Thanks for the thorough review! Particularly appreciate you playing the B string. (I've been pretty shocked to see a number of 5er demos that completely ignored the B! - Probably done by the manufacturer and they knew it was lacking!)
Great review, thanks so much! Interesting that you mention those minor issues, unusual for Yamaha but easily fixed with some QA process. Great bass for the price range in any case.
Thank you sir, cheers for the comments. Yes, it caught me by surprise too but if it's there, rattling, it needed to be pointed out. Hope all is good with you.
@@BrooksysBassCorner regarding the three imperfections you very helpfully noted: what did you do, if anything, to rectify them in the meantime? One wouldn't want anything loosygoosy on a bass, especially a longscale 5-string. The tuner in particular would drive me crazy. I probably couldn't stop obsessing about it.😅
I have this bass it’s too varsatile if you play this bass you can get james jamerson’s tone with the neck pick up(Precision PU) and jaco’s tone with the bridge PU ( jazz PU) also if you turn the Neck and Bridge volume full with tone around 80-85% you can get those gospel bassists souns

@@GianmarioScotti It wasn't my own bass, just a review model so not my problem to rectify thankfully.

It's a fine bass for the money for sure. Thanks for your comment!
@@BrooksysBassCorner yeah for sure
So overall a 5 string B string sounds better active?
That would be my preference but that's just my opinion.
