    Great video! It convinced me to buy one :) Can you tell me what you use as a trolley? My kayak wheels don't work on this because of the shape of the bottom. They rub.....

    Loved the video review! I just bought this kayak and wanted to film as well where did you buy the camera mount that goes with it?

    • @JillHeinerth
      @JillHeinerth  3 роки тому

      Robert made it from an old articulating arm mount. He had to trim down the cold shoe mount plate with a dremel to make it fit into the kayak's track. Enjoy your boat!

    I have to say, looking at the constuction of the paddle mechanism and other reviews in text form, I'm very curious why I do not see youtube reviews showing the mechanism in detail. From what I can see in pictures there is not a single bearing or wear reduction implement AT ALL. For $1000 I personally would expect at least 2 $10 bearings

    • @russellg1473
      @russellg1473 Рік тому

      Let me add that I may be wrong in my assumption but I would like to see the mechanism in detail. Even the manufacturers website has only 2-3 pictures, it gives me the impression that they are not being totally forthcoming.

    Nice review. That hybrid looks fast. I like that it has a rigid hull and isn't inflatable. I'm just perusing vessels at this point in time. I'm thinking of a 2nd kayak for friends or family.

    ok wow. Looks like you stay quite dry too. I've been looking for a suitable kayak that can accommodate my 12lb yorkie. I'd prefer that he sit somewhere in front of me, in a spot where i can also hook up a little umbrella to shade him. (you know those little ones that twist screw onto a lawn chair type thing) Maybe him sitting down inside near my feet would be better??? Do they make any kayaks where you sit more in the rear so there's more space up front?
    Any suggestions?

    • @JillHeinerth

      There is plenty of room in front of the pedals. You may want to go look at a paddle shop or online at PelicanSport.com

      It is certainly best for pedalling. You can paddle, but we love it for the pedals and having hands free for photography.

    • @JillHeinerth
      @JillHeinerth  3 роки тому +1
