    Buried beneath the last dense jungles of planet earth, There are hidden mysterious that are only just coming to light, Over the last centuries wonders of the world have been uncovered here but did you know that we are only just scratching the surface?
    In a world shattering revelation, technological advancements reveal what scientists could never see before, hidden beneath the dense canopy, and what they found is beyond anything they could have imagined. Do you have what it takes to stomach the truth? Join us as we unveil the cosmic mysteries that lies beneath the jungle….
    In the central American tropical forests, one of the last lungs of mother nature, its an impenetrable, dense, hot humid environment, teaming with life and biting insects, a whole 35 million hectares of it. This forest is even as big as the European country Germany, its one of the largest tropical forests left on planet earth, making all other forests on the planet look minute in comparison. Trying to solve a mystery from inside this jungle is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. This never ending sea of trees span across three countries, In the north is Mexico, to the south west is Guatemala & to the south east is Belize, and the forest spreads as far out as the Caribbean coast line. Though centuries ago it stretched even further as far south as El Salvador and Honduras
    This is not just any old jungle, its known as the Forest of The Maya and hides some of the most perplexing mysteries known to man kind. The sheer size of this jungle, with its thick under story of plants and creeping vines makes this place an extremely hostile to the untrained. For archaeologists and geologists it has been a tough challenge to find the ancient sites that an extremely advanced civilization left behind almost a millennia ago. What has already been uncovered is only a fraction of what once were super cities, not just one but thousands of urban centers that supported millions, just like our mega cities today but possibly far more advanced than we could have ever dreamed of. It may seem completely crazy to imagine what was going on here, but new technology is mapping out what lays beneath the thick canopy, and what is being discovered, is something that was thought entirely impossible.
    The latest in LiDAR technology allows for scientists to map the forest floor without having to disturb or dig up anything. This technology is extremely expensive and has only been used a handful of times, but what it has been able to do is give scientists almost x-ray vision and what they saw was so perplexing, its left scientists scratching their heads in confusion.
    Found out what scientists discovered in this video!

    With so many cities connected by these straight roads, one would wonder how they traveled on these roads. It was believed for a while that the Maya somehow never discovered the wheel, but this was later dispelled when children's toys were discovered which had wheels so one might have to wonder if wheels were for child's play what we're adults using. Some say they knew how to somehow fly and these roads were for the purpose of navigating.

    Makes more sense that this was around 10,000 years or more when the Earth was cooler. Like in Africa, the climate changed. The great plains of the Sahara turned to desert, this area turned to jungle. Seems like something happened that caused the Earth to warm up very fast causing this. The people that moved in afterwards had no idea how to replicate the buildings, especially with no wheels or heavy lifting technologies.

    As a Mexican aware that the Mayan were alive and kicking, I always wandered why historians kept saying "Mayan collapsed", but this is more of an Anglophone point of view, In English you always talk how "civilizations banish" like how "all the Celts migrated from Spain to Ireland running away from the Romans" and I am like "what are you guys talking about, who do you think are the Central & Northern Spaniards? Celts in Spain were divided in two groups, on portion migrated to Ireland and the other stayed and became Latinized while keeping a lot of their Celtic traditions, not the language.
    Or how do you say "the Goths vanished" and I'm no, modern Italians and Spaniards are descendants of the Goths, in Spanish we have a lot of Gothic influence in our names, like Gomez which is the hispanified version of Gomson or Guzman is the hispanified Gootmann or Goodman. Common names in Spanish like Rodrigo come from Gothic language, Roderick. Some Spaniards are blond with blue-eyes and they have been like since the Visigoths arrived. So no, the Goths didn't vanished, you can find them speaking Spanish in Bilbao.

Rome feeding a million people is a history subject on its own "Kesler and Temin calculate that Rome's grain supply in the early Empire required a total of 2,000 to 3,000 merchant voyages annually, with each vessel carrying an average of 70,000 kg, sometimes much more." And now they claim the mayans, without even cartwheels, had several such cities...in middle of the jungle.

    All buiilt between 1000-2000 years ago: yeah, right. I suppose you also think the Inca Road system was actually built by the Inca. A roading system, that is the longest artificial structure, on Earth, over some of the most difficult terrain, to landscape. And all, with no development of the wheel.
    Can't wait for any real archeological excavations to start, & {hopefully} find datable artefacts/organic matter, beneath any surviving structural foundations.
    This is just further proof that modern accepted historical/archelogical theories can sometimes be classed as non-compos mentos, as new technologies, like LIDAR, prove otherwise, as they have also found other significant sites, right throughout the whole South Amercian continent. As well as other finds; like the large numbers of previously unknown structues, in Egypt, etc..

      Hi, Although it's a bit long - this unique you tube presentation is well worth watching until the end for what is revealed in many parts throughout that presentation - that basically shows a completely covered up American ancient history and much much more astonishing revelations and it's not just the Mayans. 🤔🙃

    How is it that the soil isnt considered to be good enough to grow crops/plants when IY THE MIDDLE OF A TROPICAL FOREST? Theres plants growing LITERALLY EVERYWHERE… lol

    • @LeafofLifeWorld
      @LeafofLifeWorld  7 місяців тому

      Limestone rock on the yucatan is not great for growing crops it can be done but that's one reason why slash and burn was used commonly to bring nutrients to the ground fast actually this type of forest is suppose to burn naturally for that reason. lime alters soil chemistry over time, it can dramatically restrict the availability of mineral nutrients that many plants require to thrive. The end result may be unhealthy and unproductive plants.
      Some plants are well adapted to these soils, crops are human engineered plants that have been selectively breed over time and have different requirements

    This is a little light on explanation - what exactly was the water catchment and management system? how did the steep architecture contribute? What was the social system and trade systems that supported this? Just saying there was a new discovery and then sensationalizing it as “proof” actually does more harm than good, esp when there is so much great info out there now. Romanticizing indigenous people is a form of commodification

    To my minds eye this much older, & evidence that this was created by an advanced terra-forming intelligent life form from the cosmos. Just connect the dots. The impact crater, the vegetation & thickness & variety still growing, the size of population, the number of structures, & it's vast area suggest 10's of thousands of years.

    It's not "Tikal" .... it is "TIK AL" which means, reading right to left, "god Tik" . Their god's name was "TIK".
    In most ancient languages, the 'AL' or 'EL' or 'OL' in a name related to worship meant 'god'. : )

    • @LeafofLifeWorld
      @LeafofLifeWorld  11 місяців тому +2

      And Allah is also word for God too :)
      Tikal is the modern name for this archaeological site and reserve but wasn't always the case and was called Yax Mutal before
      "Tikal is a complex of Mayan ruins deep in the rainforests of northern Guatemala. Historians believe that the more than 3,000 structures on the site are the remains of a Mayan city called " Yax Mutal ", which was the capital of one of the most powerful kingdoms of the ancient empire"
      More info on the pronunciation of Tikal here
      ...., though I think how one pronounces it depends on ones accent, and how one pronounces something is not the be all ans end all
