hi sir,i just wanted to ask you:i have applied for SIV from Afghanistan in 2021 and got my approval by 2022,and got 9 update on my case ,after filling ds-260,i had miss of my own and family passports,after completing the passports i sent them to CARE by Feb 2024,but still im waiting for their answer ,i just got the confirmation auto reply, and nothing else ,i dont know what is going on and why the process is getting slow? hope i get a back response on behalf of you! thanks !

My parents went for an immigrant visa interview in June 2023 in Islamabad. They received 221g yellow slip, and asked them to submit ds5535 as soon as possible and returned their passports. We submitted the form next day. We filled their petition in December 2019. Please guide us that how many months we should wait for mandamus action?
My Canadian fiancé and I thought we’d be approved when he went in for his interview on May 23rd in Montreal. The officer told him he was approved but he received an email the next day asking him to respond the questions in the DS 5535. It’s been almost 2 months since he responded back with an email. We emailed the Consulate in Montreal once my father had an extreme medical emergency asking if they could expedite his administrative processing but they didn’t even respond. If we dont get a response by the 90 day mark, would you advise in a writ of mandamus lawsuit?
