Thank you...you are the ONLY one I found to break down the cvs reciepts..sometimes I feel that I'm spending alot of money and did not know how to figured to read these reciepts thank u gal....
Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I’ve been wanting to understand CVS receipts since I started couponing a few months ago. You’re a great teacher.
Omg girl 🎉 what a wonderful video and great job explaining the receipt. I definitely have a better understanding now. Thanks to you. Thank you so much for this and keep up the great work. U Rock!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I have been couponing for about 18 months. Am still having issues. I always spend more than what I planned because I'm not using coupons or apps the right way. I never knew how to read cvs receipt, but you just explained very well. I thank you so much. Now I don't have to go crazy doing calculations. God bless ❤ Tasha fron NJ
Still new!! When people hear “write down” and “collect your coupons” it means people doing work. Where do I get it? What am I supposed to write down, how do I know this will work? Ive been couponing since late March (cuz of COVID 19 virus) and it was tough! I ended up making lots of mistakes, but kept pursuing, started with “something” we usually buy and worked my way up. I hope somebody reads this because I’m 24, jobless, and changing careers every time I finally figured what I wanted but I change my mind because it was too damn hard or I lost interest. So I started late March at Walgreens (it’s still complicated to me) went to CVS and because most deals are digital it was easier! (You still need paper coupons though, I haven’t gotten to printing) I went through storming CVS and Walgreens for 1hour or two in the beginning (my brain was all scattered trying to do the math WHILE I shop, it was overwhelming) May 12, 2019 sacrificing my first bit on a particular transaction, and receiving my fake store money (aka in CVS Extra Care Bucks). After many videos and going to the store, I literally just go in and out ASAP when I have a list. Literally UA-cam has people that prepare what’s on special this week and next. Now that I understand the store, I have a system: Step 1: Understand the store/coupons Step 2: do it (make mistakes.) Step 3: watch videos on UA-camrs (Washing dishes, sweeping and mopping if you want to multitask). The videos are 10-15 mins long Step 4: write it down (I don’t like wasting paper, I type it on my iPad notes ICloud) Take my notes to the store with my phone, and buy what’s on my list MUST: Find UA-camr you understand, and speaks your language (BUT after you understand the store. Usually, if the youtuber taught you the store then their weekly videos are beneficial.) MUST: Know how many coupons per item. I just got tide pods free. (Store coupon and manufactured). MUST: Make mistakes and recognize your mistakes. Trust, once you know where you made a mistake, it’s up to you not to repeat it. (My mistake is forgetting to take out my paper coupon so I ended up paying more than I should that’s why I write “MINUS $2 Tide pods PAPER coupon” on my notes hehe) MUST: When doing notes, make sure everything is clipped/written down I hope to learn from Rite Aid. It’s seems to be my next best thing. Transaction: pay the cashier RECEIVE your receipt!! Hint: CVS: Invest in your first transaction, collect ECB, example (small 5/10 Extra Care Bucks) and when you buy, buy the amount of ECB that Equate to the first. Obviously, the rest of the other steps will click. Caution: watch what you spend with CASH. Extra Care Bucks are so you DONT 💰 pay real money from you pocket.
Thank you for the video . I am confused on the tax. What amount is taxed? I will have what I think the tax should be from my subtotal but sometimes its different when I get to register. Thank you in advanced.
I’m so confused. For example, on the second receipt, your coupon savings were $4.66. But you didn’t have any coupons for $4.66 all your coupons were a round number. Also, how long does the limit reached last. Is it just per ad?
My receipts don’t look like that. I’m beyond confused!! I wish I could upload a pic of my receipt so you could help me. I think I’m going to go in to my CVS and ask someone to explain it to me!
One more question. I was applying all my coupons not realizing that I didn’t need them all. For example, I had a 30% off one item at full price. I didn’t know which item they were taking the 30% off of and it doesn’t show up until the end so I used way too many extra bucks. It took them all off on the coupon applied section even though I did not need them all. Do I just lose those?
Never seen a video like this before where someone goes through a receipt and breaks it down. I'm impressed!
Glad it’s helpful! Thanks for the support!
Can you get to the extra bucks coupon? Where is the code?

You are a very good teacher! I love your videos!
Thank you! Glad it’s helpful!
Very helpful video. I love that you figured this out by yourself. Has earned a like on this video
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! I’m getting it! I’m slow n need your kind of tutorial! I stopped watching everyone else. I like the way you teach!
I am so tally to hear that it’s helpful!!!
Coupon savings include ECBs that were used to pay for it. I'm enrolled for digital receipts and it identifies what CRTs were applied against each item
Thanks, that really helped me understand my receipt.
Welcome!
"GREAT", POST!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful

It’s taxed pre coupons so I just calculate my subtotal before tax.
@@KrysTheMaximizer ahhh thank you!

It last for the week. And if I used any extra bucks those are counted like coupons

On the 2% spending, how much of that amount would you get back?
You get back 2% of what you spend
👍
I'm viewing this video 5-20-22 is this still the way they are done and read?
Yes for the most part the receipts are still the same. They have grouped some of the savings together more recently

Yes you will lose your ecbs if you used them and your total was less than the ecbs
@@KrysTheMaximizer :(
What does the letter next to the amount paid mean? Like mine will say T or N or B
Not sure I would need to see it
How do you find the coupon code on your receipt?
What coupon code? The coupons? They are issued by CVS
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
This was helpful however, I used a $3 coupon yet it took off $5 lol
That’s nice!!!!
Is this still relevant
Yes
Returns at CVS suck big time!!! You lose money on returns
Agreed!
The beginning of the video is very very blurry
Sorry!
CVS now sucks.
