- "Veni Sancte Spiritus" is a mystical prayer, used to achieve unity with the Divine Spark that lies deep within you. Today, after seeing spiritual and religious core truths corrupted and externalized to such an extent, it's nessecary to emphasize and reclaim this original understanding that can be found in almost every mystical tradition on earth. It's not about external things, but about you connecting with the Divine Dimension, hidden deep in yourself, overcoming the actual state of lower ego. Once this inner connection is made, its higher forces illuminate ones being and liberate from illusion, disconnection and external control. It's about time to reclaim what is ours.

I am Protestant, but do wish we had continued (from earlier Catholic roots) this music in our worship services. Very inspiring , soulful music.

I came into Christianity from a personal nudge from Jesus saving me from deception - when I was not Christian I sure would not turn to it by someone like that saying all those things to me. I would have opened my heart through genuine kindness, beauty and love of a Christian. The above message was neither. So thank you for stepping up and sharing your thoughts.

I’m Roman Catholic, I’m encouraged every time I’m surrounded by people who have a great picture of how things should look in the spiritual realm of life. God grows in us as we spend time with Him. I’ve always loved listening the Gregorian Chants as it creates in me a powerful atmospheric spirit to direct me requiring God’s deep love and comfort;’ coz it inspires me to feel freely and generously showing god’s compassion wž others, as we share kindness towards one another, we can be confident that we will experience greater life still!
Latin is beautiful, romantic and very mystic..this music is very soothing to the soul....it speaks to the almighty

Sublime, I can't stop listening! Keep on keeping on what you're doing. God can heal the earth through music! You are drawing down His Holy Spirit and his Angels through sounding the Sound and the Word! Sound creates and uncreates! (scientific proven by Hans Jenny Swiss scientist = Cymatics) . And in the beginning God "SAID": "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" And there was Light! God used the spoken Word to create! Every major world religion has its foundation in sounding the sound to harmonize, to bring down Divine Energies into the physical realm, to offset all negativity. Song, music to heal as a very effective healing modality, has been suppressed. You are changing that! This is your mission and you are fulfilling it sublimely!

This is the kind of stuff that made a younger me want to become Catholic, but there are elements of superstition that prevented me from taking the leap. I've explored Gnosticism and Lutheranism, and found both to be wonderful, as well...
Hi. I was a Lutheran for 50 years - and there is so much missing in Lutheranism. It denies the holy Tradition and also it has corrupted the Eucharist, to not be the flesh and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It is in fact a heresy and very dangerous to the salvation of our soul.
Gnostisism is also a heresy, even worse, because it is denying that Christ came in the flesh.
Catholicism is the only true religion, founded but Christ himself. It is also for you.

I wasn't raised in a religious family, and spent thirty years studying various religions and mythologies, with a bit of time spent among the Lutherans, but I remain unconvinced of any salvific or transformative power of Judeo-Christian myth, compared to that of any other belief-system. As I said, there are superstitious traditions within Catholicism that I see more commonly among people with pre-existing anxiety or obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Have you read any of the authors who discuss mystical religions and drug-use? Why did you choose Christianity over Hinduism or neo-Gnosticism?
What have I said to "divide Christianity," when the divisions are interdenominational already?
I ask merely because, not having grown-up in a church, and not being inclined to drug-use and calling it "spiritual," I don't have any stake in the game. I use Wiccan ritual or drumming as frameworks for Jungian Shadow-work and other praxes, and can pick and choose from many mythologies. I admired Francis of Assisi and Hildegard of Bingen, and they both really made me contemplate Catholicism as well, but as I said in the first post, there are superstitious activities that don't sit well with me.
