Good review Isaac. One of my previous jobs was as a firefighter. We were called out on many death calls where people used an unvented propane heater to stay warm. It was a gloomy winter trend and very sad, especially when there were children.
Dang
One option is a 12 volt electric blanket and save some fuel or backup if heater fails. Just a suggestion.
Def!! Good idea
THANK YOU MR TURNER 🙏
FOR BEING TRUFULL ON THIS CAMPER !!!❤
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!
Thanks for watching!
Nice job Isaac. Covered a good assortment of cold weather tips. Stay safe bro
Thanks for watching homie!
Nice editorial…. I’m enjoying my Mr. buddy heater for now, but I’m will upgrade. Thanks for the additional information.👍🏽✌🏾
Love the buddy!
Good morning Isaac thank you for taking us along in this process good information I was totally clueless about this product
Thanks for watching
So glad you are enjoying your camper issac looks like a really nice unit, if you can beat the cold you got it made. keep on cruisin issac!
Def!
Looks like fun. Now my GMC has 4W camper envy. Thanks for your honesty about the slight drafts and bit more roughing it compared to the usual comforts at home. Sure beats a tent. Well, imo.😊
💗💗💗 thanks for watching!
My rig is a beefed-up Suburban. I don't have room for a built-in heater. I'm going to have to make do with my heating pad and blanket during the night, which I'll run on my power station(s). I'm already used to doing that, since I've lived in a partially-finished garage for over a decade (no furnace, no plumbing--only electric). I usually wake up sweating at some point because the provided heat is that sufficient.
I will have to look into this!
Thanks Issac. I appreciate your input.
Thanks for watching :)!
I love this setup so much! I really didn't think there'd be that much room but it seems to be. First with the Toyota now this 😂😂 good job bud👍🏽👍🏽
💗💗
I have winter camped in a living quarters horses trailer for decades
Awesome!
Good advice. Stay warm ❄️✌️
💗
Thanks for the info but I do have a question with only having one exit if I fire broke out at the door is there a emergency exit or would you need to cut your way out?
Whole side window is a fire exit
12:25 mark: Just think of it as needed ventilation. Lol. I personally don't mind a little bit, because it means I'm getting some fresh air. 👍
Ahhh good point
Oh the places you can go!! Enjoy your journeys
One hundeeee
Great video. Love your videos. ❤️❤️
Thank you for watching
Outstanding
Thanks yo
Stay warm Issac with your Heater 🔥
Ha ha ha will do
Thank you, Issac, this answers so many questions I have about winter camping. I am looking for a new rig this year, as I gave my bus to my son. And I am looking for one that will keep me safe in the single elements of Eastern Oregon. (high winds, single digits winters, high desert heat, and dryness of summer)
I do have a couple of questions on the external latches. First high are they? Will I need a step stool at 5foot5? Can you disengage them with gloves on? Do they take a lot of thumb strength for the carpal tunnel?
I mean I think a stool for the latches def helps. As I do more with the camper I’ll share my thoughts. Appreciate you watching :)
All great point
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video. Camper has lots of great options. 😊
Thanks for watching
Great Video and information, Isaac! Take care and stay safe!✨🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼💕
Thanks for watching!
For me i couldn't unlock tge latches. I like the idea of the camper over towing a trailer either way you have to get out to get in. Do they make a back window for the truck to slide into camper? For the younger folks😂.
Ha ha ha not that I know of
Thanks for sharing ❤️
Thanks for watching
Thank you so much you make me want to go get one lol
💗
Just hit play ▶ then take a nap or take a walk or here's a concept, how about watch the video, ha!
Loved the review Isaac! Sending love & hugs & respect! ❤🤗
Ha ha appreciate you watching
Great review
Thanks yo
Luv your coat❤!
Thanks yo
I love your set up . Im excited for all your adventures in this . Safe Travels Always. God Bless Ya'll. Mucho Love from your friend in Michigan Tam ❤️ ♥️ 💕 p.s a couple of electric blankets might help ??...
Thanks for watching! Electrical blanket def a great idea!!
Even without the thermal canvas insulation, with my diesel heater I’m more than warm enough. I tried it at 19 degrees F, and I was toasty. Heater is the key.
Heater is def the key! Thanks for watching!
Happy new year Isaac 👍🙏❤️❤️❤️
Happy new year!
Nice camper hawk
Yes smart facts you have
And yes the buddy heater is a good option
I'm learning lots hey can the latches be InThe inside instead of outside just wondering
Isaac
Smarty
Love video
Latches are only the outside
Issac good straight forward review. Every rig has it pros and cons. Question, let's say it was really snowing or pouring rain, could you slip inside without the top raised and sleep with heat? Just a thought. I know it would be low but then when the weather cleared a bit you could raise it.
One Hundo! I’ll do another video on that
Does 4 wheel camper provide heaters powered by lithium battery in case you're sensitive to heaters powered by gas?
Yes, tell them it rains 90% of the year here. 😉 And it's always windy at the coast, too!!
Ha ah aha
Mr buddy will heat you up no sweat but it will make so much condensation everything it your rig will be sweating in condensation
I have used them plenty!
I live in Oregon too, and I'm wondering about the canvas. Does it keep water out in rain or snow? What about mildew? In Oregon there is so much rain that I would think it would be hard to dry it out once you get back home, unless you have a heated garage. Do you just pop it up at home on an overcast day and does that dry it out enough? Let me know.
Canvas last forever pretty much I hear
@@isaacturnerit So you're not drying it out at all after rain or snow? Not popping it up when you get home to air out on a dryer day? I'm curious because I'm thinking of getting one of these.
With that( thermal layer ), should the first layer be wiped down ?
Wiped down?
😍😎
💗
How much propane does that heater use in a 3 day cold trip?
2 people in a campsite next to me used the stove all night long for heat. and died. this is not a BS story , they never came out in the morning for breakfast. another member of their grp that slept in the cab not the camper, came out screaming THEY'RE DEAD....OMG... HELP ME MY FAMILY IS DEAD....thankfully i didnt know them . but it was sooo horrible to see the park rangers remove the bodies.
Did you different shocks on your truck before camper?
Bilstein 5100s but biggest thing for camper is air bags
I don't think it's safe to use your stove as a heater. You're definitely right to say, "Vent your space," but I still think it's too dangerous. Carbon monoxide is a tasteless, odorless gas, and it is highly toxic. Also, there are other harmful fumes which can build up from propane, as well. I might do it in a desperate situation just to stay alive, but only for limited periods, and while cracking some bit of ventilation open for sure. Frankly, in a survival situation, I think I'd rely more on the truck heater instead - since at least it doesn't exhaust itself right into the cab - and spend most of my time in there, turning the engine on and off for short periods every few hours, to converse fuel. But hopefully I'll never need to make use of either option.
Does 4 wheel camper provide battery powered heaters for customers who are sensitive to heaters powered by gas?
Nobody would ever want that. The only other option you would want is diesel
Hi Issac, thanks! Sorry, I meant fossil fuel. I only use clean energy for cooking and heating at home due to my asthma. I probably should check with them. Thanks for the review. I learned something new. Take care.
How much does this weigh? Did you add anything to the truck to help with handling?
1100lbs has air bags and upgraded brakes
@@isaacturnerit comically you and I bought truck campers in the same week. Great minds I guess. I have to get air bags it’s frightening to drive in the wind.
👍
🙏🏼
Do you make use of a cell phone extender, to boost your cell phone signal? Also, I'm curious about how you and your girlfriend/ wife met. Was it out camping? Also, how do you support yourself? Is it off of youtube revenue? How do you get health insurance? Forgive me for asking, the last thing I want to do is be nosey. I just think it's awesome what you're doing and I'd like to know how you've made it work. Thank you so much for sharing.
UA-cam income at the moment.
@@isaacturnerit That's really impressive actually, that it would provide you that much income, to buy a home and a truck and a camper. Does your girlfriend/ wife work, or is the whole family sustained by youtube? Either way, pretty astounding.
I’m thinking it you can feel a draft coming in there is room for water to come in. Am I wrong?
Nah no water
@@isaacturnerit that is the only thing keeping me from ordering a pop-up camper, water leaks.
I like the truck camper however I would need something electrical to pop it up if that's possible
They have a electric jacks now
Wow that's cool

Morning!!
In very cold weather this doesn’t look feasible
Hmm already done it
