Rikki Sjoeberg thanks 🙏 for sharing those positive vibes!!! I can feel it 👍. I’m also going to expose this whole 100% immersion technique. It’s BS! More coming soon!! Thanks 🙏.
Camden, I've been following your progress on UA-cam for quite some time and have never posted. I am very impressed with your work ethic. You are a hard working person and very optimistic and positive. That will pay off big time in the long run. Tapping into learning Mandarin is super smart as well as teaching online for Chinese students. I started learning Chinese in 1981, long before you were born. I have an Asian Studies BA from the University of Oregon and I'm planning on coming to Chiang Mai in October or maybe even September. Online learning in China and Taiwan has really taken off. You have a really good voice and accent. Its very distinct. Your pronunciation is very clear. You smile. You care. Big ticket items for success. I'm taking my TEFL class through Oxford Seminars in Portland, Oregon in July. Are you familiar with them? I'm super excited for the transition. You are one of my "guides" and I want to thank you for your support and encouragement in the past few weeks. You are an inspiration to me. Best regards, Joel Lupro, Age 55, Tigard, OR
+Joel Lupro Thanks so much for the awesome message. I've been a bit busy so it's taken me a few days to get back to you. However I appreciate you sharing your information with me and that's pretty amazing that you started learning Chinese in 1981. How did you find out that China and Taiwan are moving more and more to online English studies? Yes, I have heard of Oxford seminars.
I am in some closed FB groups, one being Northern English Teachers in Chiang Mai. I see several postings a week talking about online instruction for Chinese students. Plus you made a youtube video youself about palfish that I thought was interesting.
Joel, Thanks for taking the time to post this. As someone who is just about to head over to Thailand, and is trying to sort out the youtube folks who are legit from the wankers, it helps to hear from folks who seem to have a clue and who are not associated with the poster.
Good work mate and some useful insights. Well worth learning a little bit about the culture and language before relocating as it´ll make integration so much easier. It´s tough getting all your official documentation sorted in government offices where nobody speaks English so the more prepared you are the better.
Tom Davidson it’s really not so difficult. Just make sure that you have money coming in like teaching online and a side of saving money for emergencies. There are many countries over here in Southeast Asia and it is possible.
Tom Davidson knowing the language will just give you more insight about the culture and also prepare you in certain situations in a new environment. Are you a teacher on Palfish?
Camden Long I’m not registered on Palfish although online teaching may be something I’ll look at as I’ve seen a few teachers such as yourself making a success of it. I’m based in Spain so I’m more used to interacting with students from here but the beauty of the internet is that one can connect with a global market!
Tom Davidson I say go for it now before it’s too late. Every day that you wait it’s going to be more competitive. Trust me. Use my link in the description and apply today.
just watched your video! hopefully I can get a tefl certificate soon coz ive been planning to go to South America! hope to see you this coming Songkran festival too! btw im from Philippines
Sam Diego Hello and good evening. Thanks so much for watching my video and I hope that you can get your certificate soon also. Which countries would you like to teach in as far as South America goes? Make sure to send me a message on Facebook so we can link up for the festival. Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out. Please take a second to answer my questions. Also, are you looking to do the certification online or in person?
You don't need a bachelors to actually secure a job teaching TEFL? You can just practice your grammar and take a TEFL certification course like the Language House in Prague and then pray you secure something consistent so you can continue to live abroad? Probably the most expensive is your ticket, your TEFL certification and paying for a work Visa? Thanks so much for your video...I know lots of questions!!!

Hello Camden! I am looking into getting my TEFL certification and teaching English in Asia. I am wondering if you have any thoughts on getting certified through a university rather than an actual TEFL organization? Are there any upsides or downsides?
Hello and greetings. You can get your TEFL certification through a university but it’s not necessary. If you get a certification completed through a university then it could look more prestigious on a resume but that’s about it. Companies and schools just want to see that you have completed an accredited TEFL/TESOL certification course and have your bachelors at minimum. After those two basic requirements are met, it’s going to come down to your personality, ability to instruct, and to pass a lesson demo which is essentially the interview for many online ESL companies. If you have any other questions just let me know. Have a great 👍 day.
It’s great that you realize you have a desire to travel abroad. Now you need to set a plan of action into effect. You can email me for more information. legrandlong@gmail.com
Hi Camden. I have just started the TEFL course. I have no experience. Also a Christian too. My intention is to teach online. I would really like your feedback. I would like to teach in Bali at some point. Saudi maybe too. Let me know if you are open to chatting about this. Any help would be good. I signed up with the UK i-toi online. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I am interested in teaching English online and read the reviews on the TEFL website. As well as reading the 4 and 5 star reviews, I also read the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews which there are many pages of. From the terrible experiences people have shared, I am not convinced that using TEFL is a good idea.
Thanks for sharing, which is which, is it Online English Teaching or Classroom Teacher which one is better. Also before taking TELF I want to know. Thanks maarn
Hello, Camden! I'm from the Philippines and planning to teach English in Vietnam or Laos. I've got around 4 years experience teaching Social Science to college students and around 8 months of teaching English to Koreans here in my country. I plan to take a TEFL course online but I'm afraid of getting scammed. What would you recommend?
travel bug To be honest, that is up to you. I got my certification in person in 2009. I can’t give you any personal advice with this because it is not my area of expertise. You just need to do some research and decide on a course that suits you and what feels right.
travel bug you are highly qualified but you definitely need that certificate before you go abroad and apply. Thanks 🙏 for checking out my videos and all the best. You can also add me on Facebook!
Patryna's Writings that's a wonderful idea. Now the APP language world is exploding. I mostly had experience with nice talk and an independent company from Beijing last year. Other than that and some side jobs, I've been supporting PalFish since the beginning. Then in December, I became more popular on PalFish and decided to go full-time. I did not feel that nice talk was innovating for the teachers and making things better. On the other hand PalFish is the best ever. Thanks so much for watching my videos and I'll think about doing a big review video featuring pros and cons. Thank you for the idea.
What are the next steps once you have secured a position in a particular country; for instance, when/how do you find a place to live, if you’re in the states and cannot go and see your options (flats/apartments)? Also, Is housing ever provided for you by the schools?
Well, if you found a position, the school or organization ought to be helping you with accommodation, airport pick up, and many other issues. What country are you looking to go to? I can offer advice and tips. In fact, what is your email address? I have time this week to set up a zoom meeting if you are interested. Let me know.
@@CamdenLong hi Camden...actually, haven’t begun the job search process yet, because of a certain civil suit I’m involved in. My attorney has advised me to not leave the country until we have a settlement offer or finish at trial. All of that will not likely end until end of January 2022, or the latest March of 2022. Once that has been completed, I can begin my job search. I just was asking because I wanted to get a head start on planning my next career change. I’ve already been through the Oxford Course for English teaching. I have a Bachelor’s Degree, and I’ve taught as a substitute teacher from elementary level to middle, and high school. I did have teacher certification in the past in state of Florida, but never able to secure a position at that time, for lack of job availability (circa 2007-2009 real estate crash cut teaching positions drastically in Florida). I don’t want to waste your time, since I’m technically not ready to search yet, however, here is my email address: flyboyroger1970@yahoo.com Still would love to pick your brain, since it appears you’ve been doing this a while. I was contemplating on doing the online teaching, just to get my juices flowing again, work out the kinks.
@@roger1296 If you are ready for an opportunity with online teaching on Palfish Then let me know. My email address is in the description of this video.
Goabroad, gives a good list of tefl orgs, I like bridge as they are accredited by an org the US Department of education recognizes, but tefl premeir is also a good one according to goabroad,
Chris Sabre I personally don’t believe accreditation means that the service and training is any better. In fact if it’s connected with US Department of Education then there’s always an agenda behind that whole thing. The Virginia department state of education fired me and I can no longer teach in the state of Virginia. That just says everything about how corrupted the education system is in America. I’m not familiar with tefl premier but all I know is I’m going to promote my tefl course because it’s the best online certification course that anyone can find on the Internet. Everything else that’s offered online or in person is just a cut copy of what everybody else is doing with little variation. I have insight and are doing things that no one else is doing right now in the tefl teaching world. Are you an experienced teacher? How did you find my videos here? Have a great day and I really look forward to hearing back from my questions.
Palfish is no more. Start on Amazing Talker:en.amazingtalker.com/teacher-invitation/Co6pFJWpmceti7yXghxoKaSc If you have any questions, let me know here.
Hi camden. I just kinda got interested into this whole TEFL thing. So I'm about to take up a 120 hour course. The thing is I have a tattoo in my arm. Would this be a minus point to get a TEFL job?
The Silicon Oracle you can wear long sleeve shirts for interviews and even perhaps the first week or two but once people know who you are at the school and feel comfortable, you can try a short sleeve. I don’t think it will be that big of an issue. Good luck 🍀. Where do you wanna teach tefl?
This video is kind of old but thought I’d see if I could get a response. I am looking into teaching in China (one of their first tier cities). I will have a degree from a top 50 university and have a good gpa. I have no teaching experience and will get my TEFL certificate. My questions are which online course should I take? I am from a small town and cannot go to a city to take the course. And would it be possible with my qualifications to get a job in a tier one city like Shanghai or Shenzhen? I know you might not be an expert on China specifically but thought I’d ask. Not expecting a reply but will post anyway!! Thank you and great video!!!
Camden, thank you so much for making this video! I know nothing of TEFL (aside from what I've learned from a few youtube videos lol) but I am interested. I'm a junior in college studying Communications... would the fact that my degree is not in teaching be ok?? Also, do you know where I can look to receive a TEFL certification online?
Mona Ray hello and thank you so much for cooking in the mail video and also taking the time to reach out. You don’t need a degree in teaching. You just need a four year degree and a TEFL certification completed. With those two qualifications and credentials then you will be able to get really good job positions. Do you want to teach English online or are you looking to teach English abroad in a new country? BTW. You can do both.
Mona Ray if you are really serious about getting paid to teach English online then you can complete your TEFL certification online with me. I first recommend that you add me on Facebook and send me a quick message on Facebook messenger. Please give me your email address and then I can send you a copy of the Certification course book with rubric guidelines including units 1 to 6. You get practical teaching hours, live video chat with me, and step-by-step instructions. You will be fully equipped with all the knowledge, skills and experience to teach English online and get paid. Since you are a native English speaker, you could be an official kids course teacher!! When you finish the course online, I will mail you the certificate with my stamp, approval and signature.
Mona Ray The best thing about my online course is that I’m not going to bore you to death with module after module and not going to be teaching you grammar. My course is interactive, engaging and every hour is proactive.
Can you do this at any age? I am 37 but both my children will be grown by the time I'm 42. I would like to travel and possibly live in Thailand. Is this a possible option? I don’t have any previous degrees.
Hey Tommie! Thank you for taking the time to check out my video. You can definitely do this. Typically, schools are looking for teachers around the ages of 22 to 50 years old. At the same time, once you have built up a good reputation in the TEFL world then schools will want to keep you. Thailand is a great place to start your teaching career. Also consider Laos and Cambodia. What are some reasons you want to live in Thailand? You will need to get a TEFL or TESOL certificate. Would you ever consider to getting your bachelors degree online? Let me know and I can continue helping you. Looking forward to your next message. You can also email me at: legrandlong@gmail.com Thanks 🙏✌️ Have a wonderful day!
Hi thank you for this video. Really helpful. However a small query. I am an Indian. Can you share your views if only english speaking teachers are preferred or are we also accepted if we are certified?
Hey hope you're well. If you get this I want your opinion. I don't have a bachelor degree. I was born in England speak English fluent. If I do a TEFL do I have a good chance getting a job?

Mr Camden. I'm an 21 year old female from Morocco. I've graduated in 2021at the uni, majoring in English literature. I've also started my wonderful journey in tecahing in my hometown. I always had that big dream of teaching students from all around the world 😁 when can this become possible? Do I need more requirements to teach abroad aside from my bachelor degree? I would be very thankful to receive your answer ✨
You need a bachelors degree or even a masters in some cases. If you have a masters, then you will make much more money and be able to teach at international schools. However, you will still have great options with a bachelors and a TEFL certification completed. Where are you looking to teach English abroad?
@@CamdenLong I haven't decided yet , but probably I would like to start my journey in Brazil ☺️. I wanted to apply for south Korea but I can't get a visa since I'm not a native speaker. First of all , I need to have TEFL certification. Thank you so much for your time !!
I never did go to university or college, does Canadian Trade Certification AKA, Welder, Steamfitter count as post secondary education when applying for teaching work abroad?
Brandon Reinhardt If you want to teach at a school then having a bachelors helps a lot. However if you are for my native English speaking country then you could still get a teaching position at a school. With some online companies you need a degree. Some companies do not need a degree. What are you exactly looking to do? Teach at a school or teach online? Let me know 😃
Hi Cadmen!!! I would really like to teach English to kids!!!! I know I need to take a TEFL course but I don't know which is the best solution between an online TEFL course or a TEFL school. Online TEFL courses are much cheaper than the school....but how can I know if the online one is recognized or not? What do the employers prefer when it comes to hire a TEFL teacher? Thank you very much!!!
Jennifer Barison you need to make sure the online certification is accredited. It doesn’t really matter. If you’re a good teacher then you will get hired.
I am planning on moving to Vietnam or Thailand in January, ive looked at flights and thy are between $500-$1,000 USD. A lot of blogs and videos talk about it being easier to get a job if you are already in the country. DO you have recommendations on how much to save before moving to South East Asia? I've also seen some companies take a month or 2 in the beginning to pay?

Just looking into doing this now and have a bachelors degree in sport with teaching in modules, is a tefl all i need now to easily get into one of these jobs? I also have over a hear of experience in a school environment. Not got my PGCE yet tho is it required? Thanks
Hello Dylan. That is great that you have your bachelors degree. All you need to do is get your TESOL Certification from International Open Academy. The most affordable course and can be done rather quickly. No need to spend extra money on it. IOA is accredited with a certificate number. Are you looking to teach solely online or willing to teach abroad in Thailand?
International Open Academy is accredited, the most affordable, and fastest way to get your TESOL certification completed. All the best to you. If you have any further questions just let me know. Have a great 👍 day. 😃
Congratulations on starting your teaching journey. I don’t know about the laptop specifications. However, in 2014, I switched over to Apple and it was one of the greatest decisions of my life. Forget about the price tag. You are worth it. You can purchase Apple products. Apple products last longer, the software is amazing, excellent customer service, and everything syncs together effortlessly. That is my recommendation. Choose Apple. I still have an use the iPhone 6s that I bought in 2017. :). Over, I did buy the iPad Pro in 2019 to upgrade and take my career, education, and experience to the next level! In addition, if you need some further guidance with your TEFL Journey, I can provide assistance via Zoom. You can provide your email address here and I can contact you. Hello thanks for sharing! I am an Iranian English teacher love to teach abroad. Is TEFL suitable for me and am I allowed to have a TEFL certificate as a non-native tefl teacher?
Fafa You it’s always a bit more challenging for people coming from non-native English-speaking countries but it is still possible. Your best option is to work at a school in China.
Hey Camden, TEFL really interests me! I’m a senior in high school and don’t know how to get my career started. Do you have any advice on what I should do to get started, and make the smart moves?
Daniela hello and thanks for letting me know where you are in life. You sound positive and optimistic which is important. So the first thing you need to do is get your tefl certification course completed. Are you planning to go to college? Let me know and I will help you trace your future out more appropriately. 😃
Camden Long, thank you for responding! But yes, I do plan on going to college. Majoring in International relations actually interests me. I’m still thinking on what I should major though.
Daniela Well if you want to teach English abroad then having a Bachelors degree in anything is almost always acceptable in addition with your tefl certification course completion.
Hey Camden! Cool video, thank you. Recently, I have been checking my teaching English abroad options, and gladly just found your videos :) My question for you, if you will see this comment and have the time to reply :), is - have you met any TEFL teachers that are from the Middle East? The reason that I'm curious about this, is that I am from Israel, and I'm wondering whether one has to have an American/European citizenship in order to teach English abroad. I'm actually getting my English teacher's certificate this year, in Israel (not TEFL, just our country's teaching English B.A.), and I have been thinking quite a lot lately about going for that TEFL thing. So to sum up: 1. Thanks for your videos, they're great. 2. I would love to hear if you have met along your journey any middle-eastern teachers, and especially Israelis? 3. Oh - and another question haha - do you think/know if TEFL teachers can bring their dogs with them for this whole adventure - the course and teaching later on? Can't leave my Aussie shepherd behind :) Thanks a million and have a great weekend, Sasha.

Too bad to hear that you haven't encountered any Israelis so far, but who knows, maybe I'll be the first haha :) I'm currently checking additional info about the course, trying to decide where to do it, and trying to learn some more about employment opportunities for me later on the road. Regards, Sasha.

Hi Ajith. Thank you for supporting my channel and I appreciate your message here. The online English teaching world is now heavily regulated. Would you like to set up a zoom meeting so we can talk about options for teaching English in 2021?
Bolofinde Taiwo for starters you need to have a TEFL certificate. If you have a bachelors it’s going to help you out a lot almost necessary in most cases. If you need to schedule a free 30 minute strategy session with me then let me know.
Hey Camden, I'm a non-native English speaker, but my english is compatibly good. Is there any chances for me to get jobs from TEFL without a BA or MA degree?
Yashika Saxena must have a BA at minimum. MA will be much better of course. Most importantly you need a lot of teaching hours of experience inside a classroom with pictures. Volunteer somewhere. Schools need to see you teaching kids. Everything will help as evidence. 👍😁

Hi Camden Long! I'm a Nigerian and I'm interested in teaching English in Colombia or any other central America country. I have a bachelor in geology. However, I don't have any teaching experience except for my UA-cam video tutorials. Are Nigerians considered native speakers in terms of TEFL? Can I get an English teaching job without a teaching experience?
Hello there Magma Upwelling! Thank you so much for the support here on my UA-cam channel. I was in Costa Rica and Nicaragua both for a long time actually. Well, you have a Bachelors in Geology which is going to be helpful because just having that Bachelors is a minimum requirement in addition to having the accredited TEFL certification course completed. I don’t think Nigeria is considered a native English speaking country in the TEFL Teaching industry. You can get an English teaching job without teaching experience only if your voice is super clear based upon the standard American English accent or the standard British accent. As well as you would need to be able to answer specific questions about how to deal with student behavioral issues, classroom management, lesson planning, and parental communication. There really is a multitude of factors that would affect someone’s job opportunities in the TEFL world. Ideally, someone should have their Bachelors or Masters, an accredited TEFL or TESOL Certificate, with 1 to 2 years of teaching in a classroom or online teaching. Again, that is ideally. It really all comes down to your voice and ability to instruct one student or large groups of students at once. What age group are you looking to teach? Camden
@@CamdenLong Thank you so much for your reply. I don't know if my voice is clear enough to be considered an American accent or British lol. Here is a link to one of my UA-cam tutorial videos: ua-cam.com/video/ygrEMymH5kY/v-deo.html . I will love to hear your opinion/comment on my voice and accent. Where can you place my accent? Is it good enough to be considered a native speaker? If not, how can I improve it. I will love to adopt a simple British accent since Nigerians are not considered native speakers? I would love to teach any age group depending on the opportunity available, but preferably teenagers or adults. Thanks in advance for your reply, I appreciate it.
@@MagmaUpwelling Hello there Magma Upwelling! Thank you for the link. I’m really impressed. 😃 I admit that I have heard many people speak English from Nigeria and there is always a very strong accent present. No different than if I am speaking some of the native dialects in Nigeria. I’m sure my tongue will sound quite differently than the native speakers 😂. That’s the beauty of communication and all of the languages on Planet Earth. I love diversity and multiculturalism. You have much more of a neutral accent and with a little bit more awareness, you can improve and sound extremely close to the north American accent. You’re doing a really incredible job. Give yourself a lot of credit for everything that you are doing and have done in his life. Camden Long
@@MagmaUpwelling my recommendation is that you get your college or university bachelors degree translated into English entirely. Would you ever consider teaching middle school or high school in the United States of America? There are many rural areas that have a massive teacher shortage, always. It looks like you can teach math. Is this correct? Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response. 😃 Create a wonderful day for yourself. Camden Long
@@CamdenLong Thanks for the recommendation. I really appreciate it. I'm not sure about what you mean by "having my university bachelors degree translated into English". However, my bachelor's degree study was done in English, so it is in English. Except maybe you mean something else... And yeah, you are right; I'm good at math. So I can teach math in middle or high school in America if I have the opportunity. Tell me, how can I go about that? I'm open to learning new things and improving myself.
@@CamdenLong Thanks for your reply. Actually I recently enrolled for a TEFL course so that instuite is saying, once the TEFL course is done you need to appear for an examination and then after that only anyone will be known as a TEFL trainer and for that exam that instuite is saying for paying extra amount specifically. I had bit doubt on it so I Googled it and it's saying that only one need to complete the course and that's it. And even I asked 2 teachers regarding this.

Hello, I’m an Indian student who has done her bachelors in India in English literature and masters from the UK. Now im interested in doing this course so i wanted to know about job availabilities after completion of the course. Will it be easy or hard for me to get a job?
Hi there Very useful tips I am sure. I am Saudi and I have worked in Bahrain for 4 years. I don't think that's totally different than the situation in Saudi Arabia but still there are a few differences. However, I had to say something about your story about your friend in Saudi Arabia. With all due respect, your friend lied to you. Nobody cares if you have an afro here and there is no police for such things. I think you should check the stories you tell before telling them. I would. Good luck .
Hello there! I'm a BA holder, I also have a teaching certificate, and two years of experience teaching English. Is there any way I can find a job in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait? I'm Moroccan though.
I have been working as a teacher in India. I belonging to India. I want to join TEFL course in Thailand. Please tell be genuine school. Can I get good job there after completion of course. We're moving to Vietnam in 10/18. Most likely Saigon. We is myself and my parents. I have other things going on but my parents, who both have Masters, are interested in teaching English. The big thing is they are in their 60s. Do you think the age factor will work against them?
Brian Pan over 50 I would say it’s still difficult but possible, however 60 I’m really not sure. What about you? Are you a teacher? I would recommend for your parents to try to teach English online. Give me your email address and I can send you some links to get started.

You should ABSOLUTELY learn the language because how can you show someone how to learn your language when YOU CAN'T LEARN THEIRS? Good video, Camden👍
Rikki Sjoeberg thanks 🙏 for sharing those positive vibes!!! I can feel it 👍. I’m also going to expose this whole 100% immersion technique. It’s BS! More coming soon!! Thanks 🙏.
I disagree completely. You are mostly teaching students who have some basic knowledge of the English language, you are just furthering their growth...
I've heard that in Asian countries Tefl is accepted. But in Middle East and Europe Celta is more recognized. Is this true?
Hi can you recommend a good TEFL please?
This sounds like a dream

Mychael Winston well it definitely is my dream job and I really love it even though it’s not always easy! Do you have any teaching experience..?

@@CamdenLongwhen you say have your bachelor's degree at the minimum do you mean a degree in English or in teaching?

Hi, I am interested in teaching English online and read the reviews on the TEFL website. As well as reading the 4 and 5 star reviews, I also read the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews which there are many pages of. From the terrible experiences people have shared, I am not convinced that using TEFL is a good idea.
Since writing the initial comment, I have enrolled with another online TEFL company and am extremely happy with them. They are The TEFL Academy.
Great presentation. Thank-you.

Thanks a lot. have you did a review on all the online apps you taught on pros & cons?
Patryna's Writings that's a wonderful idea. Now the APP language world is exploding. I mostly had experience with nice talk and an independent company from Beijing last year. Other than that and some side jobs, I've been supporting PalFish since the beginning. Then in December, I became more popular on PalFish and decided to go full-time. I did not feel that nice talk was innovating for the teachers and making things better. On the other hand PalFish is the best ever. Thanks so much for watching my videos and I'll think about doing a big review video featuring pros and cons. Thank you for the idea.
By book a flight you mean for a vacation and apply while visiting right? Or are arrangements made before visiting?
I don’t want to waste your time, since I’m technically not ready to search yet, however, here is my email address: flyboyroger1970@yahoo.com
Still would love to pick your brain, since it appears you’ve been doing this a while. I was contemplating on doing the online teaching, just to get my juices flowing again, work out the kinks.

I'm actually getting my English teacher's certificate this year, in Israel (not TEFL, just our country's teaching English B.A.), and I have been thinking quite a lot lately about going for that TEFL thing.
So to sum up:
Can't leave my Aussie shepherd behind :)
Thanks a million and have a great weekend,
Sasha.
Hello 👋 and it’s really nice 👍 to meet you here. Thank you 🙏 for taking the time to write the message to me and I Do appreciate it. סשה קוסטובצקי. So, I have not met any Israeli 🇮🇱 teachers while traveling and living abroad. However, if you contact me on Facebook messenger then it’s much easier to address some of these questions that you have.
I’m really not sure about your dog. It’s probably going to depend on the rules of where you live. frסשה קוסטובצקי
סשה קוסטובצקי how did you find my videos on UA-cam?
Hi Camden :)
Thanks for replying!
I would have happily contacted you on FB, but I don't have a FB profile. (I'm a pretty normal person, just not a fan of FB :) ). However, my e-mail address is: sashayifat@gmail.com, and I would love to chat with you via mail if that's more convenient for you.
I have found your videos by looking on youtube for TEFL experiences videos, and yours caught my attention.
Too bad to hear that you haven't encountered any Israelis so far, but who knows, maybe I'll be the first haha :)
I'm currently checking additional info about the course, trying to decide where to do it, and trying to learn some more about employment opportunities for me later on the road.
Regards,
Sasha.
סשה קוסטובצקי to be honest with you, I don’t know how you are operating in this world without Facebook. Email is not a good way to keep in contact with me. If you are looking for English teaching jobs then you need to go on Facebook and search for those things because there’s thousands of jobs for you. Why don’t you use what’s available?
Do you need to have any experience Teaching?
I have zero and not done a TEFL Course.
Thanks 🙏
hi Bonnie!

Hey Camden! I am currently working towards my Bachelors degree (I have roughly 2 years until I'm finished). However, I`m considering taking a year off to teach English abroad. What is the likelihood of me landing a job with a TEFL org without a completed bachelors? Also - any solid recommendations for online TEFL courses? Thanks in advanced!
Hi Jacob. If you still want to teach English abroad, schedule your appointment with me here. calendly.com/legrandlong
What agencies/companies do you recommend to look into for teaching English in Southeast Asia, maybe in China, as a North American with a Bachelor of Education degree? Thanks in advance.
Rianna Follis thank you for watching my videos and I appreciate you taking the time to reach out. So you 100% have your sights set on China? What kind of weather do you prefer? Do you like large populations or smaller populations? Are you a vegan or vegetarian? All of those questions I asked you will have a huge impact upon your happiness abroad teaching. Please answer and I will look for it.
No we are open to options! I have taught in London, England so a large population is fine haha. Neither of us are vegan or anything.
Rianna Follis what is your email address?
When’s the best time to do tefl? I’m a middle college high school student, which means that I go to high s school on a community college campus, and will graduate high school with my AA degre. Do you recommend that I finish up the last two years of my bachelors degree before doing tefl? Or should I follow my dream right now and not spend two more years in school?
Keziah Dutt thank you 🙏 so much for your message I really do recommend you finish up your four year degree. Then it is behind you and you are always able to teach at a school in any country as well as teach online with any company Palfish is the best!! When do you turn 18? When you are 18, I can assist you with applying to Palfish. Feel free to add me on Facebook, same name as my UA-cam channel. Thanks 🙏 and blessings.
Thank you so much! That is really helpful. I turn 18 in about 2 years
Keziah Dutt so when you turn 18 get your certificate and start teaching English online. Until then enjoy your life and be a positive spirit in this world and don’t fall into the trap of demonic entities.
How about if we applied for online TEFL courses ?
Ra Jae you can do that. Just sure it’s accredited.
@@CamdenLong thanks Camden for your encouragement!
Hi which TEFL academy would you recommend, I'm from South Africa
Bontle M Mapela hello 👋 and greetings. I just saw your message and excuse the late reply. However are you still looking to get your TEFL certificate? I recommend that you click my link here and fill out a quick form. It’s a wonderful certification program and you can do it online. The director is even from South Africa also 😃

Is there a demand for teachers in foreign countries I am thinking of going into TEFL
Major demand right now for online teaching across the planet 🌏. All the best to you and have a great 👍 day.
Good smile...
Nandana Menon thank you 🙏
When you travel abroad are you alone or do you travel with other friend teachers?
Hi! Is it possible to get a job of ESL teacher if you're not a native English speaker?
Ive been teaching english for spanish speaking students in academies l need this certicate for teaching english in schools ld like to ask IS It an easy course to do ?
Where did you study TEFL
Dear Mr. Camden Long,
Thank you so much for this video. My name is Ajith. I'm from India. I wish to go abroad and teach English. I'm thinking of getting TEFL certification. But I'm worried that in many countries, schools would prefer a native English speaker. What do you think? Would be really grateful to get your reply.
Hope you and your folks are fine.
Yours Sincerely
Ajith
Hi Ajith. Thank you for supporting my channel and I appreciate your message here. The online English teaching world is now heavily regulated.
Would you like to set up a zoom meeting so we can talk about options for teaching English in 2021?
hello Sir, please would you spell that acronym 3.45 . thanks
Thank you
Do you need a degree or just the tefl certificate
Hi there.. I want to take an online TEFL course. would you please guide me which company or organization should I trust? and also which course should I take part in, 120h, 170h, or 240h?
azam eftekhari hello 👋 and thanks for reaching out. I would look up www.ninjateacher.com and search for Alex Stevenson for more info. He runs a TEFL school in Vietnam where they certify teachers. I really recommend. Or you can just take an online TEFL course. 120 is sufficient. 👍👍👍. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Don’t forget to subscribe. Thanks 🙏.
azam eftekhari where you from?
Thanks a million Cadmen🌷🌷
I'm from Iran..
azam eftekhari you’re welcome 😊.

You can click this link and fill out the quick form and someone will get back to you very shortly. By the way, do you have any teaching experience.? 😃
Well, you have a Bachelors in Geology which is going to be helpful because just having that Bachelors is a minimum requirement
in addition to having the accredited TEFL certification course completed.
I don’t think Nigeria is considered a native English speaking country in the TEFL Teaching industry.
You can get an English teaching job without teaching experience only if your voice is super clear based
upon the standard American English accent or the standard British accent.
As well as you would need to be able to answer specific questions about how to deal with
student behavioral issues, classroom management, lesson planning, and parental communication.
There really is a multitude of factors that would affect someone’s job opportunities in the TEFL world. Ideally, someone should
have their Bachelors or Masters, an accredited TEFL or TESOL Certificate, with 1 to 2 years of teaching in a classroom or online teaching.
I admit that I have heard many people speak English from Nigeria and there is always a very strong accent present.
Create a wonderful day for yourself.
Camden Long
@@CamdenLong Thanks for the recommendation.
Is it hard without a degree?
Could you please tell me after completing the TEFL course that person will be known as a TEFL trainer ?
Hi Arpita. After you complete your TEFL course then you will be a certified TEFL teacher.
Can you explain more? Who Will be known as a TEFL trainer?
@@CamdenLong Thanks for your reply. Actually I recently enrolled for a TEFL course so that instuite is saying, once the TEFL course is done you need to appear for an examination and then after that only anyone will be known as a TEFL trainer and for that exam that instuite is saying for paying extra amount specifically. I had bit doubt on it so I Googled it and it's saying that only one need to complete the course and that's it. And even I asked 2 teachers regarding this.
@@EnglishAcademyofArpita OK. All the best to you in your teaching journey!
I'm from India and I want to live in european country like Spain, France, Argentina and be TEFL teacher. Please tell me what job opportunities i will have in Europe.
How much do you get paid? You say it's inexpensive in the Asian countries but surely your salary must be lower then too?
Rehman Arshad I currently make $21.99 per hour.
Still viable?
Is palfish strictly for children? I would rather teach adults. Thanks.
Glad Burgio all ages!
Hello, I am Hardik from india and intrested in tefl program but want to know how to start. Can you please help me?
Hardik Limbachiya hello 👋 and greetings. Are you still looking to get your TEFL certification completed..?
I am an Indian and I am fluent in English. Is TEFL good for me? Is there opportunity for Indians too in this field?
Absolutely go for it! One of the best ways to travel
@@amaris5145 thanks for the advice and motivation. I'll definitely go for it.
Can you make more money if you have graduate degrees and years of teaching experience, and add a TEFL certificate to that?
northofyou33 you make what you put into it every day. That’s life.
This is so interesting :)

Hello, I’m an Indian student who has done her bachelors in India in English literature and masters from the UK. Now im interested in doing this course so i wanted to know about job availabilities after completion of the course. Will it be easy or hard for me to get a job?
Malisha B depends on your accent and you need a TEFL certificate. Teaching in China or Vietnam is the best option.
don`t really have an accent, thank you!
I want to it I am very good in english, but my spelling.is.not very good is that relevant??
Danie Wouter relevant to what?
To the TEFL level 1 course
Hi there
Very useful tips I am sure. I would. Good luck .
Mohammed A thank you 🙏 for your message and I appreciate your advice. Have a great 👍 day.
Hello there! I'm a BA holder, I also have a teaching certificate, and two years of experience teaching English. Is there any way I can find a job in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait?

We're moving to Vietnam in 10/18. Most likely Saigon. We is myself and my parents. I have other things going on but my parents, who both have Masters, are interested in teaching English. The big thing is they are in their 60s. Do you think the age factor will work against them?
Brian Pan over 50 I would say it’s still difficult but possible, however 60 I’m really not sure. What about you? Are you a teacher? I would recommend for your parents to try to teach English online. Give me your email address and I can send you some links to get started.
I'm an artist/ painter. If you can send me some stuff: brianfpan@gmail.com - I'll be sure to hand it over to my parents. THANK YOU.
