I remember this from the movie, but had no idea it was another Lou Barlow original. Too bad they left this off the soundtrack, but happy to hear it now, thanks!
God this awesome. There's nothing outdated about it at all, except that it's like over 20 years old. I miss those days. God knows I do. The 90's were crazy. There were all these scenes fractured and independent of each other. And they were all just exploding. This music and the movie flood me with nostalgia.
@anjunadude001 The music playing during the scene where she enters the club & watches the 3 kids making out is the first half of NASA Theme. You can tell beacause of the sitar-ish sounding guitar lines. But one noticable difference is that in the movie the track features beefy sounding drum-rolls instead of the 'bang' sounds. Hope that helps!
When I was about 10 my cousins took me to a club that played this kind of thing. Everyone there was very nice. Many of them tried to baby me but I just wanted to dance. So they d let me dance with them. This kind of music brings back a very wholesome memory for me. Most 90s /early 2K club kids were super nice.
I know a lot of people look back at this film nostalgically but for me, when I saw this movie it was kinda hard for me to watch cuz I was in a similar situation as Jenny (didn't get AIDS but something kinda similar) and I'd go to parties while dealing with some shit but being surrounded by people while thinking about my situation just made me feel more alone.
awesome find! hey, would any of u happen to know the track when they steal that forty ounce? i forget the name atm, but i searched years ago and no luck. sounds like a break n a stand up bass.
this scene was at the tunnel back in the day. Nasa was a real club I was there on the night they closed....fucking sick! I think it was 93

Scotto shot this scene for KIDS at the shelter nite club in 94 or 95. NASA was the name of the party, not the club.
