I don't paint any Skaven, but I really feel that this tutorial could work with both my grimdark Voltan's scheme and the Necron one, really cool video once again cheers
When i switched from priming black to priming gray, i started being increasingly dissatisfied with my metal areas, and never put the two facts together. Thanks for opening my eyes to this!
It’s one of those things nobody tells you. People preach prime white for yellow , black for dark colours and grey for everything else but it’s something with the metallic flakes in true metallic paint that just look much better over a dark basecoat Another thing you can do is have a test piece of sprue that you can prime in different colours to see how a paint will cover and behave on it
