For me, the worst was the Chilean. The message this person is giving out is horrible. Like lacking the emotional intelligence to tell physical attraction from love.
That Argentinian girl was right on the money...never drink a drink thats been opened. You never know what been dropped into it.
I’ve been telling my daughter this since she was a little girl.
Unfortunately ... it was not like that say, 50 years ago, BUT then the parents used to tell a daughter on a date NEVER EVER DRINK but water, a soda or a fruit juice (and that if you EVER had a date).
I was at a party recently and I was behind the counter with the bartender and this girl was sitting on the stool with her drink. There’s a group of people and we’re conversing. I think she turns around for like half and second… then turns back around and has the audacity to ask if her drink just increased in volume multiple times as if accusing us of something 😂 she was hammered obviously
From an older man who has many years of experience dating this is my advice: Take your time. Don't be quick to follow your heart but instead learn to listen and go by your gut feelings. Everybody is looking for something, and just about everybody is pretending to be great and hiding their bad attributes. Narcissistic people are most often the most attractive and charming. You have to learn to read through their disguises and this takes a lot of experience and reflection. Don't dismiss the subtle clues ... especially those that comes from their friends and associates.

Best dating experience I gathered during the years as a female: Don't wait for the guys, just live your life as wholesome and happy as you can. Be kind to them, but don't take them seriously (get involved too much emotionally), until they actually commit.

I absolutely love my children but my siblings and even my mom have screwed me too many times for me to trust them. How I treat them has more to do with protecting myself than how I treat people in general
I remember I was pretty sweet on this guy, let's say we were still in the courtship phase lol, we were talking on the phone and being all lovey-dovey and then I hear him *shouting* to his mother to bring him water and then in a very rude way told her to close the door *properly*, that is when I knew he was only good for an occasional ego boost, never saw him in person ever again.
My Russian grandma always tells me keep an eye on a drunk man and his behavior. If he is aggressive then just leave him, if he is friendly it's a good guy, and I suppose, she doesn't mind if he drinks too much in general, that's how her generation picked a partner for life lol

Russian cultural thing is about "not smiling to strangers". If you are on a date with someone the person is obviously not a stranger and without smiling it will not go good.

As a romanian I have received the same talk, treat a girl well. However, never got the talk of how girls behave with you. Got a lot of shit through time and suffered because of it... A lot. So stay positive, treat her well but respect yourself first.

The Argentine lady (maybe portena) is the only good advice..the German and danish too. Few others. Most too liberal or too conservative. The rest is based off perceived images/preemptive strikes or fear/awkwardness of their parents.

One of my friend mom and dad took him to one of there distant relative house,
my friend parents told him that they are visting them becuase they had not seen them for a long time.
when they finally came to relative house, they asked the girl to come and my friend to sit besides her and put a ring on her hand.

Dating is, by definition, knowing strangers you may fall in love with. If you're already in love you're not dating - he/she may be dating you, you are chasing him/her.

You give it away for free, you get treated cheaply. That's your personal decision of course, but you can't argue the fact that your worth is devalued automatically.

It seems quite the opposite - instances of domestic violence are lower now per capita than they were in the past, women are more often important and respected leaders in companies and governments, and so much more. Obviously there’s still a long way to go, but I don’t think there’s anything to suggest that men previously valued women more than they do now.
