Handing someone that to use steam share play... I hope it actually exists, or someone from China is seeing that we need this BADLY.
@@BasilMendoza-nj3vy Yes. If that's what it takes to exist now instead of 10 years later like the dual screen concepts and the curved displays. All of this junk people are drooling over are concepts that existed at least around 2009, and could have been done if bezels were something you could get rid of.
I'm surprised the curved smartwatch didn't make more of a comeback, but smartwatches overall have taken a dump.
Project Duet looks siiick, incredibly ergonomic and functional, with the keyboard at the bottom it looks like the new zenbook.
That double screen laptop is awesome, I would love this for music production!
A company like Dell making a roided-up Switch really inspires confidence. Their machines are mostly boring, but I've also always had great experiences with them. I'm definitely interested in grabbing one, especially assuming it has video out.
It has video out since Mike was playing on a external screen on the HardwareCanucks channel video.
Holy cow. Didn't figure on seeing you here Adahop. Go Neebs ;-)
@@cjkillintime6131 Yep! I've watched LTT since like 2014. Even thought about applying to them before NG :P
@@Adahop Wow Word been watching both channels forever. Great editing as always.
Alienware UFO/Switch
1) Don’t make a trash locking mechanism
2)Make it able to revive SIM card so I could take it to my provider and have service on the go.
That’s all I got rn but it’s pretty cool
And also have the option to buy it
I have to admit, usually I ignore ads at the end, but this time I stayed, and this Pulseway ad with Colton at the end was quite enjoyable
4:30 actually like the “laptop” w/ 2 touch screens w/ Bluetooth keyboard. Could see some uses for that already. Was hoping intel released their dual screen laptop that rose....rises....lifted up? 🤔 😆 But it looks good.
Cheers
It's great until you go to close it and forget to remove the keyboard.
Seems perfect for Windows 10 X tbh
I just thought about using a ds emulator on there.
id like it. I work remote, would be cool to have something like that + my 1 external monitor i keep in my backpack so i can travel more.
0:15 I want the option to dock the Project UFO and connect a standard HDMI cable to an HDTV and attach the joy-cons to a comfort grip to use as a Wireless Gamepad, WITH gyro-aiming
Since its a pc just use a standard USB-C dock and there you go
@@Montisaquadeis No thanks, I already have a Nintendo Switch, I don't need an Ouya

Slick editing there! That keyboard was not on it before the cut. But it was when you were taking it off the stand. 👀
Damn, gonna be expensive for having that logo! 🤪
A switch style handheld that plays pc games? I NEED IT!!!!
Feedback: make a second version that more budget oriented.
That would basically be a Switch though, just with way worse optimization… and a higher price tag.
@@XDLugia it would still have access to the entire PC library of games. And honestly I'd rather they just drop some of the visual frills. Like the RGB, and detachable controllers.
No exclusives tho
@@woodsy4458 true. But that's also true for the model shown in the video.
@@fairplayer916 That's interesting as when I first saw this I didn't think the controllers were detachable and was wondering who would even want to buy this if the controllers didn't detach.
I'd like the screen to take up more of the front, therefore eliminating most of the black bezels
I want the Ori....
I need it!
It looks perfect for reading comics!
The color shift is sadly awful to the point that reading on it makes one page look blue if you don't hold it perfectly still. Saw it in person.
"Switch games are too expensive" holding a device that its going to cost +1000$
And only use a Intel iGPU that is actually weaker than the Switch. He should have booted up Withcer 3 to see how it runs(hint, it wouldn't have).
@@amirabudubai2279 you'll be surprised to see how it actually runs almost the same as in the switch
Amir Abudubai, I think it may come with a vega APU. The intel thing was a mistake in this video. Have a look at other news sources. But honestly, if the Nintendo Switch Pro comes out this year, and it costs 1500 dirhams ($400), Imma get that shit.
@@Samusepicness
On top of that, the Switch uses NVIDIA SoC, the only console manufacturer that picks NVIDIA where Xbox and PlayStation have long picked AMD when it comes to 3rd party hardware between those two graphics hardware manufacturers.
It's also only first party Switch games that are generally expensive (Nintendo games are usually $60 and don't drop). Ports of games to the Switch are overpriced at first but usually fall off.

The foldable tablet would be great for tabletop games like Dnd. Imagine a DM using this like a traditional story from a "book", This would allow a more natural feel for finding info on the go, and to have it accompany a table with a built in tv, could be a breathtaking experience.
Time to rewatch this now that the Steam deck was announced
yes steam deck reminded me of UFO. it almost 2 years ago.... I hope dell really introduce UFO in few months. so we dont have to wait at least 5 months to more than 1 year. Competition is great
UFO would be amazing! Even if it ran at a standard 1080p (to keep the cost down) it would still be great!
The "switch" should have 2 models. Including a low end one running steam os for steam streaming. I already have the gpu power I don't need it run on the portable one too.
Mike Why would Nintendo do this?
@@CloroxBleach-vy1dj Not sure if you're looking, but he put 'switch' in quotes to indicate he's really talking about project UFO.
@@AngelicHunk Ah, that makes sense. Although, that makes it a tad bit confusing.
So do i wish to see on this beautiful device
1)play the majority of steam video games with superior performances and buttery smooth controls
2) have apps that the user can download such as hulu, netflix, funimation and much more
3)basically a mobile pc with pc like and browsing internet experience on the go
4)great internal memory storage of a least 1 terabyte or something big with a extra external micro sd card slot
5)don't be a competitor to the switch to avoid or reduce draconian nintendo potentially suing alienware
5)add the best highest possible software and hardware available while making it affordable
6)1080 hd graphics with buttery smooth responsive controls and frames that are amazing
7)also make it rich with content and features that make people say " damn i have to have it!" Lol
8)be able to play xbox game pass games since its basically a mobile pc
9)play nividia ge force successfully with great awesome performances and stability
10)i dont care much for epic games butsome people do so if it can play those its a nice addition
Age of Leviathan 11) not ridiculously expensive and doesn’t have joysticks that drift
To my knowledge no price on this has been shown but I have a feeling it'll put those "expensive" switch games to shame
Nvidia 2013: ‘Stream PC Games through Steam’
Dell 2020: *’Hold my Switch’*
Wait until switch emulation becomes better and you could just totally replace your console with this altogether.
Yeah hope this puts Nintendo on watch. They need to get their heads out of their asses and set up n64, gc, Wii emulation and get some ports going or this thing is gonna come in like a freight train and steal their thunder
Or Nintendo embraces PC gaming by opening up a digital shop that allows users to purchase and play Nintendo games, with all the benefits and customization that's available in PC gaming.

Its dell, they are all about Intel
I think the usefulness of having a portable dual-screen set-up is extremely underrated.
Nintendo DS: I am your father
its pretty overrated when you compare it to virtual reality and how that blows any portable dual screen out of the water
@@SLAAMIT ok but nobody is gonna carry a VR headset and the cable management for that everywhere, it's too much of a setup versus just getting right into an editing software on a screen, or in this case screens.
THAT is what I wanted from a switch. Now I use a 11.5" convertible tablet with separate dock and removable solid KB (unlike Surface) for retro and indie gaming, with a Dualshock 4 controller. Basically it's a combination of the first 2 devices, but has a desktop dock with dedicated keyboard and mouse. (Samsung ATIV 700t)
There's a lot of room for improvement with the external peripherals in most devices. I can undock the tablet from the dock, open the bag, dock it with the KB and close it and walk out the door. It's just so convenient. A KB that covers the screen is ideal for portable devices.
Please make the UFO real Dell we need this!!! ♥️
But with amd because they run cooler and have way way way better igpu
@@beni5149 I agree it'd probably be better with AMD, they've been kicking ass lately. Maybe they have some pre-existing contractual obligations to exclusively use Intel idk.
If they switched to an AMD apu, I’d consider buying it

Its 2500$ according to engadget, so prepare to empty your wallet.....
i do wanna know if colton knew about whats going on or if his reaction is pur xd
I would absolutely buy Project Duet for productivity. As long as it also had HDMI in/out so I could use both screens for presentation as well as use both to hook up to my existing PC for an extra 2 screens. What a great idea.
Such a nice Smach Z trailer!
