    ...and remember to order extra...I hear the portions have gotten quite small...and if they're going to charge get extra...even if you are going to put in the fridge..order as much as you want.
    Then, have your dinner and put away any cheeses etc., into the fridge for the next time. I plan on bringing some saran wrap and will happily stock my fridge with things from the buffet covered in plastic wrap. Yes, you can't do heated food but you can get a sandwich made and all the cold items and store them...then you don't need the room service save for hot stuff.
    And this can work wonders if you have the drink package! Everytime you are heading back to your room, get a wine or non-carbonated mixed drink, you can have those too and just bring a soda back to mix with it. Bring some paper coasters to cover the drinks from the dollar store and you can literally start filling your fridge with drinks to enjoy in your cabin.
    Whatever you do everytime you are heading back to the room, grab something to store back in the room for munchies and drinks!
    I've cruised on 11 cruises thus far and I wish I had thought of it earlier!

      We want to take “room service” off the ship in US ports for lunch on the go .. so will definitely hit the buffet early !

    I have not cruised since 2019 and am very disappointed to see what Celebrity has changed. They used to be a premium line that included nice amenities in their cruise fees. I can see now they are not. They will be charging a fee for so many things that used to be included. It will make me think twice when I book my next cruise and look at lines that include these things. I hate to feel like I am paying a fee for each and every thing I get. I wonder when they will start charging for the buffet and grill? I have been cruising since 1980 and have been on over 50 cruises. It is a sad state what is happening. We leave in September for our Celebrity cruise. I hope this does not ruin the experience for us.

      I agree, it’s disappointing to see so many “nickel and dime” charges added in this line… but overall I still think it’s one of the best in the world. Hopefully they are listening to their long time customers and they’ll eventually return to pre-Covid service levels. Don’t let it bother you so much it ruins your trip! Cruising will be different for you now, but even with some of these issues - the world is an amazing place to see and cruising is one of the best ways to do it (as you well know as such an accomplished cruiser)!     Thanks for this! Unfortunately, I understand they racked up a lot of debt during the pandemic. One could plan ahead and budget for a couple mornings. When you're off to a super early excursion, nothing will be open. Good to know you can still get coffee delivered. It should have really been better quality since you're paying. But thank you, I'll now know to order double orders of things like the salmon and chicken to make up for the charge.
