This guy is very smart, and watching almost every video that is for me, Legend for comparing speakers.
**all the speakers were set at approximately 75% so if it was louder that's because it is in fact a louder speaker at that volume :)
Black shirt gold chain, Marshall speaker. Jamming! Crushing it
Is tribit louder then Tufton?❤if yes then how much is the difference?
But the Tufton is so cute 😍
Can u link multiple Marshall devices to one phone and play simultaneously?
I purchased Acton 3 last week. Oh Man… this is just awesome, great sound, great bass , louder than you expect.
I am in love with this one. Just can’t stop myself listening songs on this one….
hows it for vocals of movies or sports ?
Ttibit balanced and Loud 🔥💥
I bought Acton 3 according to your recommendation. I'm listening to music with great satisfaction. 👍👍 thx.
I got a tufton at a garage sale for $150 and I love love it
I'll choose tufton and tribit❤❤ base with vocal😍
What about pairing speakers and listening in stereo ... that's how music should be heard. Which are TWS enabled for setting up a pair in stereo?
Thank you very much.
Will you do an updated video for 2024?
Yooo peace. I really loved your sound test. And it was quite informative. I just subscribed and I going to buy the Tribet because I like the bass response. I haven’t checked to see if you have affiliate links if so I’m going through there, thanks bro
Hi Danny, would you recommend the if the choice was Acton 3 vs Stanmore 2?
love the comparisons.
Acton 3 all day
@@DannyPops thanks, will get the acton then.
Hello Danny, if I have the opportunity to buy a Marshall speaker, which one do you recommend? acton for 180 dollars or stanmore for 220 dollars? considering these prices
I'm using an acton and very satisfied with it.
This video dropped at the perfect time. Getting the Acton 3 ❤
bro I need help Acton 3 or Kilburn 2
@@ishannarain9640 if you don't care about portability then Acton 3 without a question. Acton doesn't have battery and needs to be plugged in FYI
^^ what he said
Hi! After 7 months how was your experience with the acton? I’m about to buy one 😊
@@alexanderstephenevi733 it's actually pretty great. Unless you're not that concerned about the music quality then any cheaper one will suffice. Really love the music quality and my general use case are inside my bedroom which is decently big. Acton is more than enough to fill the room. Heard the stanmore 3 in shop as well, but I don't have the requirement for louder sound for that extra cost. EQ is average. Wish it was possible to reduce the bass a lil more than the lower limit. Definitely much much better than my old kilburn 1
Hy dear!!
Which one is better portable speaker?
tufton or kilburn 2 ??
Please reply!!!!
Tufron
Got the Acton 3 after watching your video on it and honestly it's just fantastic incredible sound and looks gorgeous, your review was spot on
Same for me!
How good is the sound? Out of 10 how much would u rate it?
@@sayemak99I just picked it up yesterday. It sounds amazing. And can fill a medium sized room very well. 9/10
@@sayemak998.5 , One of the best bedroom speakers
Stanmore 2 vs anker soundcore motion plus. Which one better
Soundcore Motion Boom Plus for UA-cam (X bass off) & low listening X bass on
& Tribit Storm Box for music.
Do you have both. I have mbp and am considering either getting another mbp for tws or one blast so I’d have one of each. What do you think
Why is Stanmore III sounds so muffled? also, which speaker would you recommend if I would look to buy one for my living room (20 m2) mostly for watching movies?
I’m probably going to need to do a video about speakers for movies since it’s an entirely different eco system for connection. The muffled sound is just a product of recording it live on my cardioid microphone and placement. The stanmore III does sound strange in this recording, you can check it out again in my stanmore III video.
Hey man,
I'll be waiting for your reply,
Tribit Strombox Blast or Marshall Acton 3 for best base experience whilst preserving audio quality
Acton III for me. It has better balance.
Thanks Danny, I love yours reviews and the way you make our lives easier by your review. Hey if I have choose one from the home range of Marshall Speakers, Which One to go for. Stanmore II or Acton III. I am getting both in the same price point, while for Stanmore III i have to sweat US$ 120 more. While I am getting the Acton II lesser by US$ 85. What's good for a decent Houshold daily usage speaker.
Will wait for you to suggest and guide
acton 3 would be my best buy
@@DannyPops thanks a ton.
I found an acton 1 for one third of the acton 3…do you think the first edition is still ok for “living room” music in 2023?
sound doesnt change all that much. of course, you've made your descision by now but for others scrolling, an older model usually offers 90% functionality for half the price.
You should check more type of music genre's.
Danny... I need help/advise. got an Emberton back in July and It just stopped working 2 weeks ago. Its just dead for no reason, won't charge. I've tried everything. My main problem now seems the be that Marshall customer service seems terrible. Got in contact with someone 10 days ago but since then nothing. I've also sent 2 more messages through the Marshall website and nothing?? What do you think? What should I do? thanks, love your channel.
Hi, great video’s! What do you think would be the best speaker for a combination of listening casually to music and watching movies or video’s? I’m leaning towards the Acton, but the Tufton is on sale, so at first I was thinking to buy that one. But in another video you said the Tufton is more of a party speaker? Is the Acton different in that way? Better suited for listening to non-party music or watching tv? Or am I looking at the wrong speakers for that?
The tufton is great and portable. Yes it's a party speaker but I think you could tweak it via the analog controls to get a less boomy sound. As for latency it's bt 4.0 so I'm not sure how much of a delay it might have. That's a thing with a lot of speakers. You could always try it and return if you don't like it
@@DannyPops Thank you for the response! I might try that 🙂
For Action 3 how do we connect to Sony TV. Is it easy to connect to...???
Love the review. Can you compare the acton with the new sonos 100?
Personally, I haven't heard any of the Marshalls. And partly relied on your judgement to choose between Marshall models while looking for my new speakers. I could say the same with my Sony, JBL, and UE options.
While I'm not questioning your conclusions here. I'd assume when one spends over $300-400 on speakers. There's a level of detail, nuance, transparency, or refinement (throw in audiophile lingo) they receive from these investments.
Although I can't vouch for Marshall from my lack of experience with them. There's a plethora of excellent brands out there with distinguishably better sound. Like Vifa (which you reviewed, I think?), Audio Pro (the Drumfire D-2, which I own), Ruark, Klipsch, and more!
If someone actually can spend that extra. They shouldn't shy away from some of these exceptionial audio options, thinking they're gonna get an audio bargain with some of the cheaper, mass-produced rivals. There are exceptions to the rule. But from owning my Audio Pro and listening to some other models from different brands, I can conclude that after testing, the right investment can buy you not only better sound. But a better experience.
Looking forward to more reviews! Cheers!
Yeah there are a lot of great speakers. I adore the vifa but hate how overpriced they seem for how old they are. Klipsch has some great ones too but again they are kinda old. I like the Marshall's because of the looks, sound, and their acceptance of new bluetooth tech coming down the pipe. Its all subjective I know.
@@DannyPops true! Like the Tufton, the Helsinki and Oslo are uniquely positioned as premium, powerful speakers that are still relatively portable.
And I hate that speaker manufacturers are normalising Bluetooth upgrades as full feature changes, just to profit from it. And yet adopting these changes at a snail's pace. So much so that they're releasing new models with older Bluetooth versions.
I can't vouch for the truth behind the rumours, but I heard Vifa has actually gone out of business. I might be wrong.
@@rahulk8322 what are some speakers with over all good sound frequency response from your specified brands? portability is not an issue for me. I would like to use it at home. thanks.
Danny, can you start to include B&O portable speakers in your reviews please?
You know... I reach out to them from time to time... and they don't wanna send anything.
Binging all your videos cause idk which to pick. Cause of store credit I can get either the stanmore 3 for $260 or the Woburn 2 for $292. I like the look of the stanmore 3 better but videos keep making the Woburn 2 seem better. But idk about getting an older model
I'd steer you towards the stanmore 3 based on personal preference
how about edifier bt speakers? like those bookshelf type?
This video is really great. Really about to make me buy an Acton. Is there like an EQ app for the Acton? I really love Marshall products. Might not need one because the sound already sounds great. Also how do you think the Acton compared to Harman Kardon Onyx series?
Please do a detailed review of the new Marshall Middleton!!
I know they are very different speakers but would you say the marshall acton is a big step up from the emberton in sound quality?
I want a speaker for my bedroom/home office that I can occasionaly put in the living room if I have guests. I don’t plan on taking it outside so the battery doesnt matter that much if I can just plug it in. But I don’t know if the sound quality is that much better for the price? What would you suggest? :)
The acton will sound significantly better.
My requirement also matches with you. did you find your speakers?
@@DannyPops I bought Acton II yesterday. It's Mid bass and higher frequency response is so amazing, even with low bass settings. Thanks for your good work.
Great content. Really confused between the motion boom plus @649 AED or Tribit Blast 1000 AED or Marshall stanmore 2 @1300 .
Kindly advise. I want tight bass and rich vocal & tweeters with balanced sound clarity .
Standmore has class D amplifier.
But same time VFM is important.
Mainly for UA-cam videos and movies .
Thanks
I'm getting the Stanmore because of the portability! Otherwise I would go for the Acton :D
Have u tried Beosound Level or Naim Muso 2?
I havent
@@DannyPops oh ok, I love the Level, you should give it a try.
Nice video but that Tribit blast is amazing the soundcore I have and also amazing Marshall just too expensive thanks great video
yeah and I'm sure they will only get more expensive as they establish themselves as the ultimate luxury boy brand. Thanks for watching bill!
@@DannyPops I have the Marshall Willens love those Marshall speakers in black and cream
Does anyone use the marshall speakers as a PC speaker?
Everytime with Stanmore III, the expression is like.... 😂
don't know you ,but giving you like upfront as I believe my expectations be met on what I am after 🙃
yep,great content ! thanks !🙃👌
Well I already the two tribits and two sound core and might get two more sound core booms because I can add them up and eq it and I'm all about the Bass. Even tho the tribit is I agree for mad vol and I don't need to max my soundcore so
I also have two motion boom plus and two tribit blast, thinking on getting another motion boom plus or wondering if a rave 2 would pair well with the two motion boom plus.
@@tonydillinger2553 What do you guys do with so many speakers?
What if Acton 3 and Tufton is costing same now.
Was torn for the same, but I tried in person, if you want to use outdoors or a large room go for Tufton, for smaller places Acton 3 works much better than Tufton, tufton isn't made to be played on mid volume or smaller rooms
@@aaronlobo496 thanks. Acton 3 then:)
It's the tribit for me
Great Job 👍🏾
How does the Acton 3 compare to the Klipsch The One II? That is what I currently have. I’m wondering if I’m missing out on something. I find the Klipsch to be great for jazz and classical but kind of ehhhh for everything else, including movies.
Edit: NVM you answered it in your Acton 3 review thank you! PS I always watch to the end
GOLD STAR! tyvm for watching these
ive been binge watching all your speaker videos bc i'm on the market for one and your videos are very informative! (im currently very torn between the marshall acton 3 and klipsch the one ii..) if there's one genre of music i hope you can add for the sound tests is classical music. i know its very niche but just even a small snippet would be amazing. thanks for all ur helpful videos :)
I'll have to check on some classical for you. Those are 2 of my favorite home speakers btw so I guess the cumulative opinion is seeping through.
I have both the Tribit Stormbox Blast and Motion Boom Plus, and they are both great for the price. But the Marshall Acton sounds flat and not very loud. Stanmore 3 was not all either. The Tribit Stormbox Blast and Motion Boom Plus are the way to go.
Serious contender you missed. Soundcore Motion X600. Better than those you showed.
Hello I want to buy the Acton 3 brown but now it’s out of stock 🙁. Great video 👏🏻
