I have a suggestion ...... perhaps when you find a number of items in a large box, like when you found the springs and hardware, you might want to keep the box. It would make it much easier for you when you reach the scrap yard.....you would only have to dump out the box instead of taking each individual piece out of your truck. You would also be able to throw little items into the box as you go along your route. You may also want to consider putting a tote in the front with you for all of the cords you find.

Yeah, I agree with Bertha (below). I don't know the scrap values in the US but those fridges and the vacuum would be worth about $150-$200 on eBay in Australia, if they work, and you sacrificed them for scrap copper value. I would have at leat tried them out first!

05:20, Thats appears to be an ammonia fridge from an RV or boat. Employ caution if you pop the lines for the steel. Why leave the fan bases? They should be (in part) metal.
I like the idea of scrapping what is no good any more but think things usable could be reused by someone else. I tend to put reusable items on my free page to be recycled/reused by someone new. Good finds today...

That fridges probably worked. there is a difference between a scrapper and a junker. what i watched was a junker. everything is junk i guess. A $43 dollar load was actually a $180 load. That first fridge worked i guarantee it. second one maybe. $50 for the small one $75 for the big one easily on Craigslist. You gave up potentially $125 for .30 cents of copper cord and 15 minutes of your time checking them out. SMH. my father in law was the same way for a minute. till i showed him how it's done. great vids though.
When I used to scrap I at least check to see if electrical mess worked before cutting the cord. it’s just a waste of time here in NORTH CAROLINA. prices are way too low
That looks to be at least in the 80s built dirtbike I would save that if I were you and try to get it running again or sell it for parts just the frame alone is worth somethin To a collector I can tell it was made in the 70s-80s because it has a square headlight And a single tactometer
FYI in florida, it is illegal to take anything out of recycling bins as you just did. It's theft and depending on the items, could be a felony. Hardly worth the few cesnts you get.

That mini fridge u got, ir looks like it was a heated fridge, uses gas, do not cut the copper lines, omg you will regret it! I just cut up an old fuel fired fridge and it smelled like pneumonia times 100 it burned my eyes and mu nose and throat
