YOOOOOOOOO If the Origin SMP had lore and if it was a roleplay type thing like the Dream SMP, this is most likely how they would portray Tubbo! Tubbo being a shulker was like being a catapiller, then he wrapped himself up in a cocoon and became a butterfly, or a bee! This is super amazing, and I love your designs!
This reminds me of how different Tubbo acted before he decided he Really wants to be a Bee. He acted very reclusive, focused on just being there, and acted almost singleplayer focused. The way that Shulk Tubbo was shown here reminds me of that. And the Second he became a Bee (broke free of the Shulker cocoon, now having the Other side of the Shulk's abilities, namely the controlled permanent levitation) he became chaotic and his dynamic with everyone changed, got chaotic and So So Fun. He Immediately moved underground with his good friend and platonic husband and decided he wanted to be a bad guy, just for fun.
“Tubbo?” Ranboo found his friend sitting by himself, looking over the lands. He sat down next to him, to which Tubbo merely stood up and walked away without a word. He looked…tired. Tubbo, his pace slowing each step, eventually sat down and curled up, his shulker shell encasing his body. He had never done this before…what was this? For the next few days, Tubbo stayed put inside his shell, not coming out for anyone. Wilbur had attempted to look inside, but he couldn’t. Tommy tried to get him out, literally yelling at him, “Come on man get out we have stuff to do!” and knocking on the top of the shell. But no luck. After everyone’s attempts to make Tubbo leave his shell, Ranboo had given up and sat down next to his friend. Tubbo still hadn’t come out for at least a week or so, but Ranboo stayed by his side. Finally, after about two weeks, the shell began to stir. Crack! Ranboo was startled by this sudden event. The shell continued to break, until a dazed Tubbo was able to exit. But something was different. Tubbo had stumbled on his first steps out of the shell, but Ranboo helped him up. Tubbo now sported a pair of antennae, a black and yellow striped shirt, and glossy black sclera. But the biggest difference was that on his back were a pair of crystal-like wings. Tubbo had gone from a shielded shulk to a bouncy bumblebee. But he was still Tubbo.
*I would also like to add to this amazingly written fanfic. That everyone was probably getting more and more concerned, because shulks need to eat more than normal. And for tubbo not to come out and eat for 2 weeks straight could probably result in death. Considering his species, at that time.

That's what I was thinking! Like everyone thinks that Tubbo was feeling under the weather, but in actuality his body was getting ready to change from shulker to bee and he was getting sleepy.

I love the characterization when they approach Tubbo's box. Tommy is indignant and punches the box, probably yelling that Tubbo is being an idiot (and doesn't he realise how much he's scaring Tommy, honestly, he is the worst friend there is), Wilbur approaches him but clearly seems unsure of what to actually do and how to help, and Ranboo just.. stays. He waits however long he will need to watching over him. It's all pretty simple (mostly) still shots but they convey so much meaning, it's great.
