Yes, and the mechanism behind the scenes is actually the reason why Jak trips when rushing the Bird Lady house @ 5:00. Jack trips whenever the game needs to load assets but you're moving too quickly.
as far as the tripping goes, it's not actually just the bird lady's house. If you get into any area before the game is able to finish loading its assets, jak will trip to give the system time to catch up.

Do you know if there's a way to get the Power Cell before the bird scoops it and flies to the next in Sentinel Beach? As a kid, I managed to do this and I got that Power Cell before the Bird ever touches, but I have no idea how I did what I've dubbed "Bird Skip" because this was decades ago. I might have also used a Codebreaker to possibly have done it, but I did get the power cell cutscene to activate on that beach. before the bird gets it.
Bruh, how did the zoomer not crash the game when you took it back to sandover? Whenever i've tried getting the zoomer into levels it wasn't meant to be: it just crashes the game (i'm assuming because it freaks out trying to reference an object in the level that's not there).

I watched this earlier. Decided to try the Cannon climb myth myself to see if I could do it. Proud to say I did. I learned a few new tricks from it!

If you hit an invisible load trigger for Fire Canyon while on the zoomer, the game will crash. I avoid the load triggers in this clip.
