That helmet is a massive upgrade and that cape is undeniably cool and much better ! They should ALL have a helmeted option

Yeah, RG and the Lion do at least. The HH mini for the lion is amazing. I'm not sure about all of them but it I think they all need one or two options personally.

Yup, agreed! Unfortunately, Joytoy are only able to do what GW allow them. The mini of RG didn't have a helmet option, so neither does theirs. This is why Lion didn't get a usable pistol.
I'm definitely happier with the upgrades, however, my wallet... not so much lol

Thanks Skelly, been considering buying that helmet for some time but didn't know where was safe to get it from. I got that another helmet a better sword for RG, 2 other swords for my blade guard and Grimaldis helmet for one of my Templars, I spent well over £100 to be honest. So thanks 👍
Haha damn, you went in! It's very dangerous going on that site, so many cool custom parts. I've got a few things on my wish list. Took a while to get my heads but they both turned out great. I'll do a vid of my BT marshal soon. I also got some soft goods!

Kind of expensive for the head
It was about £36 and to be honest I really thought the figure was incomplete with out it. Given we got 3 choices with the lion and 2 with the giant smurf it made we feel like we were getting short changed on RD given there is hardly any paint on him complained to LEJ and RG. Fortunately the sculpt is great over all but the figure feels flat mostly especially the cape. For me this works as a mod and I like the idea of supporting creators in the space also. I take your point about the cost, but for this one figure it will make me enjoy it that much more, unfortunately it seems JoyToy are cutting corners with the paint and quality control on recently released figures and I just hope they up their game for Horus. I was disappointed to see the lack of shading and highlights on the so called improved releases of the gen one marines, so it looks like they are getting greedy and fobbing the community of collectors with half baked products now. I used to get few of the base marine releases and all the named characters, I'm now only getting the ones I really want for lore and display purposes. So having the custom option is a bonus. They just better not mess up Sanguineus and Russ or that will be the end of my collecting these.
Alas, tis a hefty price to pay for beauty! It's a shame that we didn't get a helmeted head to begin with, but then Joytoy are just beholden to GW and what was included with the mini. I'm definitely happier with these changes now. It's really gonna be down to the individual if it's worth paying for the extras! 💀
any of the helmets lore accurate?
I think Dorn's helmets are from artists interpretations but nothing official from GW
