Feedback the new microphone works fantastic, great quality audio. Also, you mentioned "I'm not sure what you can see" in response from a viewer, the video of painting the Queen is very clear, again this is very educational material, great job.
Another, great and educational video, thank you so much for sharing! Melting point of Canadians, funny, 86 is about my melting point too, the bees seem to prefer it :)
Brad I enjoyed your 2020 tour through the mini nucs. I am considering adding this process to my apiary this season. I've noticed a lot of beekeepers try this method and eventually bail out and go to other queen raising methods. Have you had enough success with this method to continue? Randy in Michigan
I can't say I stayed with it but I might go back to it. I am currently using 4 frame deep mating nucs and might even use some six-framers this season. I didn't like the quads being connected together. I plan to build some singles to make management easier. To produce a larger number of queens, a person needs to minimize the resources used for the mating nucs, as that is the most resource intense phase of raising queens.
Can you please share your measurements on your mating Nucs or queen castle? I went from using 2 frame boxes to mini styrofoam minis it’s been pretty rough with the Minis put 20 minis out and only had about 6 return. Any suggestions you can give Me I would appreciate thank you☀️
Hi Scott. I won't have access to the mini nucs to measure for you for quite some time. Meanwhile, all the measurements etc are mentioned in my videos on building them. You can see those on the playlist. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! ua-cam.com/play/PLlRzfF7N3iAq2gZSz7-TJZsZB4ZFlswCb.html

Good day is there some place to buy those mini frames or you make them yourself. Thank you
You can buy mini frames but I build these myself.

Next year those mating nucs are going to work great with all that drawn comb.
You need to build tiny supers!
I absolutely do, and I have a plan to do so!
Thanks Brad great content!! 🐝safe and keep your smoker lit!!
