Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing okay out there in these crazy times? I had the wonderful Nick Jennison in my video studio today to shoot some videos for Guitar Interactive Magazine and this was a fun jam we shot at the end of the day to entertain ourselves. The other two cameras ran out of memory about 1 minute in, so you have a single angle and about 4 minutes of playing.

Man, you two rocked, but seeing you actually enjoy the whole thing going on and reckoning Quayle's playing by "staring" his fretboard while he plays was amazing! Don't know why some guitarist avoid doing that..

Both players have their own taste for sure. Nick gives that traditional and classical blues - if that's what you want in your album. Tom gives you that Fusion Blues/Jazz feel - if you want something a little special, smooth, and different on your album. I've always been a traditional blues guy...but I prefer Tom. This is because I want something different. I believe, Tom's Jazz recipe will make me as a better player. Lol.
Tom's harmonic complexity and phrases are just not fair ! 😝

Yeah. I can't help doing that ,,, I watch the other one that's not playing and you can see,, when they're following, but also when they think the line takes an unexpected turn, that they wouldn't have done ,, like a surprise ,, its all amazing no matter how you look at it ,, just the sound alone ,, great sound control .. everything right there

It seems like at the end, Nick started doing these jazzy lydian/whole tone lines aftrt hearing Tom use them a few times. Great playing from both.

Even Nick acknowledged it....i replayed that part atleast 5 times to figure out the notes but mostly just for the feel of it at the end of that run....sublime...
Nick did an absolutely FILTHY job here. Loved this so much, Tom being an absolute face of the living tribunal as always.
Sometimes, Toms mimic reminds me of Rick Beato, expressing his feelings. I love how both of them react to special great moments in the playing of the other. Makes me good feelings.
