I flew Finnair Bangkok to London via Helsinki in June. They upgraded me to a comfort economy seat on both legs and it was the best economy flight I've experienced. Returning to Bangkok in 2 weeks and looking forward to another great flight(s).
ive just booked the same route to go in april chose business and then premium economy because of price but it looks good so im hoping for a good flight
@@craigj4979 I've booked with EVA for my next flight to UK and back. Flying PE to UK, then BC back to Bangkok (as it's overnight flight). EVA and Finnair are my 2 favourite airlines.
I’m really impressed with the amount of detail you all go into. I have doubts about that business class seat though, and could feel my back start to hurt just looking at it!
I flew in the new business class of Finnair back in May and the seat was actually very comfortable. I was seriously impressed with it and actually prefer it over the previous one they had. The pillows are very supportive even though they are soft and you can adjust your position with them to suit your exact needs.

Flew finnair to London and back from Bangkok last week and have to agree, airport and business class experiences were amazing! Will be flying them again for sure.
The best thing about flying Finnair to BKK is indeed the very fast speedy check in, sécurity and custom procedures due to the relatively small airport site and the fait they have Thai staff on their Thailand bound flights.
As always a wonderful flight report, thanks so much for doing it! Wanted to try out the new Business product from SIN but with a few reports it looks a bit hard on the back and narrow on the foot well.

I've flew with Finnair on a long haul flight from Helsinki to Tokyo and then Tokyo back to Helsinki after spending 2 weeks in Japan, that has been my best and most favourite long haul flight I've ever done. The food and drinks in Economy really exceeded my expectations. Finnair is the best airline I've flown with soo far... Great video review as well lads and love the music choices 🎉
Flew business from Singapore to Helsinki on out recent trip from Australia to the UK, loved the new business class seats and i agree the airport was really nice and the lounge was great, couldn't fault my experience with them.

Enjoyed the side by side by side comparisons. Several months ago, we booked a nonstop MIA-ARN biz class flight on Finnair for later this year. We were looking forward to our window herringbone seats, and just hope we like these new ones on such a long flight without any mid-recline position possible.
I loved this! FINALLY proper and professional review & comparison in between different classes... and so on. Just loving it! ❤ I think I am not the only one tired of these snobbish and boring "business/first class so called tests". 🤮 Please, tell me I am not the only one? And yes, Finnair is the cleanest, most safest (check the stats) and modern airlane out there. So, great job guys!
Doing a same-flight comparison of the classes is by far the best! I would not be comfortable in the non-reclining business class seats, so I'd have to fly PE. Although this was a relatively short trip, I'm surprised at the lack of good catering. The Finns are great cooks, and their bread is to die for!
I fly from Finland to France and back several times a year and because finnair does not fly to Nice during winter i take Lufthansa or KLM - they feed u with decent food even in economy which is included in the ticket price which is cheaper than finnair. One flight is like 1 hour and still they give u food ( there is no direct flight to Nice during winter)
I see many people being sceptical about the non reclining business class seat. I was too in the beginning but after trying it out it is actually very comfortable and with the pillows you are provided you can adjust the seat to really suit your needs. Overall it is way better than the old one and after trying it out I don’t really miss the lie-flat position of the old seat. I think people should really give this revolutionary design a chance before skipping it out.

Thanks for sharing. I just flown & returned on Finnair to Europe last week. Up on Premium & return on economy. Long haul. Great ambience & fabulous cabin ambience. PE is definitely a winner. Economy can be better especially on the meal. Love their signature blueberry drink. Had flown on their old A350 biz before. Great in all ways. Another point to consider improving is to have free check-in bag for their long haul economy flights please.

I was on a Finair A350 a few times before,but the one without premium economy class.The seat in business class was a big difference btw the one I sat and this one. But I think the old one is better
I'm not sure I would pay for that non-reclining J seat; I tend to love a position that is somewhere between fully upright and lie-flat. Soft product is fine enough though this is a short-haul so it's difficult to say for long-haul. This particular multi-cabin comparison would be much more valuable on a long-haul flight, I think.
Firstly I love watching your channel and look forward to new videos to watch. I recently flew Business Class from Helsinki to New York in an A330 300 (fitted with the new seat). In your video you mention no priority check in counter at Helsinki on the day you flew, however there was a priority check in counter the day of my flight. I loved the new seat. Being a day flight (departing Helsinki at 13:10) I didn't use the full flat feature but did curl up in the shell to watch movies and found the seat very comfortable. I was really impressed. About 8 weeks earlier I flew Finnair from Bangkok to Helsinki in an A350 with the old Business Class seat. I much preferred the new seat.
Love Finnair! Flew long-haul with them from Chicago to Helsinki back in January, it's absolutely worth it! Wish they would expand to some more destinations in the US (where I'm from), but they just expanded to Dallas, so I'm excited to fly with them again.

ou should have arrived at the airport by train.... it is the most amazing train station that feels about a kilometre underground! We loved the "non-reclining" J seats flying HEL-SIN 🙂

Im short at 5'3 and really love the fact that if I am lucky enough to get 3 seats to myself I can put the arm rest up and enjoy the space :) the hard arm rest in PE would not make me very comfy in that sense long haul.. and the business not having a tv that tilts down for viewing is weird.. ive see business Finnair before with lie flats and even tho shes a beautiful airline.. I am not a fan of the layout :( Stick me in Economy or business on the old planes ... lol either way.. I love these videos :D

Got moved from SAS to finnair my first time going the Helsinki after a flight cancellation. First time flying business too. It was amazing, I was so upset when SAS didn’t have blueberry juice on my way home. Miss blueberry juice so much ToT
It’s because A330s and A350s are often used by Finnair (A350s) and Iberia (both) for both cargo (to make revenue) as well as transfer higher numbers of passengers to their oneworld hubs; particularly since most long haul arrives into London Heathrow between 5-7am and the A350 Finnair plane departs London for Helsinki at 10am. Same with Iberia.
It is due to the current high cargo prices, the closure of Russian airspace and the Covid restrictions still in place in China that flying to Europe with the A350 is the only viable way to utilize it.
I'm very fond of Finland and eager to fly with their national airline, however this business class seat isn't too inspiring. I'd be surprised if it didn't quickly prove quite unpopular. It aches just watching it.
Awesome as always guys! Loved the music - Team Points Guy UK does it best. I think you should start every video off with a game of how you decide who gets to sit in which class? Darts? Cards? Flip of a coin? etc... Assuming that it doesn't conflict with UA-cam guideline ;)
Love the blueberry juice. I’m surprised you didn’t say anything about the unique glassware in business class. I’m not sure I would like the new business class as I didn’t particularly care for the last one at 7 feet tall I need a longer bed and thought a Finnish or Nordic airline would of delivered a longer bed.
so that extra "storage/cubby", if I am not mistaken, is for you to place your personal hand held device to watch what ever you have downloaded, hence in Premium, there is a USB socket as well

The Moomin Cafe probably doesn't have any Moomin mugs because they'd be stolen in a heartbeat. They're ridiculously popular collectors' items in Finland and can fetch big sums of money.

Long haul eco could have check in bag, as long as your tix is not the "light" type.

At 6" 1', economy was a terrible experience. Zero leg room, my knees were touching the front seat the entire time.

I really like the way you film these videos! I flew Finnair's premium economy and business in the old a340 some 6-7 years ago. It's changed a lot since then! I still miss the a340's though

Got moved from SAS to finnair my first time going the Helsinki after a flight cancellation. First time flying business too. It was amazing, I was so upset when SAS didn’t have blueberry juice on my way home. Miss blueberry juice so much ToT

In Finland there is an outdoor terrace in almost every single coffe house you can find. And Finnish people absolutely love coffee.
Any flight they serve Sandels beer is a great flight 🍺
Strange how they use such a ultra long-haul and fuel efficient aircraft for these very short routes, almost seems a waste for the airline
It’s because A330s and A350s are often used by Finnair (A350s) and Iberia (both) for both cargo (to make revenue) as well as transfer higher numbers of passengers to their oneworld hubs; particularly since most long haul arrives into London Heathrow between 5-7am and the A350 Finnair plane departs London for Helsinki at 10am. Same with Iberia.
It is due to the current high cargo prices, the closure of Russian airspace and the Covid restrictions still in place in China that flying to Europe with the A350 is the only viable way to utilize it.

I'm very fond of Finland and eager to fly with their national airline, however this business class seat isn't too inspiring. I'd be surprised if it didn't quickly prove quite unpopular. It aches just watching it.

Love the blueberry juice. I’m surprised you didn’t say anything about the unique glassware in business class. I’m not sure I would like the new business class as I didn’t particularly care for the last one at 7 feet tall I need a longer bed and thought a Finnish or Nordic airline would of delivered a longer bed.
so that extra "storage/cubby", if I am not mistaken, is for you to place your personal hand held device to watch what ever you have downloaded, hence in Premium, there is a USB socket as well

Has Nicky been to the Moomin Cafe in Tokyo? There are giant Moomin plushes (like people sized). There's also Metsa in Saitama (near Tokyo) which is a Moomin theme park!
The Moomin Cafe probably doesn't have any Moomin mugs because they'd be stolen in a heartbeat. They're ridiculously popular collectors' items in Finland and can fetch big sums of money.
There is a priority check in and security available with personel.
