Why isn't this guy running for President?

    • @An_Attempt
      @An_Attempt 6 місяців тому

      1. Money; it is very expensive to run for president.
      2. He is a Republican, he does not have a chance so long as Trump is still alive and eligible for a second term.
      3. It's not exactly an easy or fun job.
      4. These days, being president means that you will be vilified by about 50% of the population one way or another.
He could run for president but that would essentially be a means of spoiling either Bidon or Trump. So he might be able to effectively select the next president by running, but might burn his future chances at holding public office ever again.

It is very very upsetting that most of the younger generation have no knowledge at all of economics, nor amy interest in learning about how it works. They have been raised in many cases by parents who both worked, and used much of that income to buy everything their children wanted, so the children learned nothing about themselves earning and conserving money. Certainly not from their babysitters, childcare providers, or worse, not from their schools and colleges.

As a leftist, Schweikert is one of the few Republicans I feel like I can actually respect. I don't agree with everything he says or votes for, but he genuinely seems to give a shit, and he seems to focus on real problems, not just the modern typical vague MAGA crap that has no real plan or the anti-social stuff where republicans just want to ban whatever LGBT crap people want to do. More republicans should follow in his example. It would certainly lower my stress levels by a lot if they did. I'd love to be disagreeing over economic policy again rather than social policy.

As a person still trying to find where I stand in politics, I have realized that the voters on the moderate left and the non maga republicans actually see the same issues. They just haven’t studied the facts that people like Schweikert presents. I highly recommend you study the thoughts of Milton Friedman and F A Hayek and you will see the parallels between their views and the views of the modern individual concerned with where society and the economy is headed such as Schweikert

More than one lady during the last century told me about what it was like while the second world war was ending in Germany. Their relatives living there had to use a wheel barrow to bring enough money along to buy only a bag of groceries. Inflation was at such a high rate there in Germany at the time any man left who was often geting paid had to learn how to spend all of his money in only a day to prevent it from losing value all the more.

What do you mean by giving the people a chance to become healthy? It is a very big rabbit hole that involves changing lifestyles of people. You need to convince people to be healthy, get out of their *comfort zone*. That is a major undertaking, especially for young adults and older.
Also, because of the inflation, food products or in general, *essential* services become more expensive, but what stays cheaper that most regular food products? *trash food* like fries, hamburgers etc, rich in fats, increasing obesity among other things.
It is sad to see the democrats not taking the bull by its horns and tackling the snowball that gets bigger every year, but hopefully something gets done.

The Bad with the idea of fixing obesity:
    - You have to make sure that places like McDonalds are not the go-to food
    - You can't make them NOT be the go-to food IF THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST OPTION - and cheap is what we CAN afford right now
    - People would be more healthier if they could afford things, would already own a house, etc. so they wouldn't have to spend so much on such crazy rent prices, could afford better healthcare, yada yada, it's a complicated big deal.
Rep., I know you are aware of this. I would love if you could go more in-debt regarding this matter. It is a branch of things that is currently wrong in the country, and what it would take reigning in all of those matters - addressing the food inflation, addressing rent, addressing housing crisis, healthcare in a way to actually assist obese patients (esp those with hormonal/psychological issues), etc -
You see the actual details more than we do, and we would love for somebody to actually Speak it out, so that we can Focus on those matters and speak up about them ourselves when it comes to elections, and inspiring other countries as well.
Thank you so much for your work, incredible watching you-and your colleagues on these videos. - greetings from Hungary

lower taxes = higher tax revenue, believe it or not; it was covered in one of his previous speeches, and all the historic data/current modeling supports it. Keys are hidden in the ETF REIT pools...it's a debt back security scam. Needs to stop and they need to wipe the consumer end of the debt clean..that means former debt consolidations. If your down to 40-50% of your mortgage standing is paid off or paid down as of right now..chances are the rest of it is consumer debt on the home that isn't yours and you can't get refinanced without being exploited for twice the cost for anyone else to pick up the debt. This is how you know you have bifurcated mortgages. It's impossible to get a lower rate, FHA won't allow it and banks want twice the current rate to deal with the debt which just inflates everything by 50% or more each and every time they buy and sell or transfer the mortgage without a proper discharge of debt that isn't related to the actual home cost. When you do the math they would owe you money. Trust me I did the math! That's 50% amortized each time not just the base value of the home..it's an entire new mortgage with huge amounts of exploitation of income generation.

With an average of 79.7 cents per premium dollar is spent by insurers on health care proper and 17.8 cents on the insurers' “operating costs,”
The usa has a horabal insurance monopoly problem, the sulutions is not sosalist government caps on inavation to get rushias horabal helthcare. How about usa owned, but universaly contracted heathcare on cruise ships.
Our debt is crushing our country and (not ai chips or oil is not the reason) over 1/3 of it, is healthcare, Since 2008, the average cost of a family health insurance premium has risen 75%. So you could say that heathcare might destroy the great republic of usa if they don't make it cheeper not more expensive.
In a free market prices are always falling as saturation of new compitition entering the market pushes prices down,
This ofcorse dosnt happen if there's any goverment protected monoply that keeps prices artificially high by insintivised blocking of new compitition through litigation or fees.
Our heath care is one of manny such industorys, ( nor unlike defence and housing or even food) that is abusing this prosses to the benifite of buracrats receving special compensation to keep it that way.
The sulution is simple, ad more compitition tell the price to see the doctor is cheep.
Although bureaucrats are the bigest reason this might not happen.
Most likely out of futility, would like to suggest we designate a very affective platform that solves this problem.
Mercy Ships was founded in 1978 by Don and Deyon Stephens in Lausanne in Switzerland.
Mercy Ships is an international charity based on Christian values that operates the largest non-governmental hospital ships in the world with a surgical capacity of 7,000 interventions per year.
If our mighty senitors were to grant A cruse ship hospital license, that aloud a board monitored and sertified, team of doctors and physicians to work a very competitively priced year contracts from different countries around the world and they provide all there own insurance and equipment at a competitive price, then a patient could be charged a fraction of the price
VERY LOW prices for simular care but that team payes usa taxes.
There would be a insurance bond reqirment for each contractor bid and working conditions that must be met or fees would apply, ( insuring quality control) but it would be likely 75% cheeper than our medical is charging state side.
Once one model works rinse and repeat intell ssi and medicare is 75% off.
an average of 79.7 cents per premium dollar is spent by insurers on health care proper and 17.8 cents on the insurers' “operating costs,” leaving only 2.7 cents per premium dollar as profits.
THIS PROCESS IS INTEDED LOWER INCURANCE COST NOT TO HURT USA PHYSICIAN WAGES SO AT SOME POINT THERE WOULD NEED TO BE A PHYSICIANS MINIMUM WAGE LAW. (I personally think they are not paid enough)
In land healthcare will still have demand but there will be a downward pricing presser that dosnt exists today.
There's nothing stopping china from working out of Mexico or the Caribbean rite now to do this but the usa could subsidize, facilitate, and directly insintivise, ssi patients to use it as apossed to the super expensive alternitve saving the usa tresseries trillions over the next ten years.
Even if you can get healthcare to be 75% cheeper the government needs buget spending caps or they will create the same problem again.

  • @aaronb8698
    @aaronb8698 7 місяців тому

Its not that ssi is bankrupting usa, but that ssi is way to expensive.
    Temo healthcar like a billionar!
So china stoped building ghost citys of empty condos that no one wants and took an econ class, to understand supply and demand then watched your videos to realize that usa biggest problem is healthcare, and insurance monoplies are way too expensive. (79.7 cents per premium dollar is spent by insurers on health care proper and 17.8 cents on the insurers' “operating costs,”) So they are building cruseships with hospitals where all your drugs, surgeries, and hospital stays are 90% off when you spin the wheel! Yah 😊 🥳
The only problem is they can't doc at our ports.
Just joking they still have know clue about supply and demand and have never watched your video but I have and the usa should have A cruise ship hospital license, that gives a board monitored and sertified, team of doctors and physicians to work a very competitively priced year contracts from different countries around the world and they provide all there own insurance and equipment and bulk priced drugs at a competitive price, then a patient could be charged a fraction of the price on ssi.
The whole ship would still be profitabel and taxable as apossed to a china version. Either way the savings would be an improved heathcare alternative.
    Besides my grandma loves cuises.
