I appreciate your hard work.
Thank you so much!
Before I went vegan 7 yrs. ago, my cholesterol was 275. It went down to 210, but despite being strickly "whole food plant based", my cholesterol won't budge. My mother has late onset dementia, so this is concerning. I do also have hypothyroidism. Just wonder if I should take a statin as a precaution?
Look into Dr Sebi on this
No, it's the statins that cause dementia. You need to drop the plant diet and go keto or carnivore. Also get a LDL test to see if they compose of the small LDL(dangerous) or large LDL(healthy).
Which LDL??
Im 25... And i have high cholesterol and numerous strokes since february 😢i have been given statin, blood thinner, and vitamin for the brain but...how long do i need to do ghis ya?
How many covid vaccines did you take?
I have always had high cholesterol except twice when I got really super thin. I am a vegan and yet I just had my blood taken and my total is 231. I do not want to go on meds because I am also on thyroid medication for Hashimotos. I am almost 56, female. Don't know what to do anymore.
BTW: I am five years in with mal de debarquement syndrome from an airplane. Luck doesn't follow me.
We are definitely not against medication when it’s needed. Your numbers seem to be high and it should definitely be addressed by your general practitioner. A combination of whole food plant-based as well as medication may be what’s needed. It’s important that your physician ,who knows the specifics of situation, helps guide you in that journey. Much love to you in this journey!
I have always had high cholesterol. All my family had, my mom and dad's. I'm tall and thin just like my family, don't eat a lot of fat or carbs, little sugar, practice exercises. And it doesn't affect my cholesterol level
You should definitely follow it closely, and if it’s possible to lower the LDL below 70 work through diet as it’s been shown to have long-term effect on cognition and other vascular phenomenon.
In terms of diet, you may want to include foods that help the body clean up cholesterol: beans, oats etc. Some experts advice eating both daily!
If that doesn't help enough, you may want to start on cholesterol lowering drugs that your physician may want to prescribe.
How can a person lower the LDL cholesterol?
By eating a diet, low in saturated, fat, and sugar, but there are occasions that people have familial, high cholesterol, where they have to take medication. Irrespective, if you have high cholesterol, you should definitely be seen by a physician to work with you to lower it, as it significantly increases one’s risk of dementia and strokes.
@@TheBrainDocs thank you so much for your reply!
@@CelestesWorldcwshe had given you terrible advice.
LDL cholesterol is much more complicated than what is commonly known, even by many who have special education in this field:
The LDL particle size, and determining if the LDL is oxidized or not, are just some of the right questions you have to ask, see also:

P.S. High LDL is a sign of strong immunity,
Respectfully, this is absolutely garbage science. We do the research both at the clinical, and nutritional level. We’ve done the peer review data analysis. There’s absolutely no meaningful evidence that the brain needs exogenous cholesterol. Just two months ago we finished a comprehensive review which was published in American journal of lifestyle medicine that the only fats, the brain needs exogenously, is omega-3‘s. The rest is just self confirming science pushed by invested parties. Much love!
@@TheBrainDocs Translated in ordinary people speak: our body makes the cholesterol the brain needs, we don't need to get it from our diet. Getting cholesterol from our diet is unnecessary.
