There is already enough anger, blood, and anxiety in the world... No one really needs more of this! BABYMETAL is mostly about joy, positivity, and inspiration. Sometimes also pure fun. This is probably one of the main factors, why they are so addictive.
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 Even though the song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first rock concert, Su was only fourteen when this was recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was on stage, rather than attending concerts. Both Yui and Moa got to take over on lead vocals for this song on the shows closest to their fifteenth birthdays. They've got other songs that have more brutal riffs, and quite a few that are more technical. What I like about 'Headbanger!!!' is that it's a straight up rocker.
Some lyrics: WITH RAVEN HAIR, TANGLED EVERYWHERE, LEGENDARY, GORGEOUSLY. THIS FLOWER SOON DISAPPEARS FROM ME. FRUITLESS, BLOOMING CRAZILY. IT'S LEAVING ME WON'T COME BACK AGAIN. SUDDENLY IT'S VANISHING. BUT I WON'T FORGET. ETCHED IN MY HEART. THIS SPECIAL NIGHT MY FIFTEENTH. I'M JUMPING DANCING IN THE AIR. HEADBANGEEERRR!!!!!!
As mentioned, the song is about a 15 year-old girl going to a concert, so Moa & Yui each got to sing part of the song on their 15th birthday. Moa singing at the end: ua-cam.com/video/tfuKc066Hao/v-deo.html Yui singing at the end: ua-cam.com/video/mumo40mOxzI/v-deo.html
My favorite part of the choreography is how MoiMoi crank a ponytail with one hand while throwing kitsune with the other- they’re actually cranking it to 11!💪🏻🤘🏻
This song, by the way, is about a 15 year old girl whos about to go to his first rock concert. There are some special versions of this song. Yui and Moa, for instance, sang this song at gigs they had around their 15th birthdays. And there is a version (not very metal-like, though), which I really like because the video from this performance drew me into BABYMETAL: *"Ave Maria / Headbanger! Night of 15 Version"* live at Legend 1997 ua-cam.com/video/OWggmY2BDhE/v-deo.html
Another great reaction, thanks. This is such a good track - you should check out the official video now to see how the neckbrace comes into being and find some more live versions (the live at legend 1997 is a really good one) ... react to them if you want, I know I'd like to see it, but even if you don't do reactions do them for your own viewing pleasure at the very least.
Welcome back 😊 Please react to Babymetal-Ijime Dame Zettai live in Sonisphere,U.K #2014 Their first live concert outside Asia When Su-Metal was 16 years and Moa-Metal and Yui-Metal both 14 years
Awesome reaction, but this was the least intense version you could have choosen. There are so many live versions of this on this tube with way more energy in it. I never watch compilations.
BabyMetal relation: Way down the BabyMetal “Fox Hole” SuMetal/Suzuka sang with her one and1/2 year older sister at their real school the Actors School Hiroshima. They called themselves Tween. This was for a grade. Listen very closely to their voices. ua-cam.com/video/UOs3viJRurM/v-deo.html
"they are very beautiful" Well, they all did multiple things in the entertainment industry, including modeling as a child. These 'little kids' already had a full career before Babymetal got started ! Suzuka is the most extreme example she was 12 when Babymetal got started, she almost had 10 years of experience being part of the entertainment industry already because she started when she was 3 !
Bounty Hunnterz And then some people were still saying in 2016, Babymetal was "just some overnight success" because of a gimmick. LOL Even Babymetal by then was already on it's 6th year. It takes real talent and hard work to get where they are. The gimmick, for lack of a better word, just gets you attention, longevity depends on those other factors.
Hello Dookie-Metal! Semper Fi, Brother! I was in the Navy at 17! Glad to see you! There are a lot of new people reacting to Babymetal now, your subs will probably skyrocket! I hope you had a chance to check some of the links I posted. Keep it up, Marine!
I'm good, thanks! I have been trying to teach myself Japanese for a few months because I am a geek, and yesterday had something playing on the computer (an interview with the drummer from Maximum the Hormone). I was in the other room, and had the sound to where I could hear it and realized that I understood the general topic of what they were talking about! I was floored! Looking into Rosetta Stone now...!
That is so awesome. I should look into doing something like that since most of what I am reacting to is in Japanese. I also wouldn’t need subtitles to watch my anime. Lol
It's actually not too difficult. There are several things to consider. First as Japanese and English don't translate very well, you have to think in Japanese to get the nuances. Also, I have come to realize that they don't have a lot of words for something. For example, we have tons of words for the same things, (partly also because English is really made up of several languages) but Japanese only really has one word for things. What comes before or after is what provides the context. Take the band Ningen Isu (which you still need to react to!) It means Human Chair. It is the name of an old Horror story in Japan. Anyway, Ningen (人間) means Human. Also it means people, human, each person, personal...you get the point. So, as in my case today, there were several words I understood, putting them together gave me the general idea. I went and rewound the video a minute and read the subtitles (I was in another room when I heard it so I could only hear it) and I was right, she was talking about when she had her baby. It was an amazing feeling to be able to understand, and encouraged me to keep studying! That's how Marty Friedman learned, he just decided to teach it to himself, he is fluent in Japanese.
Richard Townsend Yes, Ningen Isu, also great: ua-cam.com/video/CLoUY1kA4ZY/v-deo.html :-) Do you know how long Marty took to become fluent ? And all that time living in Japan (which makes a huge difference).
I love babymetal! If you want another Japanese band that is skilled as fuck, check out Band-Maid. It's hard rock, but on point. Start with Play live or Take Me Higher live. So fucking good!
wait wait ... did i hearing it right ? you " want " intense Headbangeeerrrr! ? for me #1 Headbangeerrr! at Red Night Budokan 2014 it's when " The Yui Falls " happens and #2 Headbangeerrr! at Metrock 2015.
Here’s two links to videos you must see: 1. “The One” and “Tales of the Destinies” in front of 55.000 kitsunes at Tokyo Dome. It’s two songs that were originally meant to be one, the latter is their fan anthem. It’s long (20 minutes), but you should watch it as a whole. It will make you cry! www.dailymotion.com/video/k7Ly7LnxsVI3dbmioIq. 2. “In the name of”, their current intro song. This is from the start of their Legend S show. After having watched it you’ll be referring to it as the most epic scene you have seen in your life: www.dailymotion.com/video/x6h5yo6. Beware, though, both are likely to conjure up the Amuse police. If you do a reaction video, you should mute it and give a countdown. It will be worth it, though!
This might interest you the only difference between Babymetal and heavy metal in Japanese is too little marks. The word play in Babymetal is awesome, you have a great day.
For the curious: へビーメタル “hebiimetaru” is a variant of ヘブィメタル “hevimetaru” borrowing from “heavy metal”; ベビーメタル “bebiimetaru” is the band’s name. The only difference is the ゛ mark on the first character.
I’m late to your BabyMetal Party. Are you ready to go down one level in the BabyMetal “Fox Hole”? Sakura Gakuin where BabyMetal was formed. This is a crazy dance with the full unit of 10 girls in Sakura Gakuin 3 of witch are the BabyMetal girls. Moa and Yui are in Black tee shirts. SuMetal/Suzuka is in a white tee shirt with a yellow sunflower and SuMetal’s friend from her girl group Karen Girl’s (oops another level of the BabyMetal “Fox Hole”) Ayami has a white tee shirt with a red flower. ua-cam.com/video/H0imue5uHiw/v-deo.html BabyMetal was a club within Sakura Gakuin at this time. Moa and Yui were also in “Twinklestars with SuMetal’s friend Ayami during this time.
Oh yeah gotta do "Babymetal Death!" ua-cam.com/video/jRc9dbgiBPI/v-deo.html . there are also Babymetal 'purists' as well. who think the newer stuff is no good for various reasons.
Please do react to PassCode - Taking you out ua-cam.com/video/Wmt86RKEkuY/v-deo.html it's brand new, just released 3 weeks ago. Also you haven't check all New Babymetal songs like Distortion,Tatto,Elevator Girl and In the Name Of (Live shows)

Thanks xD

Babymetal is the best thing to happen to rock music in a long long time.

Now go check out the original official video, they are so young and it's so cute to see them rocking and headbanging LOL.
I will do that today. Thank you

Glad you are back again bro! Your play que must be CRAZY by now! lol...
It’s pretty crazy but manageable.
for Yui's and Moa's 16th b-day they sang that song. there are videos up about the concerts they did that.
Neck brace tribute to X Japans drummer. Also one hell of a way to celebrate turning 16.
The joy in this song when you are there is immense.
I can only imagine what it is like being in the crowd at one of their shows, the energy seems amazing.
And it doesn't stop between songs. From opening to end it's pure energy. A must see show.
Nice to see Yui in the video!!! I like this three pieces.
