  • As our climate changes, so do the dynamics of our communities and ecosystems. Moving forward, our approaches must reflect the interconnectedness of the pressures. The future is relational and so much will depend on how well we work together...with different entities, with other communities, but also how well we work together within our own communities.
Hear more from the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes' Forestry Department Division of Fire in their podcast episode on Apple & Spotify on the Stories for Action series (podcasts.apple...) and within the Life in the Land film episode on the Seeley-Swan Region at LifeintheLand.org (www.lifeinthel.... Hear about the team's holistic approaches to forest management and integrating their traditional relationship and use of fire on the land...a practice which was suppressed for the past 150 years.
