Great review, It's a shame it draws so much current, this makes it unusable in an RV, Caravan or camper as 15 amps is the max allowable in carravan Parks.
AFTER MY RESEARCH I BOUGHT THE VEVOR 4 GALLON HOT WATER HEATER IT ONLY DRAWS 1440 WATTS COMES WITH A 120V CORD INSTALLED. I GET A GREAT SHOWER WITH THIS AT .5 GPM AT MID HEATER SETTING. IT HEATS UP FROM A DEAD START IN ABOUT 20 MINUTES SO IT IS PERFECT FO ROFF GRID LIFESTYLES.
Im thinking about buying their 8kw model on amzon. I assume its doesnt get too much hotter than that 7kw unit. I live in the south. Do you think it would be enough for a single low flow shower head?
Yes, I think 8kw tankless hot water heater would work fine for a single shower. I think it would need to be fed by a 2-pole, 240v, 40AMP circuit breaker, using #8 wire.
