- I hope you guys enjoyed tagging along with me to the Thrift store & checking out todays Thrift Haul & Thrift Flips. Is there a limit to how many times you can go thrift shopping in a day?
We thrifted a nightstand and flipped it into a Mid Century Modern moody piece! We made a renter friendly wall sconce out of a $2.00 bowl, & Upcycled a towel drying rack into a rack for my coffee table books!

That’s a vintage quilt rack. We have several in our family. It held several quilts. First rule of second hand shopping, stick it in your cart till the end and decide! Wonderful video. Just discovered your channel and binge watching.

First video of yours I’m about to watch but had to leave this comment about the wooden piece you weren’t sure of it’s use at the beginning, asap lol. While you definitely could use it for drying towels, it’s actual use is for hanging quilts. My Mom explained to me that in many days past, when a young couple was married, their community came together and made them a quilt for a wedding gift. They could be made out of fabrics from sentimental clothing, scripture or a family tree etc. The wedding quilt was kept on this as decor and a nice way for the community to see their handiwork...without having to enter the private bedroom. Hope this helps. Also, I’m Canadian so not entirely sure if this tradition was an old school Canadian thing
