"Fishing rods, balloons, flags, and selfie sticks near overhead wires is dangerous"? Nice to see a modern updating of the old warning notice, although that would have to be a pretty big selfie stick
Yeah the HST’s do Cardiff to Taunton services & sometimes further towards Penzance. But only as short sets, 4 coaches. Not into London. All London services are the IET’s
Though a capital city station, "CDF" is still a TOC-managed station (TfW Rail) so Network Rail's asking permission / badge policy for taking photos / videos of trains doesn't apply. In fact, as part of the security there's basically a "don't hang around, either be a passenger *or* a spotter" policy in place!
Nice to see the electrification is done
Cannot beat the sound of a 37
Lovely HST
Dedicated to my 4 Classmates. Christine W. Jacobsen, Stationmaster Lisa, Lucia and Anniken
Doesn’t feel the same seeing HSTs with 4 coaches doing local services 😐
Great Video! What do you use to shoot this with?
Nice video

There was a black sign on the side of the pacers and class 153s. What was it ?
I think it's something about "A new future coming soon" or something.
only the Pacers have it
Why did that HST have 4 coaches only?
Because they’re used on local services to Taunton. Not intercity services now
Nice video and good variety, did you have any issues with filming from station staff here? Just wondered as I'm interested in visiting here one day.
I didn’t have any issues there was quite a few people around actually for the 37’s
The staff don't care about it there's always people filming.
