Sorry, i pre-ordered nto the Radius over a month ago and played about 20 minutes before quitting. The control layout absolutely sucks. Using both trigger buttons in the right order while frantically trying to pick up or use objects is frustrating as hell. Also, the big gamebreaker for me was having to press down on the right stick to crouch....that was happening constantly on my worn out, irreplaceable orb controllers, complicating gameplay and making it unplayable without an option to reconfigure.
Thanks for another great news summary! Outside of this channel, it feels like VR doesn't even exist and nothing's going on. I love to see how well you sum up all the relevant news.
There are still so many amazing vr games stuck on Psvr1. It’s frustrating how they don’t even try to port them to the Psvr2. Farpoint, Rush of Blood, Skyrim, Wipeout, Borderlands 2, Hitman Trilogy, Here They Lie, Astro Bot, Blood & Truth and Resident Evil 7.
Being stuck on a distant planet was cool. It was executed very well from the beginning. By stepping right off the ecape pod. By far my favorite PSVR games hands down. Far Point 2 needs to happen. Like yesterday
Far Point was so freaking good and Im pretty sure they set up for a sequel. I wish the PSVR 2 had an aim controller. I dont like having 2 different controllers to hold 1 weapon. makes everything feel like a pistol.
Behemoth looks cool but alien will be my purchase between those two. Hopefully it’s a tense alien game with some combat. I definitely don’t want a wave shooter
Thanks for the friendly comment about our little game! Bringing it to PSVR2 taught us a lot about the platform. The experience was so positive that our next game (which is a more ambitious and higher budget title) is being built with PSVR2 in mind.
I've been in contact with a good majority of them. And a lot of it comes down to the cost of porting their games (which is a lot more than you'd expect) versus the number of copies they anticipate selling on PSVR2. Plus most of them are small teams who don't have time to work on old projects. Neither one of these things should be an issue for Sony though. They have the staff, the money, and the resources to port their first and second party game --- so I don't know what their excuse is

Thanks for the updates. Excited about Exocars but I’m worried it won’t be good on launch. Also, I can’t see a racing game launching on VR without wheel support, let alone any full fledged racing game.
I assume the straight road driving game will be as expensive or more expensive than the flat version? I would give it a go if it was Dead Land VR type of money having played a similar excellent DREAMS game called Gridlock'd for a good few hours unlocking everything. The sense of speed in PSVR was great and it had that one more go thing about it.
That’s what millions of dollars from Sony gets you. Unfortunately most of these studios don’t have that kind of money. And even if they did they’d never sell the number of games it would take to recoup that investment
You telling me if you own minecraft on psvr1, you can no longer play it? Not even in an offline mode, if thats the case, thats an extreme downside ro the modern day gaming industry.
They haven't announced that yet. But I'm hoping it's a full $50-70 game (meaning of course that I hope it has the content and longevity to justify a full AAA price tag) :D
Wish they would bring out an aim controller for psvr2. Sony has it's client base abandoned and are only interested in profit, games are overpriced and few and far in-between and it's new pro is ridiculously priced.

Really hope more aaa racing games come to vr. GT7 is great but I’d love the next Dirt Rally to have psvr2 support since they supported pcvr with 2.0. That first driving game in this video looks so bad lol. Exocars looks fun but definitely arcadey and stripped down.
Agreed, dirt rally 1 on psvr1 is what sold me on VR racing. Now gt7 is how I spend most of my time in vr. Ea wrc 24 is basically the next dirt rally but I passed on it with no VR support. Maybe the next version will be good. Also, not sure how far out the next assetto corsa is but hopefully that supports psvr2 if this generation.
That's really fucked up about Minecraft. It's not even multiplayer is it? Well either way, being able to remotely deactivate a game you already bought is just fuckin wrong (for offline single player modes). Yet another example of how we are so powerless due to digital games, not owning it, not being able to keep it forever on your shelf to play indefinitely.. bad joojoo Thankyou for coming to my Ted Talk.
They probably will but you will have to wait for ps6-pro most likely as what we have now is pretty awesome. I just hope they have learned there lesson on keeping games from previus generations compatible or else! :)

So they've updated the Minecraft thing. They clarified that it's specifically MULTIPLAYER. You'll still be able to play singleplayer.

I spent $6 on the non-VR version of it today (and spent 30 minutes playing it) to get that 20 seconds of footage. So... I can understand :D
