Better weather than Bristol, a fair amount of traffic & freight as well. Always nice to see a 67. The station & surroundings have certainly changed since I was last there in 2006. Many Thanks
With a complete mess up of some Welsh names but that's Tornado922 for you! You just know it's always going to happen at Cardiff Central or most other Welsh stations truth be told! 😂
Now would be a good time to do Merseyrail. 507/8's in their final days, 777's taking over and the Kirkby line extension to Headbolt Lane now open. I did it yesterday.
The two Northern 150's are on loan to Transport for Wales because of stock shortages and 170206 will eventually be passing over to East Midlands Railway, who have repainted all of the remaining sets currently over there since 170273 was transferred first and repainted almost straight away.
What I meant to say, is your two part transit crew video you got one of the mark four sets, although I don’t think that was in revenue learning service
The TFW WAG sets are well needed, (total of 8 sets) there is a plan to make them all 5 cars but TFW have discovered that the hard way. There should be a plan to get them on more diagrams in the near future and not just the current Manchester and once a day Holyhead train. When on earth they can sort out the problems to prevent a duo of 153s or 150s I wouldn’t have a clue but with the recent outgoing of the 175s it won’t help the situation any better
Not just a former Wrexham and Shropshire class 67s, they're also former Chiltern Railways locomotives as well because Wrexham and Shropshire merged into Chiltern Railways cause of a financial crisis with the company.
Exactly plus out of the 5 67s they liveried for it only 4 was named, 012 A Shropshire Lad, 013 Was the Welsh name for a canal, 014 Thomas Telford and 015 David J Lloyd. 010 spent three years out of service with motor issues but was due to be named William Shakespeare. Plus have you noticed that one number missing 011, she was due to be part of the team of WSMR but never did. Don't know the reason why and that's why now when DBS was taken over by DRS in 2015 as the 67s produced 60% more fuel on the network plus noise level when stabling at Marlybone and overnight stabling. Skip 67012 is the one and only former WSMR hired loco still carries the livery to this day since being took over by the DRS Cat 68s. Bit of history there.
Fantastic video as ever just a bit of assistance for the Welsh pronunciations Radyr is Rader, Merthyr Tydfil is Mer-ther Tidfil,Bargoed is Bargoid,Ystrad Mynach is Ahstrad Muhnach and Rhymney is Rumney Hope that helps for future Cardiff videos 😊
Not quite, the have a different exhaust system, a top speed of 90mph, are Diesel only but can be retrofitted as Bi-mode and have a much more commuter style interior for the South Wales metro services they work
So Jarred, I hear you need new pairs of ears. Well, why don't you come to the states to see and I provide you a pair of new ears complete with a new hearing system for just 10 quid. Deal or no deal??
Brilliant video.
Nice ! Greetings from France !

The weather was on my side for once!
Hi Tornado922. Great film at Cardiff Central. Looking forward to watching your next film at Dusseldorf. Kind regards, Chris.
Thanks very much Chris!
Another excellent video. Nice one. 😀
Thanks very much!
That disco pounding away in the middle distance was going well - good job you didn't get a copyright hit for that!
It was playing last time I was there aswell!
Btw love the video.

I hadn't actually given it much of a thought I'll be honest

Ah right ok, thanks for the info
the 165s are working to Portsmouth Harbor
Good video!
Thanks very much
Class 67 👍😊
I think you mean, may be in revenue learning service. You’ve got one last year in your video crew where you got the living room: 7:25
😮 your actually pronunciations of th Welsh towns is correct except for the one haven't heard of until this video
I just keep getting better haha
Next, if u can do a video at East Croydon that would be great.
I'll get that done at some stage this year
I don't remember Cardiff Central being on the South Western mainline
It isn't. It's on the South Wales Mainline
What I meant to say, is your two part transit crew video you got one of the mark four sets, although I don’t think that was in revenue learning service
I suspect that's what I meant
Fideo da! (Good video in cymreag/Welsh)
Thank you :)

They do need to do a lot more in getting their long distance trains running more frequently
Great video with the 231s abd mk4 sets, unfortunately no 197s about or 756s on test but thats just how it is sometimes
I was still happy with what I caught that day :)

😅 the only form of air conditioning is an open door for the 67s and most diesels is an open door cause they don't have fans
does anyone know where the best place to stand is if i was to go trainspotting at peterborough?
I think the London end of the P4 would be the best

Thank you kindly for the added info, although I fear I'll still get them wrong next time I'm here haha
7:05 its not the first time youve filmed the 67's you filmed 1 at crewe a couple of years back
I think I meant it was the first time I had caught a TFW MK4 set in revenue earning service
are the 231's just a diesel version of the 755s?
Not quite, the have a different exhaust system, a top speed of 90mph, are Diesel only but can be retrofitted as Bi-mode and have a much more commuter style interior for the South Wales metro services they work
@@The_Grand_Autismo1 ah ok thank you
