Thank you for the information. I bought a pair of Bushnell 10x50 for star gazing. Now I understand why I get so frustrated trying to watch birds with them. 😉
Sonya, I cannot homeschool my kids in the morning, (1st grader, kindergartener and baby) because my husband goes to work at 1 pm and only comes back at 11 pm. So, for him to spend time with the kids, I only start our school work after lunch/nap time. But I see that I cannot have their full attention, and most of the days I cannot have school done. Should I switch to mornings instead? Can you please give me some tips for that problem. Thank you!
How wonderful that your children get to spend focused hours with their father! If you believe adjusting your school to the morning would be helpful, you can do so and still provide a few hours of "dad" time for the oldest. By moving his/her school to the morning, Dad may be able to help you with the baby as well as occupy your kindergarten kiddo while you work with your oldest. Because of the importance Charlotte placed on short lessons, school for your oldest should take around 2 hours (or less) if you include all of the enrichments (picture study, composer, etc). This would provide several "free" hours in the morning for "dad time." We would encourage you to keep any handicrafts and art instruction for the afternoons as these subjects are wonderful tools for afternoon occupations.
This was incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for this video.
You are very welcome!
We have three pairs of binoculars in our house :) My daddy is a biologist, and we were always using them.
