When I first listened to this song, I thought the English version was superior so I never really bothered listening to this one. But I recently decided to listen to this one since I've listened to the English version too many times and the vocals honestly hit so much harder in this one to me now that I can't go back to the English one without thinking I'd much rather just be listening to it in Japanese.
a lot of people are crapping on the english version but the instrumental is just APDIGHPIDGHIPDGPHIHIPGHPIGDIH artcore was such a good genre choice for a switch fire emblem theme
The english version is good, but the singing is better in the japanese version.

I love the English dub for this game but the Japanese opening is the superior one.
But why? They even carried over the same number of syllables , keepingt the singing rythm the exact same. I personally think the versions are on par and I'm really interested why people prefer the japanese version.

The English speaking performer has a more powerful voice but both are awesome. This song is really great! The Japanese are killing it with compositions for video games man, just really amazing.

Oh god you’ve got all the people already here slandering anything in English and just overhyping Japanese. Don’t worry weebs you’ll get to a point when you stop being so hyper fixed on it and just enjoy the stuff you experience instead of being super weird about it, it’s just a phase that happens to us all.

The English version is slightly better
I mean... I want to enjoy anime in English, but the voice direction isn't there yet, they didn't realize that what needed from voice acting is for them to fit their voice to the genre instead of fitting it to be Japanese, the voice director team seems to be not understanding this aspect altogether.
Try listening to Sekiro, that is a great English dub where they all sounded like they were from that period with the very period mood. No one is being squeaky little girl or an overhyped manchild.
The anime localization voice direction industry needs revolution, currently they don't even understand what they're doing.

The JPN ver is kinda off on 3:39 to me. I hope she's stay in the high note on that part.

She could be saying emotional or sad stuff ( I don't know either )
