Who doesn’t want one of these!
All credit guys, this is the stuff of dreams 👍
Great video Dave good idea letting other clubs run there stock on MT4😊
great vlog running trains on great layout
Thanks for a great night out from all of us the Rainhill MRC, we all enjoyed the evening and many said it's a great idea to get out to see what others in the hobby are doing. Many thanks to the owners of the St Helens corporation double decker we came on ,this can be seen at The North West Museum Of Road Transport in St Helens which reopens 2 Feb 10 till 4 then every Sunday
I will never tire of watching on board camera footage.
It's a great idea letting local clubs run their locos
Aah, so that's what the camera on the flatbed thing was all about! I can see myself at various points, getting my own footage in! 🤣
With many thanks to the guys at Making Tracks 3 for hosting us.
What great tracking footage, thanks for sharing.
When I saw GT3 at Crewe, way back when c. '60''s, it was in a brown livery. Nice to see it in green livery in this video.
Brilliant video. Is there a video which shows the details of the camera wagon and how it's built, how it pans, and so on?
I see even the best will still have a few dead spots and some catch points on their layout. Must be exciting to run your trains on the layout.
Great footage but, Dave, you’ve missed a trick.
Instead of running the camera waggon on the inside circuits try running it on the fast lines with the object trains running on the slows, then you get the models with the back scene doing what its designed to do resulting in a far more realistic outcome. By running the camera on the slows gives the effect of being in the Land of The Giants.
What is most impressive was the lack of rail gap noise on this layout, especially at the board joints, great work
Is there a possibility of running my own stock on a daytime visit? I’m booked in for Monday 23rd. I’m bringing my Mum along and I have an A3 renumbered as Victor Wild, her Dad’s name, hopefully HM7000 txs fitted in time. Thought it might be a nice surprise for her if possible. I’ve also treated myself to LSL 57311 for Christmas and fitted the Institution nameplates, hopefully I can get it running smoothly with a dcc decoder at the weekend.
Camera car out of gauge with the 150 unit ouch, Oh the Gas Turbine GT3 nice!!!
Camera car needs maintenance ! Oiling.
