Ahhhhh this takes me back to when I was 4 years old, I remember always getting scared playing the first part then pausing then quitting XD, or My teen nanny would play for me and I always admired how good she was at the game until now, This game isn't as scary or as hard as I remember. The storyline and the fact that it is indeed a survivor mode (with few supplies and lots of mid level enemies) is what gives this game so much potential for a remake. Would really love to play this on next gen consoles

This was my 1st RE game I played and I walked the whole way through the game. When I beat the game and seen the game demo when u wait for the loading screen to play it. I didn't know I can run! I was so mad but did a thing I'm now proud of!

Un RE muy infravalorado en mi opinión. Es cierto, historia corta y alejada de la principal, muchos errores y probablemente reciclaje de elementos. Sin embargo, acorde a las miles de opiniones de los que lo jugamos, sobretodo la primera vez (mi primer RE) confirmamos lo que digo. ¿Porqué? Tenía sus detalles excelentes. Por ejemplo, la incapacidad de guardar la partida (excepto en el emulador de PC) lo hacía interesante. Otra cosa que me gustó fue que a pesar de que es algo corto, lo compensaba con la enorme cantidad de caminos que podías tomar y todos tenían cosas importantes para completar al 100% el juego (armas, objetos, enemigos, munición, etc). Y finalmente yo diría que lo mejor del juego fue el modo primera persona, pues ayudaba enormemente a disfrutarlo como un auténtico Resident Evil, (nunca sabes que te camina por la espalda o quien te va a aparecer al abrir una puerta cubriendo toda la pantalla) pues yo me cagué de miedo como nunca y recuerdo que duré días teniendo pesadillas (sobretodo el puto primer zombie que matas). Las únicas armas que utilicé en todas las veces que lo jugué, fue el lanzagranadas para joder al último monstruo y la hermosura que aquí vemos en el video: la pistola D. A= Básica y de daño bajo con velocidad promedio. B= El menor daño de las 4, pero compensado por un cargador más grande y unas ráfagas deliciosas. C= La más equilibrada, con un daño moderado, cargador bueno y una velocidad regular. D= Cargador pequeño, lenta pero con el mejor daño. Si tienes buena puntería, es la mejor de las 4. PD: Perdón por redactar esta biblia XD, pero tenía que argumentar bien mi opinión porque me encanta este RE.

1st resident evil game for me, after that, the normal resident evil. There is an awesome gun with 15 bullets inside the hospital, you can shoot that gun rapidly as fast as you can press x, in exchange you won't be able to get the gun from the old man. If you're attacked from behind, you don't get hurt :), just turn around when you're reloading or about to get hit.

Maybe the Japanese and European releases are better due to being able to use a Guncon. Why do companies make light gun games without the light gun support?
I feel if they remade this game with modern controls and graphics while maintaining the low supplies and survival horror aspect, the game would be done justice and people would stop hating on it so much. Of course, that's a pretty big "if", considering Capcom would be much likely to do another CG film, an RE2 remake, and a new Outbreak game before they ever remade Survivor.

What a game..I remember that there was a 3 different road when we start.First is white door that opens to slaughter house smthg like that.(easiest road I think).The other road is a theatre with locked road for moderate players whick player selected.The third road was going to a library.There were slighters falls from ceiling.hardest road my char always dies. It was fantastic game and very good graphics for PS1 games in that times
