Man... You have the most lovely and welcoming smile I've ever seen. That alone warms my heart. It's good to know that people like you exist. People who are genuinely nice and passionate about stuff that many people in my life make fun of. You can tell that there is nothing fake about her. You simply can't fake such a genuine smile.

I'm glad you're doing fine and you're family is doing well.
I'm trying to do well, but it's a slow process since my mother gave up her battle with Parkinson's disease and passed last month. I try rewatching the Naked Truth segment and it felt better. But I miss it so much😢. I tried the podcast version, but it didn't feel right.

I was just googling SSDs and ended up on the Kingston site. I started reading the blurb then noticed the watch video link, which I wasn’t actually gonna watch but remembered something you’d said in this video, and I thought “hey, I wonder if it’ll be Trisha” and sure enough there you were. Saved me some reading and always nice to see you

Honestly, good for Little Man learning typing in kindergarten. Definitely, kids should have less screen time than us adults (developing brains, and all that), but that said, computer literacy is so integral to even the most basic entry-level jobs. Never too early to start programming! 🤓👨🏼💻
Yeah we were an anti-screen time family then pandemic hit and all that went out the window as two working parents with no childcare lol. I'd like to think we still found a balance that works for us. (IE - we play a ton of pokemon but we split our time between the TCG and the Switch and taking walks with Pokemon Go) But yeah, I'm thrilled he's got his "Typesy" program going already.
Glad to see you're doing well. I was sad to see Nerds with Kids die (but I totally get why), especially as more and more creators I follow or have folowed start havings kids (looking at you Max Scoville and Brian Altano)
Yeah Nerds with Kids had to go when UA-cam started getting very strict about content made for or featuring children. We weren't really sure how to wade the legal waters considering the content wasn't made for children but children were featured in it and LaserCorn had read that UA-cam was shutting down people's main channels if they broke any rules, not just the channel with the videos. So we erred on the side of caution and stopped uploading anything with our kids just in case sadly. We all still get together for playdates regularly though! The kids are SO BIG now! Phoenix and Tyler are 7/8 years old!!!

I appreciate the insight. It seems like things are going well for you and your family. My partner also doesn't like to be featured on camera but will do it occasionally for game streaming. Sounds like you are as busy as ever. Thanks for the update. For myself I like watching upcoming game reveals and then following along in chat to see what everyone thinks. The new Star Wars is a game that my partner and I both are going to be playing.
That's cool that your partner will still play with you even though they don't like to be on camera much! And yes, Jedi Survivor looks GREAT. So many great games right now...

Happy to hear you and the family are doing well! I don't get to catch your livestreams often so one idea for this channel (and idk if this is feasible given editing time,) is highlights videos of Gong shows or playthroughs. It's a good way for us to see what you and the community have been up to while previewing to new UA-cam viewers the livestreams and shows you're doing.
Edit: just took a look at your recent videos and it seems you're already making highlights videos. UA-cam has failed me. Carry on kicking butt! 😁💪

probably not sadly... Meg is in TX, Reina is in Japan, Elliott is a world-traveler and some of the OG crew are not on speaking terms anymore or have retired from public-facing life altogether (sad tuba) I still try to stay in touch with folks when I can but I most often see Maude, Steve and Joe for work-related stuffs since they are all still in the gaming/nerd/producing world here in Los Angeles - much love to all of them whether I see them or not though!

I definitely respect keeping your private life and your professional life separate. I confess the whole "Are you and Nate still together?" type questions a bit weird. It's nobody else's business, whatever the answer. I wouldn't just walk up to a stranger on the street and ask something like that.
No one said it's anyone's business or that they're entitled to an answer BUT most people are curious by nature and therefore THAT'S why they ask certain questions.
