Thank you! While it's not confirmed, it's my best guess that Godred and Henry are connected- not just because of the coloring of the text, but because how Henry specifies porting adult men away to another realm. Which is Godred's MO.

I'll be honest. I've been into DSaF for years, meaning I've known of His Grace's existence for many years as well. I always somewhat knew that his existence was due to Henry, but never once did the possibility that Godred was the culmination of Henry's work cross my mind.
It's entirely possible that Godred isn't merely a joke character based on some obscure Thomas character. He's Henry's "masterpiece". *His legacy.*

This is a bit random to say about this whole thing, but I genuinely love how the "Omega" logs actually explain Music Man's existence in DSaF 3: from why he's the most unnerving animatronic that's actually a machine and not some god-forsaken abomination, to why he was built at all, to why he showed up at Jack's restaurant, to even (in my opinion) silently explaining why he shows up during the scene where Jack tells Davetrap that he's outnumbered.
To explain that last bit: it's a headcanon of mine that big ol' MM is actually programmed to be heroic in a way, since he was designed to defend against an unstoppable entity killing his creator in their sleep (and said creator literally saying that Music Man is "the hero we need but don't desire"). I like to believe that Music Man- without actually being able to really fight- was trying his best to be helpful and save the day by backing up Jack.

Jack did everyting for Godred, as did William for Henry.
And yet, Godred still took Jack away, as did Henry screw up William.

also the fact that no matter what jack did godred was never satisfied.
So is Godred Henry, a form of Henry, or created by Heny, or alternatively did the both of you kill Henry in the end, Godred taking his place as lord of the void? (Or some screwed up mixture, or none?)

I don't know why as well, but in the void it sounded like a death monologue for Henry. Like instead of you, the puppet, William, Blackjack, and the phoney duo confronting him, you and Godred go do it instead. "The phrase go ahead and let me die" with the basic paraphrase of "my hate has already reached into your world" not sounding like he necessarily won nor lost, it sounds like Godred just became his own thing after awhile independent of Henry.
At the same time I could be horribly wrong and interpreting things very wrong.
I can directly counter Godred. I always wear this indestructible armor, have trained myself to not need sleep, and I cannot die, so a neck-snap is more of an inconvenience. He has been trying to though. He has arrived 94 times so far. I swear he's starting to get creative with his kidnapping attempts

5:19 Godred's default face originates from a toy of the original Godred from The Railway Series. All of the engines on Godred's railway have two faces, one at each end, and the one seen here is the original Godred's rear-end face. Extremely cursed.
5:26 and 5:34 Both of these faces are of Sir Topham Hatt, also known as The Fat Controller. Contrary to popular belief, he is not a dictatorial overlord who scraps engines once they are no longer "really useful". He has, however, blamed engines for things they haven't done in the past. And as his nickname implies, he is fatter than Toy Freddy.
5:41 Here you can see the incredibly accursed face of Rusty's Boulder, a being nearly as unholy as Godred himself.
34:02 And finally, Godred's last face is that of Diesel 10. He has a giant claw on his roof that he has nicknamed "Pinchy". 'Nuff said.

I like How Godred's different faces are literally from Thomas the Tank Engine.
Fun Fact: There IS a "Godred" in Thomas the Tank Engine. Godred is only in the book series. Godred was #1 out of the Culdee Fell engines, and he was also purple. Godred was scrapped after he fell off the side of a mountain.
And, as Culdee mentions, he was named for a king, Godred MacHarold, a real-life figure in Manx history.
