  • I went scrapping on garbage day and found a dirt bike!FIRST!!

    Any thing with a cord take it somewhere and plug it in 'if it works take it to pawn shop or second hand store and sell it.

    I have a suggestion ...... perhaps when you find a number of items in a large box, like when you found the springs and hardware, you might want to keep the box. It would make it much easier for you when you reach the scrap yard.....you would only have to dump out the box instead of taking each individual piece out of your truck. You would also be able to throw little items into the box as you go along your route.
    You may also want to consider putting a tote in the front with you for all of the cords you find.

    OMG I miss Yuengling! I moved from Illinois to Florida in 2002 for two years, and haven't had Yuengling since I left. I miss Florida for all the right reasons lol

    I love your videos. Right now you’re my 2nd favorite scrapper. Lol. Only reason you may hit #1 is I get daily videos, gotta step it up @scrappallenman lol. I love ya both.     Yeah, I agree with Bertha (below). I don't know the scrap values in the US but those fridges and the vacuum would be worth about $150-$200 on eBay in Australia, if they work, and you sacrificed them for scrap copper value. I would have at leat tried them out first!

    I always look forward to your videos.Always something interesting. Wow...never see anyone get a motorcycle to scrap. Good score! Hey, just a suggestion but a short 2x4 or 2x6 bolted in at each end of your headache rack would give a little more to fasten the sides to. Those sides have served you well. Was a real good idea!     Not much in the first load but the leaf springs made it heavy. Dirt bike was a nice score. If you break down the motor thats cast aluminum. Keep up the great work. Ps tell the trools to take a leap lol

    05:20, Thats appears to be an ammonia fridge from an RV or boat. Employ caution if you pop the lines for the steel. Why leave the fan bases? They should be (in part) metal.

    I like the idea of scrapping what is no good any more but think things usable could be reused by someone else. I tend to put reusable items on my free page to be recycled/reused by someone new. Good finds today...

    I picked up a free dirtbike of craigslist before also. I just recently sold it for 250. It was a 76 or 78 mr175 missing parts

    That fridges probably worked. there is a difference between a scrapper and a junker. what i watched was a junker. everything is junk i guess. A $43 dollar load was actually a $180 load. That first fridge worked i guarantee it. second one maybe. $50 for the small one $75 for the big one easily on Craigslist. You gave up potentially $125 for .30 cents of copper cord and 15 minutes of your time checking them out. SMH. my father in law was the same way for a minute. till i showed him how it's done. great vids though.

    When I used to scrap I at least check to see if electrical mess worked before cutting the cord. it’s just a waste of time here in NORTH CAROLINA. prices are way too low

    That looks to be at least in the 80s built dirtbike I would save that if I were you and try to get it running again or sell it for parts just the frame alone is worth somethin To a collector I can tell it was made in the 70s-80s because it has a square headlight And a single tactometer

      I clip the plug in off,save them in a tub and sell them as #2 insulated wire.Currently sells for 55 cents per pound.

    FYI in florida, it is illegal to take anything out of recycling bins as you just did. It's theft and depending on the items, could be a felony. Hardly worth the few cesnts you get.

      @@CovidConQuitTheCensorship I have been a picker for 56 years, ever since my mom and I found an off road florida dump. One item netted $250 and I was hooked. That was 1962. Also a treasure hunter, Pioneer metal detectorist, magnet fisherman and a variety of other money making endeavors. All done honestly.

    5:50 what to do against that wind noise:
    Sticky tape over the mic hole, poke oa hole into the sticky tape an then glue some cotton wool over the hole.
    why that sticky tape first? cus U might not want to glue the wool right on the case of the cam.

      I sell them to the scrap yard as #2 insulated copper wire for 50 cents a pound.

    That mini fridge u got, ir looks like it was a heated fridge, uses gas, do not cut the copper lines, omg you will regret it! I just cut up an old fuel fired fridge and it smelled like pneumonia times 100 it burned my eyes and mu nose and throat

    ? for ya big scrapper... what you suppose that weedwhacker was worth to the scrapyard? maybe 1$ if you are lucky? have you a local small engine repair shop in your area? i bet you get more from them, ;-) ( personally i'd take anything with a small engine by them and get better than scrap prices 1st)
