X100VI can have the focus ring mapped to the preset film simulations, working when not in Manual mode, which is smart.
Plus, I mapped Q to the back control button, selecting with the dial what's needed with 1 dial and press-click.
Q is mapped for my own simulations.
So all can be accessed swiftly, keeping eye(s) on subject.
X100VI auto-focus needs kaizen, yes, yet the image quality (incl. sharpness, noise) of the fixed f2 lens is, according to my practical tests better on the X100VI than X-T50, T-5 and H2, with a similar 23 mm.
For dynamic range (issues), I'd wish the GF sensor ... might come 2025 ;)
X100VI - WR, the optical viewfinder, amazing design, all in one solution
X-T50 - interchangeble lenses, still a pretty camera, no WR, possible to find in stock.
X-Pro4 - Best of two worlds and even more.
Yes I'd love an X-Pro4, waiting with my X-Pro3 currently for everyday/travel photography. Using the 16 f2.8, 23 f2 and 50 f2 small primes.
Problem with the X-Pro4 is that it doesn't exist. And for those tempted by the X-pro3, well...good luck with the screen issue.
@@GBO76 exactly, the X-Pro4 should exist. And my X-Pro3 works perfectly.
Maybe just me , but I feel like there should be a bridge model between the X-E4 and the X-pro3 (x-pro feels a bit overkill for me who wants an X-E body with WR.
@@krishnakumarr9619 well if they made the X-Pro4 EVF only it certainly would be cheaper! That hybrid EVF/OVF is complicated and expensive to make.
I downgraded my XT5 for the XT50 because of weight, size and better feeling. I will use it professional for my travel photography together with te X100F. For many years I used the XT20 with the X100F.
Most of the photographers tell that X T 5 fujifilms new firmware is not good for fixing AF problems. Did you see the same AF problem on this camera ? Thank you !
Personally I feel the AF is better, also the custom zone AF is changing the equation a lot in the favour of X-T50. For the moment I'm very satisfied with it.
I like that the X-T50 is more compact than the X-T5, but Sony APSC Cameras are more compact ! The battery in the X-T50 should have been larger !

Now, Fujifilm India has revealed the price of x100vi in India and it's too high.
On paper it say's 1600 US dollars - And that does not translate to ~1.35 Lakhs but 1.8 Lakhs (i.e; ~45K more) .
With this pricing, seriously, it does not make any sense at all. X100v initially was just 1.2 Lakhs . X100vi's 33% hike in pricing is just odd.
I'm very much decided now, not to go for it. I rather will increase budget a little and get some compact full frame - That's a wise decision.
Great video as always. I couldn’t afford the T50 so I bought anA3 which is great for family photos. Not as many features but I have the X-Pro3 for that and the range finder experience. Also surprisingly good autofocus in good light. My long term dream is am X-Pro4
I was going to buy the X-T50 but the film sim. dial just made no sense to me, so I'm going to keep my X-T30 mk. II for now.
you also gonna have a smaller body&lighter body thats always an advantage..
if Fuji had an updated XF23mm F2, I would get the XT50. But for 35mm equivalent shooters, the XF23mm f1.4R is s;ighty too big for the XT50, and the new primes are too big. The small xf23mm f2 isn't as good as the 23mmf2 optics in the X100V and VI
Yes, but I would risk it with the 23mm f1.4 wr. The 18mm f1.4 is staying so nice on x-t50... I'll do a video about it...
You are completely right with IBIS.
I also own Leica M240/M10.
If Leica implements IBIS for the M12, I will buy. IBIS is the only requirement I have for a possible M12.

Makes sense vs the x100vi but I still don’t enjoy using the 15-45mm due to the delay when turning it on, unmarked zoom and variable aperture plus I’m still not convinced 40mp makes sense on apsc due to the noise levels as soon as ISOs increase. Anyway, glad you found a solution that works for you. Out of interest do you still have an a7c ii? I feel like that could be a better small set up?
I still have Sony a7c - but the jpeg colors, and ergonomics aren't a joy to use for everyday photography.

I have told from the first version of the Fuji X100 that is was overpriced and it should have a better Lens, a better EVF, no OVF and better build quality, Fuji X100 series are overprized. A system Camera are a much better option !
