Since it is the same price as a seasonal box, I wouldn’t buy an all mystery box. When I started as an annual member in 2017, you couldn’t fully customize your box. I have received many items over the years that I did not want. I am happy we can fully customize now.
Thank you for sharing. No, I would not do a mystery box like that either. I did do a mystery product in Summers box. Not something I cared for.
I love it too. When I joined we could only customize 3 items!
I have a silk pillow sleeve. For curlies it really helps us keep our curls fresh and cuts down on the frizz. I use it for travel, and it works great. My home one is a regular zippered pillow case.

If ever, there are items, I don’t have to have in my box like I had to have the Vegamour this time, I’ll definitely do all mystery choices.
I think the mystery choices in each category might be a better option (mystery wise) as they are products that aren’t from the box, complete mystery. I think it would be really cool to see a whole box where all the selections were the mystery choice, it would be interesting to see all the products you got. I also wonder if they have a set mystery product for each customisation because the mystery choice can run out! Would also be interesting to see two people do the same category mystery choice to see if they got the same product! I agree though it’s better to be able to customise your box then to choose the box from the sale - don’t see any benefit in the sale box as it’s the same price as a subscription where you get to choose.
If ever, there is a box where I am happy to let it all be a mystery. I’m on board with this. I tend to think the same way… Since they run out of items, it must be one thing that they use.
I'd love to see the mystery choices from within the actual selections. I heard they wouldn't be items from the category, be interested to know if that was true.
I got the refill home mystery bundle this time and I'm in the UK. Ours was no way as good as yours in the US, much lower value items, we got a plastic lazy Susan, a white board and wooden salad spoons.
UA-camr SheCrafty selected the mystery choice for each category. I recall they were different items then the regular selections for the box.
I got a $30 credit last time. I have not scratched this current ticket.
I would not be brave enough to buy a mystery box. I have purchased of mystery bundles and have gotten burned. 🔥

The blankets this season remind me of table cloths. I didn’t order one, but that’s what I would try it as.
They do kind of look like table cloths!

An all mystery box should be cheaper than the seasonal box, especially since the value is lower and we all know they’re giving you the least chosen items. A lot of the most popular items have likely sold out once the seasonals pick!

My box came in a heap. The Color FX was broken and they credited my account. Thanks for the well wishes. I have arthritis and Fibromyalgia, had a flare up, but doing better now. You did well with your boxes.

I love this box! Can’t wait to get mine. I don’t think the pillow sleeve would work for me. I have very long hair and can picture waking up with my hair in between the pillow and sleeve.😂

If you had made a box with just mystery choices it would have been completely different. I picked the mystery choice for the second category and received the Ole Henriksen Body Moisturizer.
I still think that would be fun box to do!

Kathrin, it’s worth getting the mystery box when you like 80% of the items in the box. For example I did it for the 10th Anniversary year FFF Spring Box. We got to be smart with our money. Thank you for another great video. Fingers cross the Winter Box is Amazing!

Not sure getting a mystery box like this would be my way to do it. Like you said, it's not any cheaper, it's the same products, and you don't have any control.. I've seen some people who have chosen the "mystery item" for one or more categories and they got things not listed in the category and some of those were nice. So maybe if you had a second subcription and did that it might be fun!
If ever, there’s a box why I don’t need additional selections I will definitely do it with my second annual box!
I got the hand and body wash too. The scent was OK when I smelled it from the container, but once on my body, the scent disappeared.

Like you, I also prefer to have control over what I get but I have 2 annual subscriptions and only wanted 1 item from customization 1 and 5 so I chose mystery. I only received 1 box ao far and the customization 1 mystery item I got was glow recipe watermelon night treatment. I'm not mad about it lol

That was a lot of fun to watch. They sent me a mystery box one time after a customer service mess, and it was nice but I only kept one item and donated everything else. I think your box had a good selection, esp the throw blanket.

The mystery items were the things I didn't want. So, I'm happy with my annual and full customization. Guess I'm controlling too! lol I don't like surprises especially wiith products. Sometimes I do have a hard time choosing things I love but once I get my FFF box (Aug. 6th this year) I love it all. Never had any problems with missing , wrong or broken items. The only box I get. I love the refills! I get the 3 spongelles and their hand lotion. The sponges started with different seasonal scents which is really nice. Have a great weekrnd. Love ya ❤❤❤

I would love to see an all mystery selection box, since it would be different items than what is offered in the selection process. I did receive one mystery item for selection 2 with the fall box. It was Farmacy Honey Halo moisturizer, which I can’t wait to try.
I’ll for sure do it if there’s a season when I don’t mind not ordering any of the customization choices!!

The Cuccio hand and body soap isn’t my favourite either. The smell was disappointing, it doesn’t lather at all and dries out my hands. I gave it a 1 star. It was valued at $39.00 which is crazy!
It was an unfortunate scent!! I’d rather use soft soap…lol
I got another seasonal just to get the wine glasses, but I enjoyed having control over at least 4 items. And the 2 items FFF picked for me were my top picks, the shower steamers and ring box.. sometimes get get lucky but it’s a gamble :)

Lol…I get a lot of questions about these uncustomizable boxes so this was a fun way to check them out.
I would never do this type of mystery box. But i like the mystery selections in the customisation because they aren't things from the box now. I didn't like anything from one category so i chose the mystery and got a shampoo and conditioner valued at $72. So that's would be a fun box to see if you picked all mystery

I did a mystery choice back in spring or summer for customization 5 I think because I literally didn't like anything in the category. It was skincare heavy with all of my other choices being skincare I was really hoping for something fun and exciting but no they sent me a Blume clay face mask. I didn't mind the brand or the product but man was I disappointed that thats what they chose for me. And I got my first mystery bundle add-on with my fall box and it was kinda bleh. Gave 2 of the 3 items to my 9 year old. K rant over lol

I love that pillow sleeve ❤but I have a memory pillow and I don't have a problem keeping it on like other sleeves I've tried. You got a great box! And you have some good gifts!
Someone also suggested selling one side of the case closed. That might help too.
@kathrinmccarty6784 it is on the smaller end, so it doesn't fit larger pillows. My friend ran into that problem.. when she sealed up one end. She altered it to fit her sleeping bag pillow.

The scent is just terrible. I don’t think I’ve ever had a body product in a box that I just couldn’t use but I can’t use this.

I got that hand/body wash and I made everybody smell it because I thought it smelled like take-out food..lol

The hand wash was the only dud for me in my box. I loved the candle, perfume, and lip butter scents. To me the wash smells like an industrial cleaner, chemically, sort of hospital mop solution meets toilet cleaner, with a hint of rosemary (they don't list rosemary as a scent, but I don't smell sandalwood or sage). I don't smell Chinese takeout though, so maybe there are batch differences? 😊
It just smells so odd to me. I was trying to place it. I’ll have to smell it again tomorrow and see if I get industrial cleaner. It’s completely possible but I knew I did not really care for it.
I got a silk pillowcase from amazon that has a ZIPPER closure on it! Best idea ever! However, my pillow does like to slide away from me as I sleep, now 😂
My silk pillowcases have a zipper on them also. I think that might be the difference between our real silk pillowcases and the satin sleeve. I love my silk pillowcase.
I chose the kat von d eyeliner too. It is my favorite eyeliner. I think that the mystery box is not a good choice for you since you already have 2 boxes coming. If you had only 1 box, it might be less repeats. I have that pillowcase in pink and it slips off. I like choosing my items.❤
I am thoroughly enjoying the eyeliner. Someone suggested sewing one of the ends shut on the pillowcase, not a bad idea.,

It says $147 every season. I don’t know why they do that. It threw me off as well. The only value of the mystery box for me in Canada I don’t have to pay the extra $8 in shipping and it seems to trigger my boxes to be sent sooner, because they are already pre-made, but now that they have the themed boxes that’s way better, you can customize around a themed box because you know what’s coming..
Interesting on the pricing. The themed boxes are amazing. I can see getting those if they suit!

I don’t see the value. I was happy though that I chose a mystery choice in one of my selections and it ended up being the OleHenricksen body moisturizer. Did anyone get the Mood perfume; and if yes, do you like it? I don’t see the appeal in it. It’s not very strong and the scent isn’t that great 😂

I got the hand wash and was disappointed. The fragrance is very faint. I would have enjoyed much more. I would have rather used the money for a bottle of nicely fragranced Method hand soap. Yep, quite underwhelmed. LOL the thing is: I trusted this brand, as in the past I've loved their other fragranced items, and bought a 2nd bottle for $8. Umm, I'll use it. Hand soap is hand soap. But geez. Nope.

I don't really get the point of this. If the box was cheaper, maybe, but otherwise, it seems fairly pointless to let someone else pick and potentially get products you don't like!
I feel the same way. Unless you are 100% in it for the surprise I would definitely want to build my own box.
