You always look beautiful in everything you wear! Please consider sharing tips for women who are very well endowed and have a short waistline! It is very difficult for me find clothes that make me feel put together! Wider legged pants make me look like a refrigerator box! I truly appreciate your videos, sweet personality, and sincere helpfulness in making me look my best.
I can try to research that Stephanie but obviously i just don’t have any experience with it. I do have blog posts that may help here dressedformyday.com/category/fashion-2/dressed-for-my-day-my-way/
I sometimes shop with an outfit in mind; usually, I look for matching pieces, like Appleseed's knit pants, and then I snap up a matching top or two. Everything mixes into the rest of my wardrobe, though. The exception is when I want a dress; over the years, I have had to buy shoes especially to go with the dress because I didn't have anything appropriate.
That blue blazer looks great on you with the jeans, etc...love your videos.Oh, and the brownish blazer with the white shirt and black pants looks very stylishly smart.
love love your tips. just finished putting winter clothes to the back of the closet and getting spring and summer items out... the one thing i find aging on me is wearing a tee under an open shirt, tucking the shirt in or tying it a the waist feels energizing and youthful . many mature women have turned this look into a uniform , belting an open shirt works well. thanks for adding belts as a fashionable accessory
I just purchased some white jeans. I had a hard time finding any in my size (8p) but finally found some on Amazon. I have no idea why they were not available in so many stores. Glad I finally got them.
I’m excited to find your posts! I am 66, and try to dress on trend, but don’t want to look like I’m trying to be younger! I recently discovered Chico’s clothes, honestly I found some in a boutique-style second hand store near me! I work in the office at a Christian school and mostly wear dressy casual to work, which Chico’s does really well! Now I need to go pull some of those things out of my closet that I keep saying I’ll wear, but never do! I’m going to focus on the essentials and the colors that look good on me!
This is a great video. I am retired, and I like to look very good in relaxed casual upgraded clothes. I hope that makes sense. Sometimes I put on a dressy blouse with my jeans just to make it look a little nicer I only have three pairs of jeans, white and black.dark blue..😊 I love the long sleeved tops in the new colors.
Right now I’m a t-shirt & jeans person because I need simple clothes for work but next year I will retire and well, yeah, I’ll keep the jeans and T-shirts, but I’ll be able to wear nicer shirts too without fear they’ll be ruined by something gross. I’m not a fan of the ankle length jeans or pants- I hear my mother calling them “high water pants”😆. If my ankles are showing I’m wearing sandals & a skirt or shorts! I absolutely love that pink shirt! And I do like the longer jean jacket….thanks for the tips!
Thanks for this - I have already been adding things to my wardrobe for Spring, and happily I have many of these! Just need some white sneakers and I'm set!
I now shop with the idea of creating multiple outfits and its so nice to be ready for anything that comes up or just looking great at home. Although the wider leg pants look nice, I just can't get past thinking they look baggy and add weight to our overall look. Skinny jeans when not too tight are slimming and look perfect with so many kinds of cute shoes!! Thanks for the wonderful videos.
I love your advice and fashion sense. I would appreciate if you add something for women 50+ and obese. I am 56 and overweight and still working, no matter how hard I try I feel like something is missing.
Im so ready for Spring!! I enjoyed these tips for spring outfits. It shows me what I need to do to update my wardrobe. Definitely need to work on it. Thanks.
This video was so helpful! Thank you Kay! The outfit suggestions you showed gave me a couple of new ideas for outfits I can create from items I already have in my closet! Excited to wear some new combinations.
Kay I can’t believe I just discovered you last week! Where have you been hiding girl!! I’m a neutral loving girl who just this winter decided to reluctantly add color into my wardrobe. You’ve given the best advice on how to do this. Thank you so much!
Loved the wardrobe essentials Kay! I often don’t have enough solids in my wardrobe. As I just did a huge wardrobe purge I’ll be looking more towards essentials for spring and summer. I have difficulty layering as I always run too warm. A denim jacket and shirt are a must!
Great selection Kay! We are heading into Autumn in Australia but it’s still very warm here at the moment so I’m tempted to buy a couple of these pieces 😊
Have you already done something on what to wear to a funeral? I would like something that I could wear in any season. In my late 70’s , funerals are in my future. I know I would like an outfit ready to go. Black polished suit? I am open for suggestions. Thank you!!!
Hi Kay, I’m a new follower and you have inspired and taught me how to put classy and fun outfits together. The color intensity tips were very helpful. I shared your channel with my 80 year old mom and now she is hooked too. 😃 I’ve been admiring the bird picture and glassware in the background, would you please share where you found them? Thanks so much! Gail
That’s great to hear Gail. Thank you so much for letting me know. The glass jars were all purchased at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago. The print is here: rstyle.me/cz-n/hksfqhchvkf
I think I’m set for spring. Summer came today to Georgia. But it won’t be staying. I was almost ready to pull my shorts out. I don’t even have my summer clothes ready. But I have lots of shirts to wear in my closet. I buy separates and make outfits too. I do need a pair of new white jeans. It just scares me to buy white. I have a dog that jumps all over me as soon as I walk in the door. And I have to hold him for a while. If I try to put him down, he jumps all over me again. So I’m Leary of white. I have gained weight from medication I have to take. I have other white and off white jeans. But I’m sure they aren’t going to fit me right now.
@@edennis8578 So true , especially when we take the time & money to put together well-fitted , color coordinated outfits ( even if it's just jeans & a cute top ) . We style our hair , maybe some makeup & a piece of jewelry , then after all that , wear pre-worn looking pants . Defies logic ...
They are in style but you certainly don’t have to wear them. I think it’s nice, however, to appreciate the fact that we all have different taste and some of us enjoy this fashion trend. 😊
Agree that we should dress as individuals . However , when shopping this weekend , I am no longer seeing the un-hemmed pants / ripped jean in stores & only ripped jeans worn by teen girls . I shop in a university town ( Univ. of Illinois ) , w/ a big variety of stores ranging fr. Talbots & J.Jill to Target & Walmart , & a wide diversity of ages & economic status . Appears we who embrace " Midwestern Casual " are stepping it up a notch overall , especially w/ fresh , new , colorful Spring options . 💐🥀🌻💚
Well that’s interesting because Talbots has raw hem jeans in their New Arrivals here rstyle.me/cz-n/hmbxwichvkf and here rstyle.me/cz-n/hmbxzuchvkf You don’t have to like them or wear them, but I don’t understand why you feel then need to criticize or humiliate those who do.
@@DressedforMyDaywithKayHarms I was in Talbots this past weekend - the store did not have many things featured in the newest catalog . I left empty-handed & disappointed for the first time in years . Will try again next month as I truly need to replace some basics for Spring / Summer .
I have a problem you may be able to help. I would love to wear blazers but they’re all so king on me. I am 5’ 128lbs any tips? I like the look of your blazers in your videos they don’t look king like the ones I keep finding
I love the blazer you’re wearing, it is a great color on you, and for spring! Im not a blazer girl, but it makes me want one!

I think straight-leg pants work the best for most body types.
I have that body type and have found the best look is hip length tops. Never tuck tops into the waist of pants.
Hi Kay, can you do some segments on Plus size gals! Thanks 🙏
Blu blazer and jeans u are wearing is sooo cute! Thank you for the great tips! I am paying attention!
Good day to you kay.stay safe always.God bless you.
Thank you Leticia. Bless you.

I love a graphic tee with a blazer and trousers. So chic! Sneakers will be my go to for spring/summer. Thanks for all the wardrobe inspiration.

Love chambray but it washes me right outttttttt🥹
Looks good on neutral or cool tone skin
Do you think it’s ok to wear yellow gold and white gold together?
Yes. The key is to wear one piece that has both colors, like this rstyle.me/cz-n/hmhfzichvkf or something similar. Even a mixed metal watch.
Hello. i love these and wanted to shop the chinos but none of these links work for me. All of my browsers returned errors. Any help is appreciated!

Hmm. Which ones? No one else has said they and they’re working for me. Can you be more specific?
