This movie is a "pig wearing lipstick" situation. You can dress it up with great actors in the background and a potentially awesome antagonist but all of it fails when the main protagonist is someone we just don't care about. No emotional connection means no concern with their fate. If there was a class on how to make possession movies then this would be in the "Don't do this" lesson.
I so get Jumby. He was mad he was never born to be able to attend a Green Day concert (seriously, anyone else get Billie Joe Armstrong vibes from that kid?....and yes, I am a Green Day fan so chill.) I may be going to hell for that comment, and laughing over the Ricola bit...(who am I kidding? I've already got a mansion there with a "natural hot spring" to relax in...and since we all laughed over that part, I declare pool party once we all get there!) Great job, Tom as usual. : )
At first I thought the zombie child was for sure a ghost from an abortion. But let’s see… the grandmother’s twin brother is the demon and Casey’s a doorway to the other side because her twin brother’s fetus fused to her in the womb, right? So, Zumby isn’t there in spirit, Sophie’s brother is just using him to torment her. It seems more complicated than necessary, haha.
It's so annoying how much less scary the movie is once we get into the backstory and the nazi experiments, like it was so much scarier, when it was just a demonic baby jealous that it wasn't born, and wanting revenge on his sister! There's your movie right here, it's reminiscent in tone and motivation to the Ring, but it's very different so it's not just a copy!
I'm so glad Gary Oldman and Idris Elba were able to make a couple of mortgage repayments off this movie by standing next to wind machines. Great content as always, NewBee! :)
Every single thing that was supposed to be horrifying in the parts you showed just struck me as looking purely silly somehow, especially the boy in the cupboard, even the old fella who's head starts twisting round.Maybe it was just unconvincing in some way?
I mean you're not sitting down and watching the movie and immersing yourself in it, you're watching a comedic movie review, of course it's not scared! In the movie the boy in the cupboard, it's like 20 minute of build up and several intense fakeouts before we get to it! The old man with his head upside down, was legitimately stupid though!
Pretty bad when a movie has Gary Oldman and Idris Elba and STILL manages to suck lol oh, and..... REEEEEEEEECOLAAAAAA had me dead 😂 hilarious as always good sir
I remember seeing this in theatres when it came out. I tried to watch this recently and got about 10 mins into it before I thought "that's enough of that."
That movie is like an hour and a half long episode of a "Friday the 13th" TV show. Great review of the movie, your jokes are always good and it brightens our day Bee Man.
I love your commentary. I want more than anything for you to do a review on the show "Midnight Mass" on Netflix cuz the way that story goes is crazy and I would love nothing more than a newbee review of the show. And to be fair it is my birthday Dec 14 so you know 😉 lol but for real I think it'd be great 🧡🦇
I'm a chimera. I had a twin brother, I am a female, I absorbed him. So we became one person. I remember thinking YES A MOVIE ABOUT CHIMERAS! No. And yes movies still think twins are evil or spooky. I was disappointed.
I can`t believe you referenced Kids In The Hall!!! I thought only Canadiens knew of that shit. I saw them live about 8 years ago and boy o boy was it radical! Thanks for the great review! Proost, Skoal and Cheers!
That kid from Malcom in the Middle going all scary-face AND getting hit by a Toyota to break the whole windshield but stand there totally unharmed making threats and getting cussed out-just so funny to me
Discovered your vids around the time you released your Human Centipede 1 review. Love the chill vibe, I've watched all of your vids since. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the entertainment
I think it's the dog that gets me...that mask was really weird!! But, yeah....it kinda missed the mark 😕 As always...your review was fantastic. Can't wait for the next one!!
I never saw the movie but I remember the trailer on tv at night because that part where the old man’s head twists upside down… The movie may have been bad but that scene is one of the more disturbing I’ve seen from this type of film.
Please, PLEASE do "The Hole in the Ground" (2019). It's Irish and the potato jokes write themselves if only there was someone ballsy enough to make them ❤️
I haven’t kept up with you honestly just cause well I didn’t ha s the bell notification on which now I do! Anyways I love your new setup! I hope you keep growing. I will keep up with you!
Honestly, the first time I watched this movie, the bathroom mirror scare made me turn off the movie. I later - like, months or even a year later - I finally watched it and... well let's just say, I wasn't that impressed by it, but the jump scares still got me
It was one of the worse so-called "horror" films I've seen. And the ending.....Please! So bloody cliched! The New Bee is right: Who cares and so boring! I had more fun watching this review -- loved it! Even Gary Oldman and Idris Elba couldn't save this mess! Thanks for this brilliant review.
The first time I watched this movie I actually liked it, for no special reason. After a second viewing, a couple of years later I understood why. This film blatantly exploits Odette Annabelle beauty. I’m not talking about her body, I’m talking about her face. I could say that al least 25% of the screen time is spent in close ups of her looking stunning, perfect hair, glossy lips, flawless skin, no matter the context pf the scene. Then I realized that this movie was produced by Michael Bay and everything made sense.
This movie is totally unbelievable! I mean, what nightclub has bathroom stalls that big and clean??
I really didn't expect the Ricola. That was brilliant.
I know right! I burst out laughing it was perfect timing
Yes!
That was brilliant and hilarious at the same time
Gotta love it when your favorite Bee uploads on a downer day, perfect thing to chill out and forget about everything :D
"Walmart was closed, so....." You are a treasure!
"Zombies are from Norway?" Bro why do I keep finding reasons to talk about draugr?
"Ricola", definetely one of your best gags yet!
Love the Full Metal Jacket reference😆😆😆
The Ricola made me spill my drink. Don't ever change newbee. 😂

“Would this be as effective on a kindle?” Asking the real questions 😂😂

You made me spit my coffee out with the Ricola. That was hilarious!
Oh man, this may be the funniest riff you've done so far, thanks!
I screamed when she poured cold water into the hot pan...
Big fan of the background. And everything actually this channel has always been a delight
Woohoo! Fresh content first thing in the morning, what a treat!!
Bee!! Thank you for such a wonderful morning present!! You are the most underrated wholesome channel!!!
Zombies are from Norway, that got me hehe.
Nazi ones anyway.
@@michaelthomas5433 maybe, no idea about those movies.
@@your-MrLamp96 I was referencing Dead Snow. A Nazi zombie movie from Norway.

"Never interrupt a creepy kid doing creepy sh!t".......BEST advice of the day! Awesome as always! :)
I have a feeling I'll be repeating that advice before too long.

Friday the 13th series had better stories than this and Robey. And David Cronenberg directed an episode

She was in cloverfield 2008, also jumby west Indian word for evil spirit
I toyed with the idea of watching this movie, thank you for saving me that time, I can't get back! Great review!
Uh-oh we can trace this back to the Nazis. A movie like this reminds me of Ouija or Mirrors.
Hate how movie demons are always ‘swallow your soul’ this or ‘gimme a baby’ that
The ricola horn bit made me cackle
"He-lying on the floor" 😂🤣😂😅
These reviews are great, regardless of the movies. 😁
Yep, that wrap up at the end seems about right.
Was waiting for Batman to show up..with Gary Oldman ..
Wow i watched this movie as a 9 year old have been looking for it ever since
I would go for Jingleheimer, it's a cooler name for evil! :P
It's 3 am here and I'm watching this, yes, I'm enjoying my treat
Clockwork orange reference... Nice 🙂
"That's enough crack before bed, young lady" I love your witty remarks lol

Dexter’s Dad and Masuka did anyone else notice? 🤣🤣

Welp, I'm never going to be able to attend Rosh Hashanah services without hearing Riiiiiicolaaaaa in my brain. What a time to be alive.
Cool background
I actually like this movie, my first introduction to odette yustman
Interesting she changed her name to Odette-Anabele
My first intro to get was Cloverfield. She changed her name when she got married
@@theNewBee I know that
Right, my bad Cloverfield was my first introduction to her

Yay I'm saving this video so I can watch it with my coffee ❤️❤️
Ah, Brick was always a lil weirdo, I see.
Not sure what's more absurd, "Zombies are from Norway" or "some people are doorways".. honestly thought the 'doorways' quote was the fake one
Loooooove your reviews!
