I'm not a Johnny Marr fan, but this performance is really an embarrassment to both of them.
I'm a fan of both Marr and Johnson, but I don't think Johnson's vocal range matches this song.
I love them both and have to agree with you.
I think it's perfect because Matt Johnson has that voice that has an unusual and creepy in a good way vibe which makes the lyrics to the song sound cool and unsettling. A perfect choice.
