I live through you Sean!! I just want to thank you for making these videos I’m sure there’s a lot of people like me that would never get to see an event like this in their lifetime and getting to see your tours is seriously awesome. A lot of other tours I’ll watch people skip over so much and it feels rushed, but I don’t go a day without watching either you or Irene give some sort of plant tour. You both are amazing at going into everything and going into depth on care and where the plants come from. I also love how much new stuff I’m introduced to in every video it’s genuinely educational even to someone like me who likes to think they know all the plants 😂 So thank you again for taking your time to share these beautiful plants and your knowledge with us 😁
I know of a man in New York who made two terrariums out of two alcoves. In them, he kept over 200 small orchids for years. It's not what you've got, it's how you use it... ;) :P
@@StanWatt. you are absolutely right! I actually got into building terrariums due to space and I live in the desert so I wanted to keep my plants happy but could not do humidifiers everyday and even that isn’t enough here in AZ
Cannot explain to you how much I enjoy these rare plants show videos. It keeps the passion going (not that it needs help). So thank you Sean and keep em coming
WOW WOW WOW Really really special yay such a TREAT! YES, I Knew I recognise that voice! Yes, that very kind gentle handsome man from Summer Thailand trip! Wonderful to see him (masked up!) again! WOW
@@onlyplants I m glad to see the S. Amex vendors / people do well AND the plants showing well during this show as the plants didnt do well in Singapore Garden Fest 2022 - most of the plants seems damaged / brownish / in poor conditions during the Fest.
What an exclusive premium show for exotic plants. The placement of big greens with colorful bromeliads as under was just a brilliant idea @5:00. Love love 2:53 Blechnum & 16:58, 7:10 Aglaonema Variegata, 9:30 bromeliad beauty & 10:15, displayed with framed insects with plants 23:30, Fire Aloe beauty 26:09, 35:37 Episcia v., 38:23 Hedychium, 44:27 variety, 46:50 Piper V., and all the competition plants 48:13.
I was hooked for an hour as well, couldn't leave! Much thanks Sean for sharing the LANNA International exotic plants show in Chiangmai, Thailand. Absolutely mindboggling indeed. :)
The jewel orchid you showed with the flowers is “ludisia discolor”. I only caught a quick glimpse but google it and check if I’m correct. Still watching, almost near the end. Thanks again.
Just beautiful plants and SO many new varieties! It is wonderful to get to see these plants that the majority of us will never get to see in real life. Thankyou for taking us along and making these videos Sean.
Every time I see you do the finger point and wiggle..it makes me smile so much. I can see the excitement coming out of your pointer finger like an excited 6 yr old🤣🤗💜🎉🌿.
Thank you for the very appetite vetting video. Lucky for me I wasnt there to spend all my money. Will be back home next week. Looking forward to drool over all the rare plants available in bangkok
Being from Thailand, but living in the US…. this is killing me!!!!!!!! 😆 So many beautiful plants, so many rare plants, so many yellow variegations (which I prefer over white)!!!!! Can’t wait to see your next clip ❤.
You live an exciting life, Sean! You make it possible for many of us to attend these amazing plant events with all these amazing plants. I enjoy when you converse with the vendors and breeder’s.
I have been looking for this expo and you are the only one who posted about it😅. Your excitement and knowledge for plants made me subscribe….just love it. Keep it up and hope your channel keep growing with fellow plant lovers
Wow. I watched every minute of this video. I wish I was there. So many rare plants and some I have never heard of. I love variegated plants and you really out dis yourself with this video. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to your next video. 👍👍😍😍😍🌸🌸🌸
Fantastically covered event Sean. Your excitement and your own knowledge of these plants are coming thru the screen. Unfortunate for us in Europe we struggle to get these lovely plants to work as our climate is different but we keep on trying… Thank you for bringing those shows to us.🙏
Well-put, hockey9064; I agree. This was exciting. I love attending plant shows in reality but this was just as much fun. Thanks Sean. We'll probably never get to see these beauties make their way to North America, so it was fun seeing them here. Amazing.
I’m new to your channel and developing an interest in houseplants. I’ve grown orchids for many years but have always had houseplants as well. What an amazing display, you must have been so excited to be there in person. It’s incredible the amount of variegated plants. Beautiful, amazing, unusual plants. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you Sean for this video! All those plants are so beautiful! I've enjoyed it I would also have liked to see more cacti.. maybe later in your videos?
I was so glad to see the Philodendron polypodioides. I just purchased a 2 leaf mid cuttings and it's putting out crazy roots. It's been on my wish list and so hard to find. Thanks for bringing us along with you it was so interesting.

Different nurseries use different recipes… fern fibre is not really that sustainable but its ok mixed with other things. Using fern fibre only may be a bit too organic and could invite rot.
21:54 variegated Pachypodium 😳variegated everything… does plant DNA mutate fast enough to have all these variegations aggregated on time for upcoming mass-variegation-hysteria 2023? Lovin it 😂
The plant community is so alive in Thailand! I wish my country supported the “boom” in plant industry since COVID started people buying lots of plants. But instead of support, they actually banned some exotic plants like ferns and jungle plants.... people liking plants is a good thing tho I don’t get it. Most people propagate plants but they afraid people will make plants extinct or something.
Haha sorryyy it was recorded badly. But theres another episode on Thailand aroid show coming soon to the channel! It will be more updated and with perfect audio

What kind of Aroid potting mix do they use in Thailand? Here in New Zealand many of us use fern fibre but I don’t really like it.

Haha yes. I think because more people are collecting them thats why these variegations are separated and given special priorities
@@onlyplants I really hope this is the explanation, as there might be others.

In Thailand, as long as you have import permits its extremely easy to bring in and out plants.
