    Zeth, Sloan Implement is blessed to have you. Not only are you a Master Tech but you are also a very good instructor, Josh is also a good student and appears to absorb whatever you throw at him. You both work well together. Thanks to Sloan Implement for allowing you to share your knowledge with us.

    Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
    First of all. Josh did great for his first time into one of these. Josh was most fortunate that he had ZK for a teacher. ZK you have these transmissions down my friend. You are a excellent technician and teacher. Sloan,s is most fortunate to have you.
    Good job Josh.
    You two put that unit back together with ease. I would have not known which went to which-ha!!!!
    You both made it look easy. Lots of torquing to do. Lots of seals and snap rings. ALL important steps. Miss one and you have trouble.
    Really enjoyed seeing this put back together. Amazing!!!!!
    Probably one of the best videos I have watched on your channel. Was most interesting. Wow.
    Thanks again to both of you for taking us along.
    Thanks for everything.

    Really is a good series. One thing you said towards the end it made a lot of sense if you know what you’re doing, that’s true on anything you have to be smarter than what you’re working on anybody could take that thing apart putting it back together but there’s probably a very large tech manual that goes step-by-step for you to do that

    Ascot great series thanks Zeke. What would make a great video for us plebs would be an in depth explanation on what the series numbers represent and how you can identify a tractor (size, horsepower, etc) from these markings or any other identification marks. For example, what does 8370R mean and can you work out the size and power. Cheers.

    @marcoscunha6590 Рік тому +1

    Great job 👍I commented before on one off our videos you guys use long extensions to reach the nuts/bolts that you need to torque I’m a GM(Chevrolet) technician for 20 years on our tests/certifications they show us that using long extensions you lose the specific set torque because the extension is too long there is a mathematic equation … to rectify how long the extension you have so you increase your torque so you don’t lose the torque specifications is John Deer torque specs account for that. I think you should account for that maybe the torque wrench instructions/manual has it I have to look into that love the channel and the work you guys perform

    • @dannywilliamson3340
      @dannywilliamson3340 Рік тому

      An extension doesn't affect the torque setting. Using something like a crow's foot that puts the fastener off the axis of the wrench's head will do that, and has to be accounted for.

    We have replaced probably 98% of our hydros in the UK.
    I believe its because we pin our machines down with weight on heavy soils and try to maintain 12 kph that's where the pressures peak and clutches change.
    Most of our customers have changed to e23.

      Key info here. Although these thing are "infinitely variable" they change gears internally still requiring mechanical sympathy from the operator. I'm old school used to allison autos and fujitech PS in the older Steigers and 9xx0 series Case IH. Yes, not infinitely variable but much much older, 7k hrs as mentioned is nothing.

      @ZKMasterTech  Рік тому +1

      I haven’t worked on one yet. I’ve done all the online training on them and I like them better than an ivt. They are built more like a powershift with electric generators/motors on the back to provide the feel of an ivt. No hydro module to go bad inside. It’s just gears and shafts. I would definitely go the EVT route.
