Thank you! 🥰 It’s so nice to have you over for some hot cocoa. Although strangely enough it’s not as cold as it usually is here where I am today. It feels like Spring. 😆
I love everything you make! I also do love it that you make everything from scratch. I totally prefer it over 3D or laser printed miniatures. This is art! Thank you for the inspiration. Happy New Year all!🎉
Happy New Year to you too! 🎉❤ I just knew tiny spoons would be the perfect touch for these little cups but I haven’t made any yet. 😆😆 I hope to add some later. I guess for now we need to pretend. 😁
@@Lauras-tinyview Do you watch Queen City Minis? I know Shyra has shown how she makes her little spoons. Maybe you already have a plan, but she's super fun! 😊
I love your little cottage, it is very cozy. The little cups and cocoa packages turned out great! I would love to have cocoa in a setting like that, I'll be right over, LOL!
Absolutely delightful scene Laura! The way those mugs turned out is a credit to you ingenuity and knowledge of how paper can be manipulated. Wishing you a Happy New Year and continued success with your channel in 2025😊
You truly are amazing, you would never know it's all made from cardstock. This was a lovely make from start to end..❤❤❤❤ What's next !!!! Haha😂 Happy New Year . 🇬🇧 ❤❤❤
Even though it’s unusually warm where I am right now, I thought I’d warm everyone else up. 😆 There is a misunderstanding, today is not my Birthday. It was 3 months ago. 😊 I appreciate the wishes anyway. ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing work as always, it’s hard to believe that most of this beautiful little room is made of paper and cereal boxes, can’t wait to see what your next project will be, Happy New Year, tfs x Julie 🫶🏻🇬🇧
Thank you Julie! I have really enjoyed challenging myself to make each piece along the way out of paper mainly. After I finish the interior of the cottage I plan to move to the outside of it. I have missed working on the Hotel so you’ll probably see some of that too. Happy New Year! 🥳
Such a lovely table! I so enjoy watching you work your cardstock magic, you show that just about anything is possible. Can I put in an order for a lifesized one please? LOL Happy New Year Laura
@@nessiemonstercrafts Aww thanks Nessie you’re so kind! Wouldn’t it be great if we could build what ever we dream up as easily in actual size. 😆 Happy Healthy New Year to you and your family! 🥳
A trick I use with the needle tip glue bottles is I keep a cup nearby with a wet paper towel in it. Then, when I’m not using the glue I put it tip down in the cup and it doesn’t dry up between uses.
When you glue the next paper quilling bit on, say piece B for instance, do you need to let the glue dry before carrying on? Or does it stay in place enough not to matter?
Thank you so much for your sweet compliment. 🥰 I’m very glad you enjoyed it! When you are glueing on a new piece you do not have to wait for it to be completely dry. I just wouldn’t pull it to much. For the cup handle it’s best to wait for it to be dry.
I suffer from chronic depression. I take medication for it, but there are times it flares up. And I feel emotionally numb. I get discouraged. Because I want to create, I some times delete channels during these times. I am also a caregiver for someone with mental illness. So, too many times, there is never enough money or time. Sometimes I delete channels when this happens. I got through it, and I'm glad I didn't delete channels this time. I enjoy watching you, and I hope that things will change, so I can try this.
I am very sorry to hear what you are going through. My parents lived with me almost 10 years until a few years ago. My mother had dementia and my father depression. It’s hard being a caregiver. I am so happy to hear you enjoy watching my videos, a little escape now and then for you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️
@@Suna-q1t Thank you! I use a strip of scrap foamboard, popsicle stick or even cardstock, then I use either two way stick tape or masking tape over it.
If I hadn’t just watched you make the table out of cardstock and paper quilling I would swear you had used wood! So freaking awesome.
Love the cottage, the whole thing is super adorable.

The cottage is just so lovely! Wonderful job with each and every piece!!!

There were no instant "cocoa" packets back in the day. People used pure cocoa (if they could afford it) sugar and hot milk.
You are correct about cocoa back in the day. This cottage isn’t part of my western build. It’s more present time.
