After the first episode, I wasn't sure what to think of this show. But I'm glad I decided to keep watching!

Joko Anwar confirmed that there are 4 types of entities in NIGHTMARES AND DAYDREAMS:
- Ordinary Humans
- Antibodies
- Agarthans
- Supreme Beings
My theory is that there might be a fifth type, which is mixed blood, like Asti, who is half human and half Agarthan. Perhaps she and Syafin can be the key for the Antibodies to reach Agartha. The reason Panji has the superpower to heal people's wounds might be because he is a reincarnation of "The Twins," which we know can turn old people young, and Syafin is the second reincarnation of the twins, who might help the Antibodies in the future, can't wait for season 2
Why didn't Panji turn into The Banished? The Banished occurs if one of them is unwilling, but if both are unwilling, then The Twins can't do anything. If Panji is not a reincarnation from the death of The Twins, then it's possible that some of The Twins' powers flowed into Panji, enabling him to heal wounded people. As for Syafin, he is clearly a reincarnation of The Twins.This is just fan theory anyway

I enjoyed the show but I think you made a mistake... The little boy Syafin is part of the Agartha members not the antibodies. I really hope that it will be a second season and he will be on it.
Yes, Syafin is the key character that will have to choose if he is either align with the human race or agartha race. He probably will align himself with the Agartha race to protect his mother. He did healed his mom.

But I think that he will align himself with the antibodies because he healed is mother and he surely wasn't supposed to do it as agharthian. Moreover he showed pure love for is mother.... I really hope that it will be a second season soon!
I thought this would be a run of the mill anthology, but i am so glad i watched! It was so good!
Just finished watching it and did enjoy it! How I wish Netflix will give it a 2nd to 3rd season. I'm just wondering on episode 2 if Syafin saved Ipah or not and who is in the Antibodies that is from "The Orphan" episode. There's a lot of questions that needed to be answered by this series!
The opening super of Syafin story says that it is set in 2024 but I think it happened a lot earlier and the title card could be an error. It would make more sense because Syafin seemed to have healing powers and could be an antibody too like the others.
Maybe syafin work at the headquarter as a finance manager to fund their operation and as a healer when a member got injured in a operation.
Ipah gets eternal life given by Syafin at the end of episode 2. Then Ipah transforms into the character of an old woman who meets Valdya in her office, and runs to save Valdya with an injection. in episode 7
@@DangdutCanggih- It couldn't possibly happen as both episode 2 and episode 7 take place in 2024. No way Ipah can turn into an old woman in a year.
@@filmfugitives This could happen because Ipah and Syafin carried out an age transfer ritual like what happened in episode 1. Because Syafin is actually Agartha with 4 fingers. Syafin, who loved Ipah, volunteered to sacrifice his life. Ipah can live forever on one condition, namely that she looks older than she should.
Maybe the hand that comes out of the ground at the end of episode 1 is Syafin

i loved it
in the begining i think this is supranatural , horor and gore tv series but in the end of this tv series looks like became super heroes genre , i think this tv series have some good story but the last episode is kinda cringe , i hope season 2 is have more good story and not too cringed
I liked the last episode. It works because the first 6 episodes were grounded unlike usual superhero stories.. also unlike normal horror anthologies it really connected the stories with the last episode. You might be not a fan of perticular genre (superhero). So, it felt cringe to you. But i think you will also agree, this was something really fresh and new.
how the writer actually built the series is good. it builds into what Agartha and Antibodies are. basically, we are seeing what Ordinary Humans are experiencing for the whole series, while slowly building up the main plot behind those what ordinary humans can see. the Hollow Earth (or demons or cthulhu stuff) plot actually is refreshing to see again.
Is syafin from Agartha or he is someone who have superpowers also?
I think the ending is episode 2 if we rewatch time line in episode 2 its in 2024 its mean the episode 2 is happen after episode 7.
Both episodes 2 and 7 took place in 2024. Cannot tell which happened first.

These characters are all annoying and need to be written much better. They make it impossible to enjoy or like them. They frequently speak and behave unnaturally and ridiculously.
Also, im not sure what side the magical child is on
Aside from the cheesy cgi, this is a very cool idea for a show, but the writers and directors and actors needed considerable rewrites and better preparation. Everything comes off wildly overacted and unrealistic.
