In case of Sua she developed her skills to the point where their company is confident in her ability to carry the vocals power role while still maintains the main dancer role as we can see in this performance as well cases like this are actually very rare as not many idols excel as Sua does shows she is an ACE tbh all DC girls ARE ACE material but roles in k-pop actually do matters a lot when it comes to overall performance its just thay DC have developed themselves to the point where they can pull of any role this comes with hard work,experience and career longetivity Sua is in the industry for 13-15 years by now while a new group of 2-3 years experience will still need to follow their assigned role so that their will be more harmony within the groups overall performance and creates more potential success for the job/performance

They are definitely getting more new domestic fans and recognition for their vocal skills. It's a funny thing to notice, but watching their group fancams, there are a lot of people using their nightstand lamp as light sticks! Since their official light stick has been sold out for a while, that means they are probably new! 😹Their music will probably never chart well since it's just not a popular genre there. But every tour, the venues get a bit bigger, and most important, the girls are actually happy just doing what they like! They get A LOT of input in their careers and could have tried a more mainstream genre if they wanted, but they've stuck with this and renewed their contracts and sound like they have no plans to stop anytime soon.

I'm so proud of them...Being without Siyeon they rearranged the entire choreo. Dongie is a sub vocalist and it's her who hits the first high note which was Siyeon's part. And Bora, the main dancer, covers the even higher note that Siyeon ws supposed to sing at the end. They're amazing.

Right I notice that even with groups that sing well live their backtrack is always way too loud. Dreamcatcher is one of the very few that uses very little backtrack. Taking into account the consistency of it, for example, SM groups having amazing vocalists in ALL of their groups but still having all/the vast majority of them rely HEAVILY on backtrack/lip syncing, I think it's the company's request. Dreamcatcher also very rarely uses backtrack in multiple shows so its unlikely this is a show decision thing. Their company is very confident in their vocals as they should.
