      I know what you mean! The Moody Blues were another who were appreciated on the Continent more than their native UK! Loads of great video from those countries.

      Roy Wood is the enigma of rock n' roll history, why that guy isn't as big as he should be is a mystery to me, he is an absolute songwriting genius. He should've stayed in ELO for a few more records, they would've dominated the 70s. Fu*k*ng Don Arden.

    I was fortunate to see this line up live when they toured with Jimi Hendrix in the Autumn of 1967. A very polished live band.

      @@paulkraynak5604 Pink Floyd were one of 7 bands on that tour and by far the worst. Their act consisted of just feedback and screeching. Awful. All the gear and no idea!!

    Ace Kefford was the coolest guy in that band and also had the best voice.

      Indeed! ....and the band sadly went downhill after he was forced out , due to some LSD induced problems . Kefford was a shining st⭐r that burnt out too fast .

    I've always thought it was Roy Wood doing the chorus part never realized till seeing this it was Ace Kefford really glad I came here, and no matter which one of them was singing it, still a classic song :)

    I never noticed at the time that Carl Wayne was stuck in the groove of repeating a single move he must have admired from Jagger's routine ...with that voice he can be forgiven :-)

    This song was the group's debut single. It was a Number 2 hit in the UK and a Number 6 hit in Ireland in January 1967.

    The original Move - great band from Birmingham, saw them at the Plaza in Handsworth twice, first time was when Night of Fear had just been released. Often saw Chris and Trevor at local clubs and pubs where they'd gone to see other local bands.

      glenn h Friedmann This was really common in the 60s. Seen lots of footage with the dancing girls. Really distracting, but it was the fashion then.
