The reason the boxes are so large is because not all the Kings 200ah lithium batteries are built with the same configuration. Yours are built using 4x 200ah cells in series, others are built using 12x cells so they're leaving themselves room. ie: ua-cam.com/video/H8X1mcULu5c/v-deo.html

I did and got full custody, care and control of my 4you son some 30 years ago. I raised him alone till he finished univ getting his masters. Nice video, good battery teardown. Like you I find it confusing that the enclosure for the 200 is that big, is it a marketing thing, bigger amps must mean a bigger enclosure? Looking at all the independent reviews the Kings seem to be a seriously underrated battery that performs as good or better than the "Big Name Brand" ones.
Fark mate, it has been tough.. make sure you push yourself to keep busy everyday, even on days off! Get projects done, make time to see family and friends regularly, to help keep you grounded and sane. Is it worth the satisfaction to get a new box made? That’ll make a good storage box for something!
Yea been pushing to keep busy with work a lot latley and also seeing professional help has helped a lot. Much appreciated. Yea not too sure what I'll do with the old box yet lol. And yea the 3d printed box is good just wished it was little bit smaller lol. Got lost in translation with the 3 printer guy
Thanks for the informative video. Was keen to give the Kings 200ah battery a try as it's one of the smaller foot prints out of some of the cheaper 200ah batteries around. Now I've seen your vid I'm even more so now, will open it up and get my own smaller box made. Any tips on how to open the King's box and where to get those terminals for the lid from in your vid? Muller Energy sell those terminals mate, and the lid comes off with screws under screw caps on the lid. The battery will fall out when you heat up the bottom of the battery case with it sitting upside down.

Yeah, these batteries would be much better in a smaller form factor for any market really, pity the dimensions u were after got messed up, it looks like a nice solid structure he has built otherwise. I have used two of these 200A kings for a canopy build & I put them end to end across the headboard area, would have been nice to have a smaller footprint. What BMS are they using here? Is it a JBD? The Kings batteries & inverters are probably sone of the best value for dollar out there at the moment. Keep ur chin up bud. Cheers

Do you still have the small 50ah atem power battery to review at some point? Im keen to see what they're like as i want to do a small 20L fridge setup for my partner in the i30 just to keep the shopping cold since its quite a hike to the local shops for us. If the 50ah lithium is any good i might pick one up

Always remain a gentleman and more importantly, a gentle man especially for your children's sake. I'm speaking from experience as I let my divorce change who I was and became angry. I am 67 yrs old and my 3 kids haven't spoken to me for over 27 years now because they saw my anger towards their mother .Good luck mate. 👍
Life is shit ma man but it dose go on and at the bottom the only way is up. The box is that thick cause these battery's are supper hard to put out its meant to suffocate and mitigate damage ro your vehicle in event of fire

Sorry which atem power 50ah? I've never had atem power one. Do have some cheap ebay 50ah that were supposed to be 100ah
