clearances. Many other states keep crying that Gujarat is snatching all the business from them. But the biggest reason for Gujarat to be more successful than other states is less corruption. Some skeptics might challenge me but I feel at top level the corruption is lesser than other states.

How do you account for these factors For example in a family you have a strict father who works hard provides everything in monetary for the family. The mother does the other things like cooking cleaning washing, managing the house, taking care of the kids etc… There is an emotional element here from the mother who managed the whole house . And there is care element from the father who provides for the family. They both have to be in Sync to see the success of the family as a whole. ThinkSchool is biased in favor of Modi and BJP. Like Gujarat, West Bengal also has its Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Portal for a few years now. Btw, ThinkSchool starts to contradict himself here at 9:23 after he started explaining how two different states cannot be measured using the same yardstick as their conditions can be very different, even though a moment ago he was literally explaining how using a few metrics one could evaluate the performance of a state. Ohkay so at the end he basically defends Modi's Acche Din jumlabaazi as well by painting it as brilliant. The returns of capital expenditure is much better for the economy than just spending on subsidies in hope of increased demand. Spending on cap-ex create tangible infrastructure as common public utility that acts as the foundation of economic activity, which in long term(5- 10 years) raises the standard of living of the population, leading to organic and sustained increases in demand. On the other hand subsidies artificially increase the demand, leading to inefficient economy in the long run. The demand in this case is unsustainable, unlike the one generated by cap-ex spending. Without improved infra due to lack of cap-ex spending the supply doesn't increases, while the subsidies leave more expendable money in the hands of population, leading to inflation. Hence, subsidies should only be give in a targeted manner for only essential items like food, shelter, health, rather than electricity, mixer grinder, television, etc.

If a state invests capital so that the money invested can generate economic activity which ultimately helps to increase their GDP, per capita income ctc then after some time the debt to GDP ratio of that state can be reduced. But instead if a state indulges in freebies, corruption, money laundering, etc. then their debt to GDP ratio for that state will never decrease and will eventually be destroyed. So you go through all the data yourself and decide ......🙏

Rest is divided between congress, left, few local small parties and independent candidates. But TMC has a strong hold on women's votes. Because accept it or not lower ranked BJP politicians have a tendency of being misogynist. Women in west bengal feel secure when TMC is in power. Of course because they improved women's safety in cities. (I don't know much about villages, but I think we still have problems there). But TMC gave money to women. Basically women centric social schemes like kanyashri (25k rupees), rupasri (30k when marrying), jubashri, various scholarships, laxmi vandar and so on. Basically TMC is capturing women votes. I think the question was about the government at the center but got relegated to how states are faring - which is a commentary on the state's governance by the party in power. States sometimes work at cross purposes. Look at West Bengal. Or Punjab. It would have been better if we looked at the macro indicators from 2014 - 2023 and compared it to the decade prior.

For example in a family you have a strict father who works hard provides everything in monetary for the family. The mother does the other things like cooking cleaning washing, managing the house, taking care of the kids etc…
There is an emotional element here from the mother who managed the whole house . And there is care element from the father who provides for the family.

Like Gujarat, West Bengal also has its Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Portal for a few years now. Also ThinkSchool dude conveniently forgets the MSME sector where West Bengal ranks very highly and generates lots of jobs. I am not saying WB is flawless or anything but selectively picking some things to show that one state is better or worse than the other is basically bias.

The money saved on electricity is spent elsewhere increasing demand. The money received from schemes likes Laxmir Bhandar are spent on buying goods and services. All this contributes to the GDP.

The returns of capital expenditure is much better for the economy than just spending on subsidies in hope of increased demand. Spending on cap-ex create tangible infrastructure as common public utility that acts as the foundation of economic activity, which in long term(5- 10 years) raises the standard of living of the population, leading to organic and sustained increases in demand. On the other hand subsidies artificially increase the demand, leading to inefficient economy in the long run. The demand in this case is unsustainable, unlike the one generated by cap-ex spending. Without improved infra due to lack of cap-ex spending the supply doesn't increases, while the subsidies leave more expendable money in the hands of population, leading to inflation. Hence, subsidies should only be give in a targeted manner for only essential items like food, shelter, health, rather than electricity, mixer grinder, television, etc.

A freebie like sewing machine or laptop can be income generating but TV cannot be. So not all freebies benefit people.

Don't do politics 😂😂😂😂 You can't judge every state just by their debt to GDP ratio numbers.There are several parameters. But basically if I say.....
If a state invests capital so that the money invested can generate economic activity which ultimately helps to increase their GDP, per capita income ctc then after some time the debt to GDP ratio of that state can be reduced.
But instead if a state indulges in freebies, corruption, money laundering, etc. then their debt to GDP ratio for that state will never decrease and will eventually be destroyed.
So you go through all the data yourself and decide ......🙏
