i've never been one to just casually throw around the word 'inspired' but wow. i can confidently say that you inspired me to study graphic design. my stepdad was a graphic designer and i was always rather intrigued by the line of work but you really just pushed me over the edge and into the world of graphic design. thank you for being an inspiration, lindsey. your art is stunning, sending you my love. i hope 2018 treats you well. xx
i'm polish and seeing the bills you designed made me so happy but i have to be honest with you about one small detail. i'd never buy anything having bills designed by you in my wallet, too beautiful to give them away!
Absolutely love watching your GD videos! I was a GD major and graduated this past May so it's always fun to see what you're working on in school. You're doing some great work and your passion for design is wonderful ❤️
your work is so nice to see! as a senior in highschool applying to colleges and looking into studying graphic design, your channel has made me even more excited about going into this field :)
i've been in college for a few years now but this is my first year in the actual graphic design program at my school. your portfolio has such beautiful work! I love the layout and it's so inspiring to me. i think it might help me when it comes to tweaking my own portfolio! keep up the good work!!! :)
Your portfolio is creative, unique, and a great representation of you Lindsey! It truly looks amazing, and I love your work ethic. I also love to see your progression throughout the year and see your creative process
Hello! Wow... that was amazing... I am in a phase in my life right now where I am really rather confused and I have no idea what to do in my life. I got a degree in teaching and I realised that's really not what I want to do in life. After returning back to my parents house, spending days after nights and nights after days crawled in a blanket, shedding tears of hopelessness ( ok, drama queen) adding braces to my below average looks, having to deal with my parents disappointment about how I turned out to be and nagging for not contributing financially to our -Greek- family, and after loosing all willingness to do anything joyful or social, I think the conclusion was that I have no passions or skills. However, I found out that in a dream life scenario, I would like to be doing something that involves some kind of design. Industrial design, graphic design, interior decorating, illustration, comics, animation even elements of marketing and business are things that I find exciting and simply put, "cool" jobs not the kind you force yourself to do everyday because you're stuck and you have to pay your bills. However I am so scared of this whole spectrum of things for a lot of reasons. First of all it is all so unknown to me. This is an underdeveloped field in my country and there are almost zero places you can study unless you pay enormous amounts of money. Also, as you can obviously see, I don't even know my options that well, and I don't have a clear vision of who I want to be and what in particular of these things I want to expertise in. Also, and most importantly, I can't even draw. Which is crucial for these type of schools. I literally have no skill in any of those areas. Can I still pursue a career in these areas at age 23? And where do I even begin? *sorry for being so whiny, if anyone actually goes through all this trouble and reads/or responds to this, I would honestly be unbelievably grateful.
I'm currently in highschool for graphic design, and I really really love these project ideas. I think I will be using them for some free time during breaks in class.
I don't know if you have a video on this already but I loved to see a video on your inspirations and how you stay inspired. I'm a film major and really enjoy photography and always find myself being uninspired. Thanks!
Omg I'm from Poland and I've been watching for like 2 years and the fact that you inluded those bills in your portfolio is so coool and they 're just amazing 😍😍😍 Love u Lindsey 💗
I go to a vocational highschool so I’m taking graphic design courses throughout my high school life. I think it’s really cool that seeing things that I’m starting to learn as a little high schooler being used by an adult and making money off of it.
You've got a great portfolio as far as I can see and always show your design process It helps client/people understand how you got to final product which will boost your chance of getting more attraction. Keep up the hard work !
This is cool because I just graduated this year with a Graphic Design degree so its always cool seeing a fellow artist's work. Also the variety of different projects at a different school. :D
Gosh I’m soooo obsessed with what you do! Your doing exactly the kind of work I want to do in the further soon! So inspirational and kind of relieving to see you doing it! Your doing amazing things. KEEP AT IT!
Wow! Seeing our currency re-designed was so heart warming and such a surprise. First video on your channel that I found and already something that made me so happy :)
You can say that my course in high school is graphic design and honestly the main reason why is because my dad has his company that does these things like printing, designing, making stamps, making banners, medals, business cards so I already have a job if I want it but the problem is that I lack creativity.I was never creative and we usually get already done works and we just practice them and the techniques but as soon as I have to do something on my own it looks really bad.I also dont have any motivation to practice which is on of the things I should work on this year.
That project with polish currency is super pretty and i feel connected with it because i am 100% polish gal born and raised there. Your graphic design videos are one of my favourites maybe because graphic design in polish university seems so different from what you are doing in the us
I'm a 30 year old with a BFA in photography who has gone back to school for graphic design and this inspired me so much. Thank you. Also, you are fucking talented!!!!
I dont really have much of it personally, but you can see some on the @toofaced instagram! I did the vinyl stair design in the office if you can find it
its a really awesome portfolio but i think that you need more pictures in context ie a person HOLDING the menu you made and pictures of printed out versions of everything!! it totally makes everything look so professional and helps people understand how these digital creations can be used
this is soooo amazing! I don't even study anything related to graphic design (Tourism and Business yay!) but I just love art and your work! It's so amazing and inspirational😍😍
As a fellow [and far less talented lol] design major I love watching your videos. You really talk about design and university with so much joy and passion. There are so few videos that really explain or even touch on being a graphic designer and getting to watch your journey is so helpful. I was just wondering what programs you typically use for your digital work? Also if you feel like there’s enough content to put in a video about how you utilize your iPad that would be super helpful, I recently got one and would love to learn some new tips and tricks. :) have a happy new year!
Haha I strongly agree with the not numbering pages, my current portfolio has numbers and reprinting the ENTIRE thing every time I make something I am proud of is getting tedious haha
I came across this video and as a designer-consultant myself (Packaging - branding). I thought this would be interesting to check out. If I can give you my two cents, I think you're making a classic mistake, of trying to showcase a lot of variety and different things that you're interested in. Knowing the broadness off the field, I think you should narrow down and be more specific. Meaning, specific in certain fields of design. Cause doing it all is just a waist of time. Find what you're most attracted to and master that. Then I think you'll have much stronger portfolio in the future and so many opportunities will open up :) Best of luck! Btw I like that Polish Bill too. It looks clean. Great work on that one!
Lindsey, since it’s a new year and all I️ think it would be a good video idea for you to make a bullet journal video since you’re have more of a professional perspective into a vast variety of unique ideas!😌🌱 it would be beneficial to many
Hi Lindsey, This is the first time I've come across your videos so forgive me if you've mentioned what I'm about to ask in another video ^^|| I've recently had a passion for design developing within me, and I really want to pursue it as a career. I am the same age as you but unfortunately I'm not really in a financial position to go to university yet, and I've been told that student loans really aren't worth it. I was hoping that you could give me some pointers on where or how I should start refining my skills (I already know how to use Photoshop and I'm currently learning Illustrator and InDesign), and also if you have any more ideas - or know where I can find some - on 'fake' projects to do for my portfolio, like the ones you did such as the event map and such. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks! Beryl.
Love that you share so much of your passions, such a refreshing thing to see someone so sincere and genuine. Would love to see how you journal in a video at some point! 💘💘
This video is very helpful to me. You are so talented and inspirational. I am looking to get into the graphic design field and am working on building my portfolio.
Trying to make a portfolio for my college tour at SAIC 😬 so stressed trying to figure out what to bring since I do graphic design I’m on a magazine for my school and have photography I’ve done...etc I only have a couple days to put it together! I like the layout of your portfolio!
I know Im randomly asking but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Korbin Zavier i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I absolutely love this video and all of your work! Such an inspiring thing to watch in the New Year as I am putting together my first CV and maybe a portfolio soon too!
can you make a video on how you decided on graphic design for your major/things to know about the major? i’ve been thinking about majoring in graphic design but am interested in learning more about it
I am obsessed with all your work! I follow your tumblr and design instagram bc I love to see your work even though I’m not pursuing anything near graphic design😂
I would try to get the work you did from your internship for your portfolio later. I always pull my work from the drive or whatever before I leave a job when I was interning and temping.
My school is taking their honors design kids (me) to Chapman since our new design teacher was a teacher at Chapman for graphic design! Hopefully I see you there :-)
your portfolio is so nice! i wish i could study graphic design at university in france...most of the time you have to go through a private school to study graphic designs and that's like 7000euros a year (when university is like 400euros a year in france).
i've never been one to just casually throw around the word 'inspired' but wow. i can confidently say that you inspired me to study graphic design. my stepdad was a graphic designer and i was always rather intrigued by the line of work but you really just pushed me over the edge and into the world of graphic design. thank you for being an inspiration, lindsey. your art is stunning, sending you my love. i hope 2018 treats you well. xx
thank you! that means a lot, good luck ❤️
i'm polish and seeing the bills you designed made me so happy but i have to be honest with you about one small detail. i'd never buy anything having bills designed by you in my wallet, too beautiful to give them away!

The redesign of Polish currency is beautiful 😉 congrats from a fellow Pole 👌🤗
the laced up pattern from the cosmic goth collection would make such a nice wallpaper for phones!!! they're all so cute
We are fellow Panthers as well. It's exciting to see talented young artists coming from that school.
You've got a great portfolio as far as I can see and always show your design process It helps client/people understand how you got to final product which will boost your chance of getting more attraction. Keep up the hard work !
Totally adore the “Gypsy den” restaurant design! So freaking cool with the spikes
This is cool because I just graduated this year with a Graphic Design degree so its always cool seeing a fellow artist's work. Also the variety of different projects at a different school.

Wow! Seeing our currency re-designed was so heart warming and such a surprise. First video on your channel that I found and already something that made me so happy :)
i applied for graphic design and I'm now working on my own portfolio so this was super awesome to see!
I'd love to see a video in which you talk about the process of looking for and applying for graphic design internships and the experience!

Are you allowed to share the work you did for too faced?! :)))
I dont really have much of it personally, but you can see some on the @toofaced instagram! I did the vinyl stair design in the office if you can find it

I really want to be a graphic designer. I'm so happy I could finally watch a video about it

Thank you for sharing! You gave me some ideas for my own portfolio layout. I love your idea of having a quote and other designs that inspire you.
This is so cool!! I’m a theatre design student and it’s so interesting to see the crossovers!
I came across this video and as a designer-consultant myself (Packaging - branding). I thought this would be interesting to check out. If I can give you my two cents, I think you're making a classic mistake, of trying to showcase a lot of variety and different things that you're interested in.

Hi Lindsey,
This is the first time I've come across your videos so forgive me if you've mentioned what I'm about to ask in another video ^^||
I've recently had a passion for design developing within me, and I really want to pursue it as a career. I am the same age as you but
